Matt and his crew are top notch! They helped me out a few years ago with a flowering pear that was really close to the house that was severely compromised in a windstorm. They took down what remained of the tree and ground the stump without doing any damage to the house or the yard. Last week we had them back out to take out three 25-foot high black cherry trees that had died and were all very close to a fence and several other tall locust trees. They brought all three trees down without doing any damage to the fence or the surrounding trees in just a few hours. They do great work, and are extremely reasonable. We contacted Illinois Tree Services because our tree branches needed to be trimmed around our roof to prevent squirrels damaging our roof. Matt called me back the same day, and gave me a very fairly priced quote. I had contacted another company and their quote was about $100 more expensive. Honest and reputable. We had to clear out some land and there were a couple of tree stumps that could not be removed at the time due to remnants of an old fence. I needed stumps removed, tree limbs that reached over my home trimmed back, and a tree that had fallen, part of it into a river, removed. I received quotes from Illinois Tree Service and a few of their competitors. Illinois Tree service had the best quote so I went with them. They arrived right on time the day the work was scheduled. With a crew of 7 they immediately got to work. A majority of the work that need to be done was where my property has at least a 30 degree incline / banking but that did not slow them down. They worked nonstop and within a few hours had most of the work completed. The thing that impressed me the most was their willingness to get the part of the tree that was in the river pulled out. Illinois Tree Service completed all the work I requested and did a very nice job cleaning and sweeping up all the debris generated from their work.
