I needed to replace my front door lock with a digital lock, and required the services of a locksmith. VG tech came highly recommended. Tech named Dmitry arrived and provided me with fair quote for the service. He had to resize the holes and drill new holes in the door. He also painted the door to make it look brand new. The job was completed quickly and neatly. read more

I recently moved into a new home. The previous owner had a new gate and equipment installed just before I bought the house. Within days of moving in the gate failed but was under warranty. I called the gate company, they came out and made adjustments, but the gate failed days later. It was apparent the new gate was too heavy for the fence posts which caused the gate to sag and threw off the alignment. Since this was the company that installed the gate I knew I would never be happy with their work or company so I fired them. I then found VG Tech. Dmitry and his crew were amazing. They always answered their phone, texted to remind me of appointments, and showed up on time. Dmitry suggested using the gate to save money but replaced both posts and equipment with reliable brands. I have zero complaints. My new gate worked the first time and every time since it was installed 2 months ago. Dmitry has even checked in with me to make sure I am happy with the gate. I highly recommend VG Tech if you want it done right the first time. read more

It's 4 YEARS later... My electric gate is still working like a champ AND doesn't/hasn't leaked acid! Funny that he refers to the batteries I purchased, 4 yrs ago, from Walmart.com, as cheap, as those are same same batteries he installs. read more

Another company recommended VG tech automated gates to replace our current system. Dimitri and Alec were both very patient with me and professional. The install took a couple hours, much shorter than I had anticipated for a job well done. They cleaned up after themselves and our gate no longer sounds like a train passing through. The lift master gate system for our home is wonderful. Thank you for the great service! read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Dmitri to repair the gate for our business. A delivery person threw a large box over the gate which got stuck behind the gate. When we tried to open the gate, the box wedged into the are where the gate recedes and eventually fried the electronics of the gate controller. We called a gate service company we had previously used. When they arrived, they literally inspected the gate for 5 minutes and declared the whole system needed to be replaced. They tried to pressure me into purchasing a new system for $5,800. They claimed the gate controller was so old that it couldn't be fixed. This was a complete lie. I ended up paying for a service call that was more fraud than service. I then called VG-Tech since they were fairly close to our office. He came the next day and had the gates issues diagnosed in literally 30 minutes. We were so happy with the service that we had Dmitri do some long neglected mechanical maintenance on the gate. The next day we had a glitch in the gate and VG-Tech came right over to take care of it. I'm really happy with the whole experience I had with Dmitri. We definitely found the "gate guy" we will use in the future. read more

Our electric gate stopped working, my husband had tried calling a different gate company for almost 2 weeks and the guy kept giving him the "I'll be there this week" but would never show up. After doing this to us for a couple of times I decided to take charge and looked up companies on Yelp. VG Tech was one of the ones that came up and had good reviews. I called on a Friday after business hours, thinking I was about to leave a voice mail but surprisingly Demitri answered. I explained the problem and he said that the earliest he can come out was on Monday. Demitri showed up a little early but that was a huge plus for us. He took a look at the equipment and gave me a very reasonable quote. After I had agreed on the price he started working right away. Demitri's professionalism, and knowledge goes above and beyond! I was super impressed on how fast he was able to fix the gate, set up all the remotes and the gate key pad. I definitely recommend VG Tech!! Make sure to ask for Demitri. read more

So happy I found this company on Yelp. I called around and spoke to a few fence/gate company's to get pricing on a key pad and omron sensor eye. VG Tech was the best price. A few other companies were charging double. I call back and set up appointment with VG to take my job. 8:30 Monday morning and Dimitri shows up. Explains everything to me and complete the job. Excellent customer service. As Dimitri was working he noticed a few wires that had been messed up by a rodent he also fixed. I also noticed on the side of the truck it's stated they do cameras systems and garages. I explain To Dimitri that I had an issue with my garage and would he have a moment to check, and asses what was wrong. Within 30 seconds he adjusted my garage sensor, and the garage is back to working perfectly fine. I would like to thang VG Tech and Dimitri, for great pricing and excellent customer service. Dmitry and Alex hooked us up with a super gate to replace one we had for more than 30 years. I thought we were getting a average gate setup considering the nice price but... wow, this gate setup has so many bells and whistles that there's to many to note! They showed up about 15 minutes before the appointment time and had everything installed and ready to go in about 5 hours. Considering what they had to do to install everything, I was surprised the job was finished so fast. We are very happy we found VG Tech and will certainly go to them again though it might be another 30 years since this system will easily last that long. read more

