He said they were discontinued and I should try to buy them online at eBay or other sites that sell discontinued tiles - which is what I did. He also gave me a couple pieces of an edging tile gratis that he had in stock that should work for our other bathroom. Me and my husband had a great interaction with the lady who helped us with our tiles. However, when…read moremy contractor went to get the tile and grout that we ordered, they gave them the wrong grout color. I was so upset. My contractor's people already laid down the grout and Floor and Decor wouldn't pay for the labor to redo the grout. Instead they gave us a seal with the correct color to try to make it right. However when my contractor's people put it down, it just didn't have the same effect as grout. Because we couldn't afford the labor for them to redo the grout, we just have to live with the discoloration of the grout. On top of that, the tile that we chose had odd pieces to them that looked stained. You really don't know what things would look like until you purchase it. And of course I wasn't home to supervise their work, because I had a job to go to pay for all the work that didn't turn out the way I expected. Needless to say, I suggest you go to Lowe's or Home Depot for tiles because they actually are a little bit more affordable. Floor and Decor as actually expensive.

No cutting corners and he even explained why he thinks the tiles cracked/came loose. We are so grateful to have found him. He told us that he actually specializes in bathrooms and showers, which is going to be our next project so we will definitely be reaching out to him when we are ready to tackle that. We recently removed a built-in and remodeled our fireplace, so the tiles around that area needed repairing/replacing. Jamen's quote was super reasonable, and once we confirmed the bid, he found us a start date right away. Jamen confirmed that one of his crew would be coming to do the job. His guy - Paolo - came punctually on the agreed upon time, explained the process, and did an awesome job repairing our tile!! Not only did he work quickly and efficiently, but he worked meticulously and made sure not to damage any existing tile. The first day took from about 9-1:30 pm to demo, cut, and set new tile. The second day he came back to do the grout (took less than an hour). Paolo explained that they wanted to make sure the tile was set/dry before grouting so that the grout color didn't blend into wet tileset color (which was white). (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. Luckily my job wasn't too small for him! He came out right away to measure the space and installed 2 days later.
