We have been an extremely satisfied customer of Vidito Tree Experts since the late seventies and just hired them again. We needed to make some more sunshine available the RivAni forest. The bid was perfect we had some detailed trimming and there were some specialized drops in a crowded area. Thanks for a great job done. The after-project cleanup was thorough! We had outstanding communication, and the crew were polite and worked hard. All good here, thanks Vidito Tree Experts, highly recommended. read more

excellent work, clean up, courteous, exactly as I requested, a pleasure to do business with.

Very professional. They did everything they were contracted to do. Cleaned up the yard nicely

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. I cannot recommend them more. I had an insanely large tree that was extremely difficult to reach. I needed not only the expertise of Vidito but also their people skills to negotiate the limited access with two others neighbors property. They were amazing, they didn't give up, continued to offer solutions until we landed on one every one agreed on. They excited the meticulous play perfectly, and left everyone's property in great shape. read more

Three neighbors and I had work done yesterday by Vidito and all couldn't be more pleased! They are efficient and professional in every way. I was so impressed by the care they took of my property by covering landscape lighting with cones and grass with plywood and moving furniture & large planters. Although my yard was hard to reach with large machinery, they managed to go up and over the house with the cherry picker and then proceeded to climb the two trees needing (MUCH) trimming. I was especially impressed to watch the owner instruct what appeared to be a new younger worker. This may sound corny but as I sat behind my large kitchen windows watching the way they maneuvered each branch so as not to come crashing into my kitchen, it reminded me of a ballet! Cleanup was also amazing! I would support this family-owned and local business again!!! (I'd like to post pictures but don't see the camera icon.??) read more

I am a disabled veteran and I was unable to remove our dead pear tree. Vidito Tree Experts came for an estimate promptly and accomplished the removal professionally with amazing clean up. I have to say that Butch, Curt, and Mark (our neighbor who referred them) were very knowledgeable and professional. In this day and age, it is very encouraging to have a positive experience. We highly recommend Vidito Tree Experts for your needs! 5 Stars+++ read more

I have used Vidito Tree Experts for well over 40 years. I have never once been disappointed. They have pruned trees and removed trees from tight precarious locations with never a mishap. One year they cleared out all the buck thorns from a front island of trees. They clean up all debris and usually leave things in better condition; this year they blew out gutters while cleaning debris off the roof. They are always punctual, and usually early. The best part: For large jobs I usually get a second estimate, and they are always the lowest. And they are all very nice pleasant people to deal with. I highly recommend them. read more

Our association used this company to work on the numerous trees in our community. I am so glad -- they do excellent work. Everyone on their team was also friendly and professional. I wish I had before and after photos to show the huge difference they made. Definitely recommend. read more

I have used them 3-4 times in the past year for downed trees, hanging branches, taking down carpenter ant damaged trees and pruning. I think I have more tree related needs than the average Yelper. They have been nice, quick to quote, and return phone calls. The other thing I like is they have offered me a discount to allow them to do the non immediate need tree work on their schedule not mine. And of course, the discount for leaving the wood on the ground. My worker elves do the cleanup for me, read more

Came and gave estimare for tree removal within good time period although I did remind them. . Price quoted was good and stump grinding price was added which was helpful. I have not yet chosen my arborist. read more

Vidito removed two bushes and stumps. We've used Video multiple times and they are great to work with. Reliable and a good value.

We needed some serious tree work done. A decent sized dead ash, a Siberian elm that needed trimming, and a huge sugar maple that we were pretty sure was mostly hollow. Animals went in and out of it, it had lost a huge branch, it was leaking sap, and something had excavated a lot of pulp out of it. We got a tree guy when we built the house, nice enough, but there was a lot of sloppiness, even some damage. The village of Westmont used Vidito a lot, and we watched them take down the dead trees on our parkway, so we went with them. The owner came out, gave everything a good look, gave me an estimate that was in line with what I was expecting. We just had to wait for the right day, maybe a little colder, so the frozen lawn wouldn't get too ripped up. Sizable crew, started roughly on time, and everything was done efficiently and perfectly. All nice guys, and the owner personally supervised the whole day. They were careful about my wife's baby pine tree, and even the birch right next to the huge tree barely took a hit. They had to work between that birch, my house, and the neighbor's flock of Rose of Sharon. I was positive something would get crushed, but nothing. They put down lots of plywood to limit the impact on the lawn, which definitely shows some wear, but there was a lot of equipment, and it was a lot less tread than I expected. Every time they prepared to take down a large chunk (of what turned out to be a half-hollow tree), they calculated what they were doing, where the thing was going to go, how they'd lower it on ropes, stuff you'd think would be expected (but I've seen other guys chainsaw and hope for the best). It all went the way they planned. They cleaned up the site beautifully, left me a bunch of firewood, and when they saw me carting mulch from the grinded stump to the back of my yard, they helped out with that too. Overall, this was a cost-effective, great outcome. They know their stuff, and they obviously hire well too. Between this, the parkway, and everything else I've heard about these guys, I highly recommend Vidito. read more

