My friend was flying out of Miami International Airport. She really didn't have much time to go outside to eat. So, we decided to try this place. The restaurant is clean and has a great view of the airport. You could sit by the window with a glass of wine. The menu had a little bit of everything. With our wine, we wanted to munch on some appetizers. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and guacamore. Both tasted good. However, I wish they had different kinds of chips to enjoy our dip. My friend had a burger that looked good too. (I was already full from these dips.) The server was friendly and good. I wouldn't come here just to eat but if you want to spend a few hours to enjoy your meal before the long flight, I recommend this place.

Salad. Nothing special. It was good.

I'm stuck at KMIA and this is where we ate. The layout is nice, and the service was....she worked hard but nobody else seemed to be working. So although she was working 5x harder than she should have we didn't get a lot of service. Anyways, I'll move on from that because it was an odd day that flooded and I suspect the roads didn't allow the night crew to arrive. So I won't base this review on a unique weather day causing people to call in sick. I like the view, and atmosphere. The food was just decent and everyone agreed. The odd thing I found is how small the menu is. I'm a fan of a smaller than average menu over a menu way bigger than average. But this was Def smaller than average. They only had 3 sandwiches, and only 1 was a burger. I don't know about you, but only having 1 burger to choose from isn't enough. And my roommate got one and it looked pretty bad for $19. Slightly better than a McDonald's burger because it had veggies, but whether the bread was home made or not the final product was not $19. It seems their whole menu is designed to be thrown together really quick which is understandable for this crowd. But they should have a couple of more complex items. Their entrees basically were -would you like our only chicken meal? -if not, choose one of a few overpriced steaks -otherwise you're getting noodles. And besides salads everything else can be pre cooked to just heat up. It wasn't a bad time but I'll definitely move along and try somewhere else.

This place is a hidden gem in the way of being away from the madness of the terminal areas. Seventh floor safe haven. Good music. Tables spread out. They dont have beef stroganoff on menu. A number of reviews are outdated on menu options. We had the burger. It was ok. Lots of fries. Well done was still pinkish so be aware

Definitely come here if you have Priority Pass. The food is good and the service was pretty good this time as well. The view of the airport is nice. I have been here a few times and it's hit or miss on the service piece, but the food is consistently good. I will return again.

I had seen this on my priority pass and wanted to make my way here once when I had the time. That time came this past trip. This is located near Terminal E's entrance, in the Miami International Hotel on the 7th floor. Once you get off the elevator, make a right and Viena will be right there. The sign said seat yourself and I went in. I was kinda surprised. It was around 12:30pm and this place was empty haha. It took about a minute before someone realized eyooo someone is in here. Yes sir twas me! I took a table that was next to the windows so I could do some plane spottin'. The waiter asked for my priority pass card and swiped it haha. I kinda forgot to enjoy the view and just chill haha. I decided to get: Pao de Queijo - Brazilian cheese bread Roasted portobello sandwich - roasted red peppers, mozzarella cheese, arugula, balsamic glaze ($16) First came the cheese bread and they were piping hot. So good. The cheese melted in your mouth and yet the outside texture was so light, airy, fluffy yet substantial haha. kinda hard to describe. I would recommend this! ($6) The roasted portobello sandwich came out immediately after. Eating the portobellos was sooo good and the balsamic glaze on the type of bread they were using was really good. It kinda stuck together and having the arugula in the middle of the mushroom and the glaze was just perfect. It also came with fries on the side haha. The cheese was just alright haha. Service was good when they were in the main room, but it kinda hurt having no one out for periods at a time. Servicing only me isn't bad, but there was someone else that came in and had to leave due to their flight and they tried to get the waiter's attention and that took 2 minutes....(hence the 3 stars) Priority pass it. Also kinda forgot I was at an airport and it was so nice having it quiet hahahahah.

