Buyer Beware!! Read this company's many bad reviews before shopping here. This review is long…read moreoverdue. I bought a used 2003 jaguar x type 2.5 l from them in November of 2022. Body looked great but that was just about it as I soon discovered. First thing was driver's seat wouldn't raise or lower so they kept the car for 2 weeks on the pretext of fixing it. Little did I know the real reason they didn't want me driving it back to Nevada that day was because 1) I would have had to fill the gas tank and seen that the tank level sensors weren't working as would only register between empty or 1/2 full, 2) the car would have overheated as radiator wasn't functional , Ac condenser bad which I would have discovered on way back to Nevada if I even made it that far- and would have returned the car that day before the check cleared. On delivery 2 weeks later after being unloaded from car shipping trailer- the battery was dead and had to be replaced. The gas tank registered empty and when I filled it- it only came up to 1/2 full. Repairs needed immediately- radiator, AC condenser, gas tank had to be removed to replace sensors, rough ride so new shocks then discovered it was the bushing ends that needed repair. New tires as tires bad and new headlights as likewise bad. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. 11k spent on repairs but final insult recently was when instrument cluster failed and I had to pay 2500 for a new cluster and to have it cloned to old one. Suddenly an air bag light was present- the shop discovered a piece of paper in the old cluster when they pulled it that was covering the air bag warning light explaining why I suddenly had an air bag light showing with the new cluster. Don't know if El Vista did that or they bought the car at auction that way but I do know they knew all the other mentioned things were bad as had the car 2 weeks going over everything so were aware of all the issues. Also they never fixed the seat which they used as a reason to prevent me driving the car home that day.. Very sketchy auto sales. Don't buy from them. I'm now in process of getting air bag issue fixed after already putting in $13, 500 into car for repairs to date and that was not counting the initial $6,995 cost to purchase car. See photos of car on purchase with their El Vista tags on it. They have already removed my review once but I will continue to keep putting it back on to warn others.

Buckle up, this will be a good one…read more We have been entertaining the idea of a van to convert to a rec vehicle. Through CarGurus we found a van that was located at Devine Auto. I googled Devine Auto and checked out what reviews had to say. After doing our homework we decided we wanted to check out this 2014 Ram Promaster. Their website has an option to text a question, I sent a message inquiring on who they use for financing and what rates are. Anthony texted back within an hour and let me know they have a few different credit unions they use. He also followed up with a call (we weren't able to connect,) but appreciate the effort. Fast forward to the next day, we were in Modesto for an appointment. Started early and walked in as soon as they opened and were warmly greeted by Elvis. He was able to show us the van and we both were able to drive it. Upon return we started the purchase process, sat down with Mike. We gave Mike a price out the door we were comfortable with and he made it happen. Also used his financing after checking with my bank. We left for our appointment and then came back to complete the paperwork and drove home in our new to us preloved Promaster. We had a few issues we found and called Mike. He was quick to get the van back and correct the issues with no question. We also purchased a warranty with the van being 10 years old. We had an amazing experience at Devine Auto. I am not sure when we will need to buy again, but Devine will be our first stop. Mike, Elvis, Anthony, Roy... all of them were like old friends and the vibe was so comfortable. I would recommend Devine Auto to anyone looking for a vehicle!

The customer parking was a bit off to the side in a rocky area but I'm guessing it's because they just have a massive amount of cars in their inventory When we talked to some of the staff we quickly were able to test drive a 2019 Subaru Outback that we were looking for which was awesome. They pulled it up for us and gave us a map that showed you where all you go for your test drive. The test drive is really just a giant circle around the block which has varying speed limits so it's a bit short but also just enough to get a feel for the car. I also appreciate that they don't feel the need to sit in the car with you so you can just focus on the test drive. We told them we were interested in the car but there were a weird issue where the window control panel on the driver side only was able to roll up/down the driver window but none of the others. They said they would immediately take It over to get it fixed and did just that. The prices are non-negotiable which we'd read online but the cars they have in their inventory are actually in really great condition. They all had brand new tires, cleaned thoroughly inside and out, and they repair any issues that previous owners didn't want to. They defintiely put time, money, and labor into each of the cars and when you compare across other dealerships, Robert's Auto cars are in better condition. When we were talking through the price they were immediately able to show us what the costs were out-the-door with the exact breakdown of fees which there are no "surprise fees". They only charged for what was required (title/taxes/registration) and THAT IS IT. We told them we'd come back with a cashiers check and did exactly that in 30 mins. We spent maybe an extra 25 mins to sign paper work and by that time the driver side window control panel was fixed and they had prepped/washed/polished the car inside and out which was awesome. In total we spent maybe 2 hours from when we first pulled in, to where we drove off with the car and I really appreciated how transparent and chill the staff was. Cons: My only incredibly minor complaint/observation was that none of the cars that I saw have floor mats. Which is more odd than anything. If I see I car I want there in the future, I would definitely drive the 4 hours back just because I know exactly what I'm going to get. I'd highly recommend their team! We're all human and miss things but the difference is that they're willing to pay out of pocket to get it fixed before you drive off and even give you 5 days to bring it back (I think) and a 30 day dealer warranty. If the car you want has CarPlay then make sure you bring a USB cable Here's a list of things I like to check: Lights: turn signals, hazards, high and low beams, fog lights Interior: speakers (check to make sure none of them are blown out), all seat controls on driver and passenger side. Make sure they can move forward/back/up/down/etc. Check seat heaters, check the AC works, check window wipers/+rear, check that all of the window controls on all of the doors, check the back up camera. When test driving: check the blind spot detection indicators Overall, 10/10 car dealership!

I greatly appreciate finding a car that suits me and my needs here and recommend this to anyone who needs a used car. Sometimes the communication can be a little lacking though, which can be frustrating. Also the prices, they can't be beat for the quality of cars they have compared to a traditional dealership.

I'm toward the end of the Volkswagen "Clean Diesel" emissions control mess and I'm going to need a…read morereplacement. Since these two lots supposedly belong to the same people as the Volkswagen dealer, it will be convenient to return the car to the VW dealer and shop the two lots. I spent some time at the lot next to the VW/Hyundai dealer and no one came to see me. That's odd. I've been to car lots where I would only be halfway out of my car and someone would be there to greet me. In any case, prices are clearly marked. Some of the cars are previous rentals, so they should have had all scheduled maintenance. They list which cars were rentals on the web site but not on the price listing. The other lot, next to the Nissan and Dodge dealers is somewhat mixed with the new vehicles and it's a bit confusing what is used (excuse me, pre-owned) and what is new. On a previous visit, a salesperson was quite helpful. This time, a salesperson stared a me, as if to figure out whether I had money or not, and then, went about his business without a word to me. I really don't want to buy a car now, but the mess is forcing this. If the sales people don't want to bother, what incentive do I have to shop there?