This company was cutting down large trees in the neighbors yard. They asked if they could come across our driveway. We said yes but when we saw the truck we asked how much it weighed. They said 11,000 pounds (or did he say 19,000?) We said no, it was too much weight and our driveway was only 4 years old. Did not want the risk of any damage. They coped an attitude. Came in between the houses and over the edge of our side walk. Two days later, there is a crack. I took a video the day before and pictures when i saw the crack. What really steamed me was that because we said no, the older man with the white hair made snide remarks about our driveway, saying it did not look new and some of the others were asking each other why they could not have access because they do it all the time. It seems like they were more concerned about making it easier for themselves than any concerns (rightfully so) that we had. We did not hire them. But their insults and damage were free. read more

Great response. They came in 24 hours and treated our magnolia for scale. Priced well for the service and looked over the rest of our property in a non pushy way. Highly recommend their services. read more

The Vidito family of tree experts gets my highest rating. I'm just a normal guy who stumbled upon them after I fired my nationally recognized tree service. I'd used the previous service providers for years, but they did not seem to respect my property often breaking landscape lights and the like while felling branches etc. The straw that broke the camel's back was dropping a 75# tree limb onto the top of my home spa/cover, requiring the replacement of the $600 cover. I've found Vidito very accommodating and easy to work with. They are reasonable, dependable...and... they're a local family. They show up when they say they will and don't leave behind a mess. I highly recommend them. Support your local businesses and give them a call. read more

This company is family owned and eager to please. Their prices were competitive and their work professional. They actually made the area look better than it looked before the limb came down! The workers were also very careful with their equipment on the lawn, to make sure they did not damage the yard. I plan to call them for other tree needs in the future. read more

For the health of the trees AND because of the overgrowth that was advancing into our neighbors yard, we had Vidito Tree Service trim our (3) backyard trees. From my initial call to request a quote until the work was completed, I found them to be nothing but professional, responsive and AFFORDABLE. As the work would involve being in my neighbors yard, I was quite concerned about coordinating a time that would work for all of us - A crew of about 5 showed up at the scheduled time & efficiently performed the work including a spotless cleanup. They were respectful of social distancing while at the same time being communicative. I wouldn't hesitate to call use them again! read more

I worked with Benny at Vidito Tree Experts and was so impressed with his friendliness, professionalism and honesty that I felt compelled to write this review. It was always a pleasure to speak with Benny who was genuinely sincere about doing a great job at a very fair price. In my particular case, I was looking to remove a tree and Benny provided me with not only competitive pricing for that job, but also was sincerely interested in making sure that I had the information at hand to make the best informed decision about which new tree to plant in its place. In short, I feel Benny is a trustworthy person to work with who truly enjoys what he does, and his enthusiasm and pride in his work shines through in each and every conversation I had with him! read more

Can't say enough good things about these guys. I got 3 quotes and they were the best by far. They came out and took down 3 cottonwood trees that were 60 feet tall. Between two houses and power lines. All of the crew were extremely nice and friendly. They were even great in letting my two year old check out their trucks. That goes a long way. The guys cared more about my grass than I did, laying plywood for the trucks and pulling any divots out after. A crane had to come in a few days later to pick up the logs and they came back after and cleaned up the yard again! Can not recommend them enough. Thanks guys! read more

Excellent service. I was putting off taking an ugly tree down for a while. I was afraid of the cost and the mess. I finally had this tree service come out. They gave a prompt written estimate. When I called to schedule, they came out the next day and took the tree down. They cleaned up very well, and the price was the most competitive. When I need a tree service again, I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

This is the second time we have used the fine folks at Vidito Tree Experts to deal with tree problems. This time it was a very old (100+ years) oak tree and to trim a number of widow-makers from above our deck. We have extensive gardens and called Vidito because we knew they would take great care to not damage our plantings and would do a good job a clean-up. Their unofficial motto is to do the job as if it was Grandma's house. The oak tree was overhanging the garage and the house. They brought in a boom truck and took it down piece by piece without letting anything drop and cause damage to the roofs or the driveway. A second boom truck came in over the gardens into the back yard to trim above the deck. Again, no damage to the gardens or the lawn and they picked up every branch, twig and leaf. These really are people who care about doing a professional job with respect for their customers. read more

The workers are horrible. I was trying to get home one day and their truck stopped right in front of it, I gave them a minute to figure out where they were going then tapped my horn so they would notice me. Instead of getting out of the way and moving to the side, he turns and goes into the middle of the road so I can get into my house then proceeds to get out of his truck to come at me yelling. All I wanted was to get into my driveway, I didn't ask for an angry old man to come at me. read more

By far the best people to take down your tree! Great people to work with! Phenomenal service and great prices!

The team at Vidito did a fantastic job. Great price. Great work. I am doing a home renovation and need to cut back some big tree limbs. The Vidito team listened to what I was doing and then helped by recommending the best solution (as they are the tree pros, not me). They were also very respectful for my neighbors property and fence to ensure nothing was damaged during the service. Lastly they cleaned up the entire yard leaving it better than how it was originally. I would highly recommend Vidito for any of your tree needs... read more

We had a huge cottonwood tree in our back yard that needed to be removed. They came out twice to discuss what it would take to remove the tree and how much it would cost. Then the people that quoted actually came out and did the work! (a novel idea) It played out just the way they described. They left the yard in immaculate condition when done. And were extremely careful about other trees and plants in the yard. Completely agree with Jeff S review on all of the details, including helping to spread the mulch. Vidito's is hands down the best free service in our area! In the last wind storm we had, a tree fell on my parents' home and we needed an economical, profession company to help. They came to the house within a matter of hours and had the entire tree and debris removed by the next morning. Their price was fair and they couldn't have been more helpful!
