Perfect example of Miami pastries. This place is amazing, you can't beat the prices or the friendliness of the staff. It's packged for you in a large box and looks beautiful with the whip they decorate it with, however It's too flat and leaves much to be desired. I have eaten food from Vicky bakery many times but never at this location. My mother in Law and I decided to drop in since we saw it in the plaza while we were visiting another store. I have always loved pastries from Vicky bakery but this location was not impressive. We ordered a large amount of pastries and empanadas to bring home to our family. The guava pastries and croquetas were not bad. However, the empanadas were terrible! They were old, hard and had barely any meat in them, what a disappointment since that was what I was looking forward to enjoying. We live far so I didn't bother returning to get my money back. They also did not have clear instructions of how to enter, where to wait and how to pay. People were all over the place, they had people passing by us so close we could touch shoulders. That is not how to social distance. They were unorganized and not trained in how to address one customer at a time. I would have been more than happy to wait longer for my health and safety. It was probably the best pan con bistec I've had in a while. However, our server, Julie was super unpleasant. She had an attitude the entire time she was serving us.
