Amazing place. Biscuits are huge and delicious. The coffee is very good and refills are free. It is self serve on the coffee. Please be considerate and do not cut the line to hold a table. Wait in line like everyone else. That being said, the line moves quickly and the food comes out really fast. Portions are very generous so if you go away hungry it is your own fault. I would advise you to get there early to avoid the line because it gets really long after 0900. We went on a Sunday at when we left at 1030 the line was 40 feet out the door waiting to get in. Legit my fav place to eat. Something about those biscuits makes me go wild. I think this place has been around for about a year now and it's already one of Charleston's hot spots. One of my all time favorite breakfast joints. I had the flamethrower and it was amazing for brunch. I also recommend the signature Bloody Mary. It was one of the best I've ever had... pleasantly spiced and flavorful! The sausage gravy was pretty good but the maple sausage made it a little sweet for me. I just prefer a more savory one personally. In any case, the place is delicious and I look forward to trying more in the future!! read more

We happened upon this place this morning and couldn't have been more pleased. Delicious and quick service, very friendly, and accommodating when I kept realizing I hadn't ordered enough food for all the kids. We had the old fashioned breakfasts and the kids breakfasts. I came here to eat after a workout and I was very hungry. I surely was not disappointed with the portions of this meal. The flavor and quality of the food was 5 out of 5. There was a bit of wait while I was there but it was also brunch hour on a Saturday. I tried some of my friends meals as well and thought they all tasted very good. The meals were all hot and fresh. So glad we stopped here on our way from downtown to IOP. Lines were long but they went quick. They have plenty of outdoor seating under a tent to accommodate for covid. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and found this place within a mile of our hotel. We love a good Sunday brunch and this place was amazing. Not only were the portion sizes big enough that we took some home for later, but the service and staff were also outstanding. You have to go in and check out their orange juice machine. It's worth a trip just for that. Get a cuppa coffee and a biscuit and attack their topping bar. Finally found a place worthy of Diners Drive Inns and Dives, to start I had a Bloody Mary with an olive, okra and piece candied bacon. Then I had a what they called a Flame Thrower, a "cheddar and jalapeño buttermilk biscuit, spicy all natural antibiotic-free crispy chicken breast, white white cheddar, spicy remoulade, Vicious thick-cut bacon, house made cowboy candy". It was all very good and well worth the price, we will be back. Ordering was done by walking up and placing your order, then given a number so they could bring it to your table, so if you want another drink you need to go up and order it then wait back at your table, not like waitress/waiter service but it was quick. read more

This is truly the best biscuits in Charleston as they are fluffy and authentically made using a traditional way of baking. The owner and staff are as pleasant as can be and I think all the other biscuit makers better step up their game in town because Vicious Biscuits know how to make a Carolina pure biscuit. I must preface this by stating that I'm not a huge fan of southern food in general and fried food specifically, but I adore biscuits. These biscuits are indeed viciously good. The ordering process is very straightforward. Line up down the center of the space, order at the counter, get your number and grab a seat. Indoor tables, plus bar seating, along with outdoor, dog friendly seating. The line moves very quickly. Our drinks were brought to our table before I even got there. Efficient! Left of the registers is self serve coffee, butters (sweet potato butter!), deliciously fresh jams. Our food arrived quickly. Hubby got The Flame Thrower which had a solid kick to it. Washed it down with a tasty bloody and was a happy guy. The oj is freshly squeezed and super. I got the Crab Benedict. It was put together with good flavors, but the poached eggs were a little shy of being properly cooked. Both of us felt that we'd definitely come back, but probably won't go for the big meals again. We popped in for brunch on Christmas Eve, shortly after the grand opening and were immediately impressed with the extensive menu - narrowing it down to a single entree choice was a major challenge! I went with The Bird & The Belgian which was a delicious choice, sweet potato waffle paired with a succulent fried chicken breast. My fellow diners enjoyed The Fat Boy and The Flame Thrower - everyone was super satisfied. Love the fast-casual, counter ordering style. The food was good! The gravy was sweeter than I was expecting and was different than traditional southern style gravy I'm used to (from TX, we *know* our biscuits and gravy!). There was a line that was out of the door and we had to wait to get to the counter around 20 mins. When I got where I could see the counter, there was only 1 register operating, despite there being at least 10 employees in the front of the restaurant. My excitement quickly turned into annoyance when I realized how much faster we could have moved the line and how inefficient it was. The wait, for no reason, left a bad taste in my mouth. The food was good, but I probably wouldn't come back. Editing after the reply from the business: yes, the menu is "clear" and it wasn't a slight on the gravy.
