After only 5 years a wall was buckling and that area of the floor was sinking. They quickly diagnosed that this was due to insufficient drainage. The recommendation was to rebuild the wall, add drainage and level the flooring. Other contractors wanted to basically rebuild the entire patio which would have been overkill. They right sized my project and priced their work fairly. My kitchen overlooks the area they were working. So throughout the day I could see their diligence and attention to detail. I hired this company to install a proper drainage system for my sump pump, expecting a permanent solution. Unfortunately, that's not what I got. They came out and installed PVC piping, but didn't pitch it correctly, and they didn't build out a dry well or any kind of proper outlet. The line froze over the winter and water backed up alongside my house--exactly the issue I was trying to avoid by hiring professionals. Their "fix"? They came back and laid a black hose across my lawn, which is exactly what I had before paying them. I was told they'd return in the spring to install a permanent solution. It's now well into the season, and I've followed up multiple times with no response--calls and messages completely ignored. I'm extremely disappointed. I wish I could give them more stars, but even paying them has become complicated. They do not send or compile a bill, and will mow your lawn more than it needs, and you may not even know it and end up with a HUGE bill you had no idea was coming. They have good intentions and were hoping they were going to be a service I could count on, but over and over, I am disappointed and overcharged. In the past they have pulled up seed started perennials (that was soul crushing, I assumed they knew what was a perrnial plant vs. a weed so over a years worth of getting plants started and growing was ripped away while I was at work and believed they knew what they were doing during a yard clean up, then they laid sod way to early on top of snow (they said it would be fine to my husband) they ened up having to patch it up with mix matched sod, and in the end it all died and now i have a backyard full of weeds. They tried to sell power washing services earlier this spring, so honestly, it seems like they have no direction or are dabbling in services that they are not qualified for, i.e. drainage work. I would not trust them with that. You need a professional who knows what they are doing. The yard clean up I just had done was fine, I am sure they removed perrenials but didn't have to time to micro manage the guy/s. And they are WAY WAY over priced - if they continue to provide mediocore service and charge outragous prices, they will be pricing themselves out of business. There is not enough good things I can say about Julio's and their work! My husband and I bought a home last year which ended up having a lot of yard drainage issues. On top of the yard drainage issues, we have a well water system which requires a lot of filters, and those filters have to empty out everyday into our yard. Those issues combined were causing us a lot of stress and a really wet yard. Julio's responded in less than 24 hours to my online inquiry, and Domingo came out to see the yard and provide a quote in less than 48 hours. EXTREMELY QUICK! In less than a week the crew was here working on our water issues - and they honestly killed it! Our front yard lake is gone (woohoo) and the sump pump and filters now empty out through a french drain.
