So while famished and craving some comfort food, I went driving around and found this Latin-owned bakery in the heart of Hialeah. The service was on point and very pleasant. The treats I purchased were fresh! They were a stuffed potato ball (beef), two guava, and two cream cheese & guava pastries. Everything was flaky, creamy, gooey, and fresh; with that authentic taste that I can never get from the bakery case at my local big box grocery store! I found them the day before Thanksgiving so it was very busy with customers picking up their pre-ordered meals & treats, but you wouldn't know it by the way they checked out each and everyone there. We were on a late night wild goose chase for a large plain white bakery to-go box for a project our daughter had to turn in at school the following morning. We went here because they are open 24 hours and their boxes are the plain white ones that are not branded (exactly what we needed). We explained to the lady at the counter how we were all out of options and would really appreciate if she could help us. We offered to purchase the box (name your price) and even tried to purchase a dozen pastelitos de guayaba to get the box. She kept saying that she could not help us. We even asked how many pastelitos we have to purchase to earn a box and her answer was that the box is not for pastelitos. There was no reasoning with her. She said the only way we are getting the box is if we buy a $50 cake. I cannot put into words how frustrated we were as we left with no solution for our daughter and she will just have to deal with the bad grade this time. I have an account with Restaurant depot and I know that regardless of size these boxes don't cost more than one dollar each. I don't think that the customer is always right but I do think that no matter how unhappy you are at your job at the end of the day we are people before we are a potential customer and we can't forget how to treat people. I told her i don't eat pork and ham is cured pork and she literally said i didn't know that. How can you not know that. I woke up early craving a chicken empanada. I went around 7 a.m. there were 4 women there all assisting just 1 person or chatting in between while getting her order. I was standing there for literally over 10 minutes. My husband wanted a chicken empanada too so I wanted to also try with ground beef. They finally assisted me when someone else came in over 10 minutes later. I guess he's a regular cause they were getting his order at the same time they were getting mines. I go to Hialeah once a month to go to see my doctor and I always stop by Finale Bakery and the girl gave me my order and the red head lady who was being the cashier was taking other people in front of me because they spoke Spanish and a man told her that she was being rude and that I was before him and he told her in Spanish that she needs to learn how to speak English since she was in the USA. So what happens when your go to bakery closes at 6pm? You end up at this place and and only because it's literally open 24 hours and conveniently located to home. Went in to grab two loaves of bread as I was feeling the whole Cuban sandwich night and I have to say it was a real disappointment. Walked in and asked for two loaves and was handed two baseball bats. I asked what the deal was with the bread and the response in Spanish was that the bread warmer was broken and it either over bakes the bread or doesn't warm it at all. Wow that's great! I proceeded to buy some other midnight sandwich bread that they had there because I definitely wasn't gonna take this home. All meanwhile I assume is the owner son or someone close to the owner maybe the owner himself was behind the counter just being a real jerk. Customer service was horrible and their selection wasn't all that great. So if you're in dire need you're probably better off going to the Publix a couple blocks down buying some of their generic Cuban bread at least it's warm and you'll get service with a smile. read more

There is indoor seating if you want to eat in and the bakery offers breakfast and lunch specials as well. I would give it 5 stars if the service was a bit quicker. There are plenty of cuban bakerys in Hialeah and this one has potential but service needs improvement. There is plenty of parking outside. They have a dining area with nice wooden tables. I liked that they had a tv inside its a techy nice addition and brings up the decor value. The employees looked like they were arguing with each other and customers aswell. They offer cakes, guava pastries, meat pastries, cheese pastries, croquettes and more. They offer party trays of the pastries and croquettes for 8$. They also sell pork shoulders (lechon) all cooked and ready to eat. If you need that Hialeah cuban coffee you can get it here. They also carry latin sodas iron beer, materva and jupina. I hope this place gets it together because you can never have too many great bakerys in Hialeah. read more

I only leave 1 star because the food is actually decent. But I'm standing here writing this review and it has been 45 minutes waiting for 2 coffee and and 2 pan con tortilla !!! The main employee here short lady with black hair is also the rudest lady I've ever encountered she's get mad at me because I've had to wait almost an hour at this point for 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches insaneeee. Come here with an hour to spare. Ordered at 9:08 left at 9:59 . This place can be loud at moments, and usually has a bit of a wait for service. Everything made there is fresh, and many times you may have to wait for croquettes or empanadas to be fried for you due to the incredible turnover they have. The prices are reasonable, although at $1.25 for a colada and .80 cents a croquette. If you bring a healthy appetite it may be a better option to order a sandwich there. They also do traditional Cuban food catering that is reasonably priced and yummy. It's open 24 hours, great if you find yourself in need of a caffeine boost late night. Ok. The place looks amazing. From the outside looking in. The presentation is inviting, now, come in and the story changes. The long line due to poor team work makes the waiting time too long and my patience to run short. The waiting time (arrived at 11:45am) between the line and food intake took more than 30 Minutes. The coordination between employees are not in-zinc. The tables were unattended and we had to clean them ourselves. The food quality was average for the amount of time spent waiting in line, paying and actually consuming the food. Price also played a factor for this review. $16 dollars for an average 2 people regular breakfast was expensive. I'm sorry to say I'll never come back here. I'm just being honest! read more

I order and they give me the first half of the order first.. they got it wrong and gave me the wrong pastel and then the lady gave me attitude when I told her it was wrong. Then the second half of the order takes forever, mind you we were the only ones in there until someone else came in.
