We came here to pick up some scripts I recently had to get. It looked fine walking in, the Photo lab was weirdly dark even though most of the employees were over there. The pharmacy staff was frankly the best part. The tech was friendly, fast, and confirmed they had all the meds in stock before saying they would fill them. The big thing that caught our attention was in the short time we were there we spotted THREE roaches dead or dying. Shana saw a dying one in the woman's restroom, there was a dead one in the pharmacy waiting area, and finally a dead one in front of the food freezer. There are most likely more but that is gross to see three that obvious. Since we were waiting, Shana grabbed a snickers bar and went to pay at front registers. Normally at every Walgreens it is the big register, with all the stuff behind it that is the one in use. Since the employee was also over there that is where Shana headed. Employee said something to Shana and Shana was surprised and said sorry and went to other register. The employee was not pleasant, took their time getting to the register they sent Shana too and was just not a good experience. I don't claim that you have to like the work but if we were nice, you can try the same. They treated us like we were the biggest bother and they were frowning and upset the whole time. It was a blast. I have worked for Walgreens, I know they are awful but if the customer was nice or at least not a jerk then I could still smile and try and be pleasant. Its not hard normally. Then to treat us like we are dumb for going to the register you were working behind. Just not great. Walgreens doesn't care about the reviews or its employees but hopefully this helps people try and avoid this store. The second star is purely for the pharmacy staff. read more

Don't trust the pharmacy at a Walgreens. They are always understaffed and overworked. I have received the wrong prescriptions and wrong doses in the past. Their scrips always have something wrong and are often incorrect nor are they ready when they are suppose to be. I cannot say I am a happy customer because that would be a stretch! The problem is that almost all the other chains are operating exactly the same way. read more

The store clerks and managers are top notch even if the system is completely inane at dealing with its own coupons and reimbursement cards. These guys and gals went the extra mile to get me the discounts promised on the walgreens-issued coupons, even if the computer was not excited about it. Kudos guys, I'll be back! read more

Have mostly received good Pharmacy service, until recently. A new pharmacy trainee named Teresa, is very unhelpful and seems more than happy to do the bare minimum when assisting customers. Over the phone with me she got my insurance coverage wrong from not asking enough questions the 1st time. Then called me back to correct it & waste more of my time. Don't expect any "thank you's" "sirs", ma'am" or even a "goodbye" when speaking to her. Then, when my grandma went to pickup her meds, she refused to provide them for her unless my grandma pronounced the name of the medication perfectly... beyond rude. We've been customers at this location for my whole life, so it's sad to see the pharmacy lower expectations for how workers treat their customers so suddenly. read more

If you want a pharmacy that fills prescriptions on any reasonable time schedule, DO NOT COME HERE...They are incompetent, to say the least. They are understaffed, overworked and just honestly don't seem to care about any level of customer service whatsoever. They are constantly behind on filling prescriptions, despite showing they are being filled. Ninety percent of the time, I'm forced to physically go into the pharmacy numerous times, to make sure they actually ordered my prescription into the store. I've run out of important medications numerous times despite giving them plenty of time to refill the medications. read more

Jackson works in the pharmacy at store#4836, 11810 Ranch Road 620, Austin, TX 79750. I want to commend this young man for his actions - above and beyond. We were trying to get a new rx filled for my Mom and the insurance computers were down. He called me about 5:45pm to tell me they were still down and it would be tomorrow before the medicine was filled. He then called back 10 min later(right before they closed) to tell me he had tried again and was successful. He then said he would run the rx over to my Mom's assisted living facility across the street. This young man was exceptionally kind, helpful and professional! Give him a raise! read more

I have never reviewed a drug store. But I was happy to meet Dexter and his cohort yesterday as they were on their way for their grooming at Petsmart. I am glad that there are so many places that let you take dogs into a store. Because no dog should be left in a car. The clerks here are really nice too. read more

"HELP!!!! Walgreen's is holding me hostage!" That's what I wrote on my iPhone during more optimistic times... When I still believed in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and social security benefits for my generation. Ok, ok, I wrote that like 30 minutes ago. There were about 150 more words here filled with bargaining, pleading, and acceptance, but they've gone the way of the delete key--for this new and improved review: Now, I don't expect a lot from Walgreen's. It's a massive pharmacy that everyone, including that purple haired elderly lady with the purse dog, uses. And if you go during rush hour, you're bound to wait a little longer than usual. I was prepared. I made my doctor call in the prescription, and I would just go pick it up. Sounds simple in theory. The dark, dodgy reality of it is that this particular Walgreen's took it, sat on it, and didn't "start" on it until I walked in and went "Hi, my doctor called in a prescription for me." I was told 10 minutes, so I decided to stay and wait instead of leave. Big mistake. 20 minutes later, I'm told "Oh, it's on the computer to be worked on now." I don't know what that means, but it seemed to imply that I'd have my magical pills in 5 minutes. We're not talking some fancy compound that the pharmacist has to pull out a mortar and pestle for; it's an extremely common pre-measured pack of pills. 15 minutes later, my first Yelp review composed and saved, I walk up and huff "Where are we at?" As it turns out, the pharmacist then decides to look at it and announces a bunch of insurance hooey, and the end of the story is that I probably won't be getting my pills. Thanks bastard medical insurance! Thanks pharmacist for not calling me over sooner! That tore it for me. I decided right then and there that I was done with Walgreen's, and I walked out without filling the prescription. There are at least 6 pharmacies within a five mile radius of my house. Surely, one of them is competent enough to fill my prescription for me and at least call me to the counter to spare me 40 minutes of my life when my insurance decides to jerk me around. read more

