    Queso and gold digger margarita
    Janelle M.

My friend and I went during their grand opening weekend and had a good time! She ordered the soft serve margarita and I had the Gold Digger. Both drinks came out fast despite how crowded the place, which was really impressive! We also ordered the queso fundido and birrie empanadas to share. The queso was alright, but I would go back for those empanadas. The ambiance was alright. The interior is very aesthetic, but unlike other locations like Deep Ellum or Grand Prarie, this location is up against a highway. If you want to have a more fun or longer night out, I would consider going to one of the other locations.

Grand Opening Night at Vidorra Grapevine! What a fun night! The beautiful décor, vibrant Latin vibe, and excellent music made the atmosphere amazing. We've been to other Vidorra locations, but we especially love this one! The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We especially loved the chicken flavors with that wonderful smoky touch! And our server, Sergio, was the BEST! He took great care of us with such an intuitive, friendly, and fun personality that made our night absolutely perfect! Congratulations, Vidorra Grapevine! We'll definitely be back!

Grapevine is showing UP for Vidorra. It took quite a while for them to open and I guess the anticipation just built because they seem to have a good crowd every time I have driven by. I stopped in to check out their happy hour. I have been to the Grand Prairie location and I too had been waiting for them to open. I think the GP location was built to be a Vidorra and this location was remodeled from being a Hoffbrau steakhouse so the vibes are a bit different. Still lots of plant decor and fun pops of color, though it is dark. However, it has been a 100 degree September, and it may just be in my head, but darker feels cooler and I will take it. Their bar area is HUGE. 360 seating, so plenty of room AND they have purse hooks. Which is a good thing because those chairs will not hold your purse strap and it will slide to the floor. I was just hanging out for a snack and to get some work done, so I grabbed a glass of wine and some queso. A winning combination. Their queso puts others to shame. It solves the biggest melted cheese issue, cooling, by bringing it out in a hot stone container. Perfectly melty cheese until you tap out. Most of their appetizers are half price during happy hour and the menu is very clear about something if it is not included, which is fantastic. Their chips and salsa come out with two types of salsa. The red is smokey and has good flavor but no bite. The green is very fresh, a bit tart, and has a slight kick. My preference is always for a salsa verde, and it is good. Some have said, and I would agree, that whomever was seasoning the chips was a bit heavy handed. They are salty. But they haven't even been open a month and some allowances should be made. They have a lot of people working behind the bar so the service is attentive but not pushy. They were really filling up when I left around 5. I am glad they are here, they are open, and I anticipate coming here often.

We dined here twice in this opening month; once at lunchtime and the other for dinner. They were slammed at lunch. There were very few selections open for dinner reservations, but when we arrived it was fairly empty. Maybe a staff issue. The decor is loaded with warm wood and faux plants that pair well with their exciting cocktail menu. The chips are covered with seasonings, very similar to the Julio's brand. (You can ask for unseasoned chips.) Two people at our table ordered the sour cream chicken enchiladas. ...Both men who typically love sour cream enchiladas. However, these were so smoky, one commented it tasted similar to a Thanksgiving meal. Neither would order that entrée again. The Birria was by far the best tasting dish ordered at both meals. The queso was delicious. Many enjoyed the Borracho beans, but it is filled with beer and I paid for that for a couple of days, gluten. The chimichurri rice was preferred by all over the Mexican rice. Not an inexpensive meal. They do have lunch specials. The cheese enchilada with chili con carne sauce was nothing like regular TexMex. I would not order it again. The service was extremely slow; we were there for two hours and not by choice.

Everything pretty good, but disappointing they put this cheap-tasting, unevenly spread, seasoning all over the chips. Just give out good normal tortilla chips.

Erik did a EXCELLENT job!!! He was very attentive and very helpful on figuring out what to eat. And the drinks were amazing!!

MAJOR SHOUT OUT...to the staff a the newly opened Vidorra in Grapevine (8/21/2026)! The service 5 star, food/drinks 5 star and the AMBIANCE AND DECOR, off the chart! We were constantly checked on despite this busy day. The GM Sha Tariq even came to greet along with many managers stopping my the table. Our table of 7 move around the metropolitan ro many dining establishments! We will definitely have this location in our monthly rotation! Thanks for everything!

Service was a little slow. Food was good. I wanna go back and try other items. We went there for brunch. I jokingly said that the ambience Inside reminded me of an adult version of rainforest Café. Lol.

Super disappointed and wanted to like this place. We can't see ourselves back unless these changes. It just seems stingey as a business to lack liquor in cocktails this price. The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.
