When we agreed on a date/time for him to come and give an on-site quote, he actually came on time, with a sample of turf, ready to go. I appreciate that. Once I got the ok from the boss (wife), he started the job that week and I NEVER HAD TO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM. He would be calling and texting me that he had a question or suggestion due to something we didn't think about at the time. The photos are actually 2 jobs. Job #1 - Backyard - turfed area & side dirt area. This was a HUGE TASK. The area was so un-leveled that we would have pools of water sitting there after a rainy day. It was IMMENSE to backfill the dirt and get everything setup for concrete/turf. These guys made quick work of it AND kept the area tidy after the end of each day. You rarely see that sort of attention and professionalism anymore. Job#2 - Front yard - new privacy plants & clean up After seeing the work Marcos did in the back, I didn't hesitate to start work in the front. It was about 2 or 3 weeks before the boss (wife) approved more funding for the front yard, she was impressed also. Tried to upload the pictures in BEFORE/DURING/AFTER order with Nest cam photos. He only mows the lawn and we have to beg and plead to trim bushes etc......for what we're paying it's just not worth it!!!!!!! I'm paying $100 per visit. just to mow the lawn. Today we were looking for new gardener and I was SHOCKED at all the services that come included in the PRICE! Recently, my family came to visit , the yard was NOTICEABLY poorly cared for . I WAS EMBARRASSED!!! Why? because they failed to mow or tend to the trees and scrubs! He likes, I guess, to come late in the evening so he can't see what he's working on..... it's getting later and later. I am in poor health, yet and still I have to trim and pick up what is CLEARLY BLOWN trash!!! Even when I point out the problem.... Nothing gets done. He's dishonest ( I guess he doesn't realize that I know), his work is substandard and yet he wants to be paid for everything he does! He wrote me a note detailing all FIVE XTRA Things that he's done over a 2 year period! . I'd rather pay and get it done correctly than half done for FREE! If he knew he wasn't going to do a proper job because he wasn't getting paid....... He should have let me make that decision. Since he's NOT an honest man , I could guess at least some of what he wrote to me in response to this .... Is true.....but I've caught him in so many lies.... I know it's NOT. He won't answer texts or phone calls. So if I need something done or have a concern.....I can never get in contact.. UNLESS IT HAS TO DO WITH GETTING HIM PAID. He likes to remind me about that one time he cut down a bush but forget that he's being paid $100 per visit JUST TO MOW THE LAWN! At that time he said it was a " FAVOR" but now he's telling it's something he should have charged me for. My family said they'll be writing a review in the near future! I'm paying more than anyone on the street and getting HALF the service. By the way, he doesn't edge, fertilize or help solve problems that you have. But he can always problem solve when it's time to be paid!

Whenever we would get rain, the water essentially ended up pouring towards our home, which isn't my main concern...but it did cause pooling. My problem is the dips that have been created and loose grass. Again, I was assured that if there was any issue, they would come out and fix it. However, Sixto, the owner keeps ignoring my requests to come check it out. He says he will come, but doesn't respond or call back when you ask when. I am very disappointed because he seemed so nice and eager to get the job done. I really hope he would keep his word and come fix it, before it gets worse.

We went with CST bc Chad was responsive, pricing was reasonable, and he had stellar reviews. I now understand why they are so good. On the day of install his crew showed up and were professional, detailed, and cleaned up after themselves. They took pride in their work and inspected every section of the artificial turf to ensure precise application. Unfortunately we had an issue with our window flare causing problems and this is where Chad really shined. He acknowledged our concerns and went above and beyond to help resolve it. Transparently I was being a bit of a Karen too when the issue happened. Despite this Chad stayed professional, understanding, and was doing everything he could to make sure we were happy. The experience humbled me and reminded me that not everyone is out to take advantage of you. There are still some really honest, kind, and reliable contractors out there. Chad is definitely at the top of this list. I really appreciated that his goal was to do right by us. I will definitely be referring, praising, and telling everyone about CST and Chad. I know our backyard alone will speak volumes with how beautiful it turned out.
