Avoid this place at all costs. I was in a bind with very limited time and had to purchase a vehicle to get down to Southern California to attend to urgent matters. So I made the mistake of trusting this place without doing my research or having the vehicle checked. Huge mistake. They sold me a defective vehicle that didn't even make it down there and when I talked to the owner who said his name is "Patrick" he basically told me to F off and if I wanted it fixed he would charge me full price for repairs. $6k in repairs the vehicle needed. Where do I start... I bought a car in September of 2023 and by December 2023 the first problem occurred. An error message to turn off the hybrid engine as it went over the Altamont I took it into the Hyundai dealership as I thought it was under warranty well apparently as a second owner the warranty is only good for 60,000 miles. Luckily I was at 59,000 Well, they had to replace the catalytic converter we thought oh wow we got lucky. Then in May 2024 the car started not shifting. Take it in again and turns out it's this huge issue with the shifter that is going to cost $9,000 to fix out of pocket because the car is no longer covered under warranty. Then they tell us that the radiator, the AC under the car are also damaged (this is separate of the $9,000) We bought the car in September of 2023 less than 7 months and over $10,000 in damages. Please, please, please go somewhere else to buy your used cars. Don't be like us. Don't get robbed of your money. This business should be ashamed that it is selling cars to families that are damaged and full of problems. read more

I had to remove my review in order for them to fix the car. Oct 25, 2017 I got a call car is done and so I picked up the car. Oct 27, 2017 1:21pm check engine light popped up AGAIN and had to drop off the car again. Nov 5th picked up car and ask what did they fix and ask for a work order. No work order was given to me or a reply back! (Very unorganized, bad customer service, and gives runaround BIG TIME) ***Nov 13th check engine popped up again!!!*** ***Nov 14th VSA light and traction Caution light popped up!!! ***Had to take it to a different place to fix these issues and got the job done correctly this time AND FOUND OUT the Alignments are off too. I contacted Yelp customer service support and was told NOT TO remove my review because this is an honest review and I should stand by it and it's protected by the second amendment!!! They did not comply with their contract warranty . Stupid place to get a car. They rip u off and sell u car that is messed up. First day I took the car home it didn't start after turning engine off. Then they take it to fix but just put an old part in. Car gets messed up again same week then they clear the code but code pop back up again the next day. They say they can't fix nothing unless we pay but they shouldn't have sold a car that was never even checked out. Car ran nice when it was test driven and everything seems legit. Owner claims he checks everything out before putting it in the lot but it's just a scam.tried to trade it in but he said nothing he can do about it. DO NOT COME HERE!!! They sell cars with issues and try to convince you that they are fine, I bought a car here drove off the lot on my way to work a bunch of things started happening , the gas light wasn't marketing, the shifter was getting stuck. I took it straight I Kia they took a look at it and said there was issues with the computer that it would be like a $2,000 fix. My contract stated I had 2 days to return I took it back to them Patrick then told me I have 48 hours to return and took my contract away from me to look for where it said that in there and of course it didn't say it on there. He would not give me back the contract. The restocking fee was 350 in the contract he began to tell me he's gunna charge me 550 I was to angry but if I could go back I would have called the cops because he stole from me. Then he ran my card to "refund" $2,000 he was trying to be sneaky and I caught him he actually charged me an additional $2'000 then he noticed I seen he did that and then he went on to say it was a mistake. If I could give 0 stars I would fuck this place they are unethical and I will be reporting them the county and the BBB and I hope there license gets revoked. DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

I was blessed. I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle here. I did a pre-purchase inspection at 11 am and the inspector found some things that made it illegal for them to sell the vehicle to me under California law. The inspector notified the company that they needed to fix these items. He is mandated by law to share certian findings. They were upset. I went to follow up on the vehicle the same day to request for those things to be fixed and by the time I arrived they said the vehicle had been sold. I was super HAPPY for me. I was really SAD for whoever purchased the vehicle. It was a 2018 Nissan NV2500. I hope that person is okay. I worked with Tarik who made me wait for 3 days, after test driving the vehicle before I could get the pre-purchase inspection and move forward with the purchase. I would avoid him. He said he was off work and we couldn't work with any other person on the lot. In that amount of time someone else was able to purchase the vehicle. Which I am happy about, but also sad for them that they have a dangerous vehicle on the road. read more

These guys were great! I had been searching all over for the Honda I want. Went to a bunch of dealers and could feel the dishonesty and felt so unsettled everywhere I went. I am from Northern CA and came down to Sac to shop and then was searching the area and found the car I wanted at Star Auto Sales and I contacted them and they worked with my budget and also put on some new tires! After test driving it the tire pressure light came on because the new tires and they immediately had their mechanic come check it out after hours before I took it off the lot. They said that if it was a bad tire sensor they would be glad to reimburse me the amount that they would pay to be able to get it replaced but that wasn't needed! I had a great experience with them and they are friendly and not out to get you like other dealerships. Refreshing to not have your guard up just to look for a car. Worth the 3.5hr drive!
