I chose this location because they have a disposal box for expired OTC meds and prescriptions. This is good information to have. Like other locations, all the national sales are present here, including BOGOs, and buy one-get one. Since the medication disposal box is by the pharmacy, I was able to hear some interactions, and found the employees to be courteous. At one point an employee even searched for a lower price for the rx for the customer. Someone was told she had to wait, and it was done kindly, presenting options for waiting. I see reviews with the complaints, but on this day, the pharmacy was running fine.

It was correct. The woman said if I put my ZIP Code in wrong one more time, I would not be able to make a purchase. I told her I'm just trying to buy items from your store. Keep in mind, my ZIP Code was correct. I was entering it 100% correctly each time. According to them, my ZIP Code was correct in the system, but in the part that has discount coupons, there was a different ZIP Code in there. I get all my prescriptions here, which are a lot. I'm a senior citizen. I also shop here a lot, and I've never had a problem before as far as my address being wrong. I don't work for Walgreens. I'm sorry Walgreens doesn't understand that I don't work for Walgreens. I cannot program my address in their system. According to both employees, you'd better know the incorrect ZIP Code that they've programmed into their system in the part regarding the coupons, or you will not be allowed to make a purchase after entering your ZIP Code correctly three times. There is no way for a customer to see what ZIP Code they have in there, but the people who work there, the only ones who can fix that, are not responsible. It's the customers who are responsible, and we have no way to fix it. There was no apology at all. Just yelling. And she said, "I hope you feel better." At this Walgreens, when the employees yell at you and tell you your ZIP Code, which is correct, is not, and that you can't buy anything here unless you are able to guess the wrong ZIP Code they have put in, they think any negative reaction to that, any complaint about that, means you don't feel good. All I was trying to do was pay for items by inputting information correctly. I have never experinced or heard of worse customer service in my life. This Walgreens makes it clear they do not want people shopping here at all, which is fine with me.

The pharmacy staff was frankly the best part. The tech was friendly, fast, and confirmed they had all the meds in stock before saying they would fill them. The big thing that caught our attention was in the short time we were there we spotted THREE roaches dead or dying. Shana saw a dying one in the woman's restroom, there was a dead one in the pharmacy waiting area, and finally a dead one in front of the food freezer. There are most likely more but that is gross to see three that obvious. Since we were waiting, Shana grabbed a snickers bar and went to pay at front registers. Normally at every Walgreens it is the big register, with all the stuff behind it that is the one in use. Since the employee was also over there that is where Shana headed. Employee said something to Shana and Shana was surprised and said sorry and went to other register. The employee was not pleasant, took their time getting to the register they sent Shana too and was just not a good experience. I don't claim that you have to like the work but if we were nice, you can try the same. They treated us like we were the biggest bother and they were frowning and upset the whole time. It was a blast. I have worked for Walgreens, I know they are awful but if the customer was nice or at least not a jerk then I could still smile and try and be pleasant. Its not hard normally. Then to treat us like we are dumb for going to the register you were working behind. Just not great. Walgreens doesn't care about the reviews or its employees but hopefully this helps people try and avoid this store. The second star is purely for the pharmacy staff.