I need to update my review of Viena because of an experience I had on a follow up visit that came across as shady. If you're bringing a Priority Pass guest, be careful!! We got the steak and potatoes and flatbread. The steak was cooked to the right temperature and was flavorful - the flatbread and salad is a good choice on Priority Pass at $18, as well. This all went downhill quite quickly when they tried charging each person to a separate bill and giving each person a $28 credit rather than $56 off the total bill per the Priority Pass terms. The manager insisted they do this based on "guidance from corporate". After insisting they are breaking their contractual obligation he called 'corporate' back and did a "one time adjustment". Why is this important? If one person orders an $18 flatbread and the other orders a $36 steak you'll still be under the $56. I called Priority Pass the next week and confirmed what they're trying to pull is against the terms - hopefully this is corrected soon.

This is a solid airport restaurant Cool space in the Miami International Airport Hotel with a nice view of the tarmac. Appetizers and entrees were consistently good, though the desserts fell flat. Recommend the fresh guacamole, burger, chicken lollipops, and beef stroganoff. Excellent Priority Pass restaurant!

Soggy noodles and not fresh mozzarella.
    Chris O.

Wow, the best thing I had here were the few "focaccia" croutons I ate from the salad. The pasta with "fresh mozzarella" was a joke. I guarantee that was not fresh mozzarella, 100% bagged, shredded cheese. One of the worst meals I've had in a long time. Covid or not, that's embarrassing for a "restaurant." If you're getting free meals from priority pass, you're getting what you paid for.

I got the pasta pomodoro and it was good, I wish there was bread to go with it but it was fine. My dad got the four cheese flatbread and I ended up having a piece and using that as my bread for the pasta haha. My mom got a sandwich and it looked good! The fries apparently were worth getting as well. I recommend the artichoke dip, I liked the lemony or vinegary taste! Overall the view was nice especially at sunset but the food was kind of plain tasting. Go for the view and the artichoke dip!

Come here if your a priority pass member, if not still come but prepare to pay for the view and dining space. I've come here twice while flying out of MIA, luckily I have priority pass which grants me $28 of credit per person. Food: The food here is one of the best pre-TSA options if not the best. They have a nice selection of flat breads, pastas, and European style fare. I've had a chicken flatbread that had too much bread and not enough toppings & a filet stroganoff that was very savory but very salty. Yes, these items weren't great BUT still better than margaritaville and burger king downstairs. Drinks: They offer a full bar and a number of wines. This is probably the classiest of the bars pre-TSA. Service: The service here has never been bad but its difficult to pay because it seems the whole restaurant only has one waitress on shift. Location: This is where Viena really shines. Located on the 7th floor of the hotel tower, you have great views of the runway. Also, since the restaurant is 6 floors above the crowds downstairs, you can actually relax before or after your flight. I suggest have a couple glasses of wine here pre-flight if you have the time.

I believe because they were missing staffs today it was a slow service , and not great how we heard about it. The manager was super polite with us trying to control everything but looks to many things for him to do alone... We orders a plate we só on YELP Strogonoff, it was missing the chips, there was one TOASTED mushrooms ( that tasted really bad) it was missing salt at the meat, rice, sauce... the meat was good, softly the way I like it and looks highly quality... And the quantity of the rice wasn't enough... The sittings are comfortable and the view is great...

Stopped by on an outbound flight but was.m a bit suspect since at the time Yelp showed three stars. As other reviews state, the place was almost empty. The views are impressive (as far as airport restaurants go), and service was good. The menu had a few good entrees and appetizers. I went with the Catch of the Day, which was salmon, with vegetables. I also had the Brazilian cheese bread. The bread was baked to order and served steaming hot. The salmon was huge, properly seasoned, and not over cooked. Great meal. Not quite sure why this is a three star place. It's a legit 4 star Yelp spot, that gets an extra star for being an airport restaurant which takes Priority Pass. Check it out!!