Tabitha in the pharmacy is an absolute life saver. She was kind enough to get children's Benadryl and a bottle of water for me through the drive through so I didn't have to take all three kids inside. It's 100F outside and she really made the difference. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Diana the MOD (manager on duty) was unbelivably rude to me. I asked to make 2 transactions (because each transaction has a $$$ limit on the amount allowed at one time) to put money on card and she told me they were 'not allowed to do that'. I then let her know that I had actually spoken to Corporate and they told me it was absolutely possible to do. She told me I was wrong and she would have words with whomever the last MOD was that did it. She then took my ID to verify I was the owner of the card I was loading and proceeded to make several comments about how 'my ID looked nothing like me', "even in the eyes". Yes, ladies... we change our hair color and gain weight over a number of years and somehow bartenders can see the resemblance but all of a sudden she is an expert and trying to cause a scene. She then made comment about how she couldn't find me in the sytem and I had probably not ever done a transaction with them. I told her I had just done it the evening before and actually had the receipt for it still in my wallet and pulled it out to show her. I have called corporate again to file a complaint. They told me they were very sorry this happened and would see to it that her manager was given the details of the situation and told that this should "NEVER happen again". I had to leave the store and go to CVS to process the last of the money and while that does not bother me, the experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I was trying to send money to my daugher so she could pay for daughter to be seen at the minor er and this was added stress that no one should ever be put through when time is of the essence. - I sincerely hope that Diana's General Manager has a moment to look at this. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I dropped of a Rx on Tuesday and went on Friday to pick it up and there was no record of the transfer. So I am without the Rx and no assistance to locate the medication. Terrible customer service. read more

I have been unsatisfied with this Walgreens several times now because of their lack of customer service. Denise (who I was surprised was a lead) has an attitude every time I see her. I went to pick up Christmas cards and she couldn't find them. I noted to her that they were ordered online and shipped but she ignored me. After her telling me they don't see my order a couple of times and me showing them the email that it says they were in she searched for a while. At last she found them! She handed them to me exclaiming that she couldn't find them because they were a ship to store order. Funny, I think I told her that at the beginning of this story. No sorry or thank you just some more attitude. If I wanted a side of attitude with my Christmas cards I would have ordered that too. Not pleased at all with the service I received. Don't think I'll be going there again. read more

I grew up a CVS boy, but I fell in love with it's cousin Walgreens. Yes, the check out line may be longer than the one at the CVS across the street, but it's a busier store. Here's a hint, check for a cashier at the makeup counter. Solid selection and a very friendly staff are what keeps me coming back. read more

I end up here when I'm too lazy to hit HEB for a gallon of milk or birthday card. I use their photo printing which is actually quite good and cheap if you use a coupon. Some employees are just running out the clock and you'll meet some interesting people after hours. read more

We've been coming to this Walgreens for 13 years. The level of customer service we've received from the Pharmacy staff has been above and beyond. I tried to leave once to go to Walmart to save money but the parking, hassle, lack of customer service had me immediately going back. It's worth it to go to Walgreens and I just LOVE all the stuff I can buy there. read more

Not only did the pharmacy have issues with finding my prescription all 4 times I went but when they actually found it it took them 30 minutes to get them ready even thought it was called in 4 hours earlier. About 6 or or people came and went before I did. Just ridiculous. I've never had a problem like this this at cvs. I'm Definitely sticking with cvs not giving Walgreens another try again. read more

Pharmacy has always been consistent and the service, while usually slammed, has been pretty good. Prices are very competitive.

I Used photo center today with their discount coupon. The quality of photos are terrible. It came out different pictures in the 4x6; all of them cut off some part of the pictures. The color is just cheap inkjet print quality and so dark. I'll NEVER use the Walgreen photo center again and will not recommend to anybody. read more

Worst pharmacy on the face of the planet. I have excellent insurance, but every month its a fight with Walgreens losing my insurance information, changing prices for co-pay on the same prescription and just generally being unhelpful. They choose to arbitrarily accept/not accept manufacturers discounts on very expensive prescriptions as well. What I was told today was "Well maybe they were just not paying attention before" If a pharmacy not "not paying attention" to the prescriptions they are filling does not scare you, the I guess this would be the place for you. read more

Do not go to walgreens if you need medicine at least not to this location they ill not refill and deny service...it is a horrible experience...I had to trnsfer my percription to CVS...the police had to have them do it... read more