Our solar-powered automatic gate was installed by another company less than a year ago; and it has been unreliable at best, malfunctioning at the most crucial times - including when I was trying to get my wife to the hospital before sunrise. The original installer replaced the burned-out batteries after three months; and a few months later it stopped working yet again and I had to disconnect the chain drive to manually open and close our gate. I finally called VG Tech to see if they could possibly suss out the problem. Tatyana had their guy out here the next morning, and he had it up and running very quickly! I was hesitant to test if the batteries were holding a charge after dark; but I used the gate at all hours over the past few days, and it seems to be running perfectly! read more

Our surveillance cameras didn't work. I tried to contact V-Tech . The lady Receptionist/owner ? Ms T was very nice and made appointment schedule right away. Mr D checked everything was perfectly installed on our side. Due to a technical issue I asked Mr D to come back and he was able to resolve the issue without charging me extra for the 2nd visit . I'm glad yelp helped me find a good IT for our surveillance cameras! Thank you all V-Tech from Ms T to Mr D. You're awesome! read more

The Problem: Our home gate was having trouble sliding correctly and would get stuck about half way only to swing back shut closed. It was a very annoying and bothersome problem. After about halfway through the slide, it was jump sporadically and we would manually open the gate. The FIX: Right away I called VG-Tech and it was very easy to schedule an appointment with their technician. I was able to schedule it at a time that I desired, the job took about half a day and my gate was working without problems any longer. The Details: Dimitri arrived and he was able to asses the problem within minutes of checking it out. I felt confident right away, he was polite, understanding and professional throughout the entire job. He arrived in a big pickup and came prepared with all the tools needed for the job. He was a hard worker and kept the job site cleaner than when we got here. I really appreciated the extra gesture. VG-Tech also does locksmith jobs for the home which is super convenient just to know that this service can DO IT ALL!! Total time from the moment I called to the moment everything worked perfectly = 3 DAYS. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE. VERY PROMPT. FAIR PRICES. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

My garage door has lasted for about 10 years without problems. Last week the motor for my garage had stopped working altogether. Replacing it myself seemed too much of a task...despite the money I wanted to save. In all fairness, the 4 hours it would've taken me to figure it out would have been a headache. Dimitri came out to take over the process for a fair price in my eyes. He was able to arrive in about 4 hours from the time I called. He didn't require any help. He had all the equipment. He came prepared with a brand new motor. Total installation time was roughly 45 minutes. Surprisingly it was a very clean process, I didn't have to worry about taking care of an old broken motor, everything was replaced and working!! I was happy to give Dimitri a positive review, his humor was a pleasant conversation. THANK YOU VG-TECH! read more

Our gate liked to play a little game called "I'll open when I want and won't when I don't want to" so we would have to kick the side of the box to reset it, all the time... We called and got appointment the next morning!!! He was on time, professional and polite! (He did not judge us when we told him we would constantly kick the gate opener, at least not outwardly) Turned out to be circuit board... They replaced in 40 minutes and threw in extra gate opener (at my request) he also reinforced the whole unit which was loose (most likely from all those kicks) I would recommend this company to anyone!!! They were fast and professional... they also do garage door openers and locksmith service read more

After a search for a reputable contractor to install an automatic gate opener for our wrought iron drive way gate two years ago we settled on VG- Tech. Dmitry was the technician assigned to our project. He arrived on time and did a very professional job. The work is very neat and clean. He also cleaned up the worksite at the end of the job very well. We were extremely pleased with the results. In September this year our daughter hit the gate motor. The impact broke a weld.