I've been visiting a lot recently, and even joined their wine club which offers two curated wines a month. Locally owned and operated, I feel really good supporting a place that the owners put so much effort into to offer such a gem of a spot for locals. I've tried a lot of wines here, and I'm always amazed at finding something new to me that I enjoy. If you haven't been, it's the perfect place for a date, a girls night, or a day for yourself. They also have good snacks and charcuterie for you to munch on while you drink vino. Don't know much about wine? No problem. Their team will point you in the right direction and they have something for everyone. This is an approachable wine bar- they want you to enjoy the wine as much as they do and I love that about Magie. This spot has a nice indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area. There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. Overall this place has a great vibe to it and I heard they host events every so often. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.

The first location in the River is better imo because the location is bigger, there is plenty more seating than the Grove location. Although, I still enjoyed my time at this location as well. Sooo how it works is that you go inside and pick a bottle of wine from the fridges. You can also order by the glass if you aren't a big drinker or if you want to try different wines. The bottles are moderately priced depending on your selection. We chose an orange wine and it was nice, very refreshing, you can really get that citrus essence with every sip. Another thing that they have is that you can pick different cheeses and meats and they will build you a charcuterie board. I love this because it is all based on your selection, nothing will go to waste. They also have food you can order. A lot of people love the nuggets with caviar. I think they are decent imo but I'm not like in love with them. Parking can be a bit annoying... If there isn't street parking, you can also park in the garage. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The only thing that was a hassle was getting a table. We had to wait a bit in order for a table to become available. Overall, this spot is a very cozy place to hang and mingle with friends.

As others have stated, Magie is good in concept and we'll likely return here, but with just a bit…read moremore effort on their part this wine bar could be so much better IMO. Unlike some other reviewers that scoffed at the prices of the wine, that didn't bother me so much. We had a bottle here that cost $55 and it retails for about $28; I was OK with that, as all restaurants and wine bars have a markup above retail, and even when you go to spots like Happy Wine or El Carajo and pick out a bottle to drink while in their shop, they charge a corkage fee for that. What I did have a problem with is that, after the "service charge" and other fees were added on, our $55 bottle rang up to more than $73 in total, which was ludicrous. When we first arrived at Magie we were met by a young guy who pointed out the bottles and where the various charcuterie items are located in the coolers, and we were then pretty much left on our own. We really just wanted a glass of wine each, but unlike places like Vinoteca, here at Magie they had a very limited selection of wines by the glass, and the ones available all seemed to come in single-serve cans. We picked out a bottle to share, went to the register, paid and the guy opened it and handed us 2 glasses. When I returned to get napkins, the guy just motioned to where the napkins were so I could grab my own (after moving a delivery cart out of the way by myself so I could reach them). Again, though this place includes an automatic "service charge", we received zero actual "service" unless one considers the 45 seconds it takes to uncork our bottle and charge us for the purchase. We had a seat, had a glass of wine each and then re-corked our bottle of wine and took it with us. Overall I think Magie is a great concept with lots of potential. The inside seating area is interestingly decorated and outfitted with lots of eclectic furniture and items on the walls, and the relatively large patio seating out front with tables for 2 to 8 people is shielded from the adjacent street/traffic and shaded by lots of trees and greenery. The ambiance overall is really very nice. The service, however, was non-existent, especially considering the automatic charge for that, and while prices of at least some wines aren't terribly out of line, the fact that all the service charges, taxes and fees added $20 to the cost of our bottle was a bit of a shocker. Magie should consider adding more wines by the glass IMO. Not just subpar quality single-serve cans, but decent wines, poured from a proper bottle with a topper that preserves the wine between pours like most every quality wine bar commonly offers. Lastly, while I don't think anyone expects linen napkins and white glove service, the paper plates and plastic cutlery customers are given to eat with are a bit off vs. what this place appears to be trying to be and the prices charged. The "F*ck Brunch" positioning statement on the back of the staffs' shirts was an interesting touch.
