After 4 years, we got tired of fighting with the weeds and waiting for the ground cover to fill in - so we made the switch to turf. Price wasn't the lowest, but was far from the highest of the quotes we got, and there was no hard sell (unlike a few others). The crew was quick and very courteous, and did a great job of cleaning up everything before they left. They even asked if they could cut a few inches off of a fence door that had been scraping the ground for ages to ensure it cleared the turf cleanly!

They were super helpful, and even for my social media, they helped me make a little video, and the owner even came over to say hi. They loaded everything up in the truck, and I was on my way in no time. They have excellent pricing, great service, and are genuinely kind people. But that alone doesn't make a standout experience worthy of this 5 star rating. For quick context I've worked with at least three dozen contractors over the years for various projects. I've also had experience with a previous turf company when we do the front yard during the pandemic. And I have NEVER had a better experience during the actual service. His team was courteous, clean, professional, started and finished on time, and all the other things you look for. They moved all our garden boxes, disassembled our trampoline and put it back together. The work product was fantastic as you can see by the pictures. But what really made them stand apart was their attention to detail and their work ethic. Everyone on the job was genuinely happy to be there and actively looking for the next thing to do. Near the end of the day I started putting back our patio furniture as they were cleaning up and they stuck around to help me get everything in order. When they were finally done there wasn't a trace that they'd been there other than our beautiful new backyard. Not only wouldn't I hesitate to use them again, I wouldn't choose to work with anyone else.

TLDR at bottom. Jim…read moreand his crew are the real deal. I genuinely won't hire another turf company after working with them. It's incredibly rare for me to give 5-star reviews on Yelp, and even rarer to wish there were bonus stars -- but Jim has absolutely earned them. His team exceeded every expectation, and I'm not easily impressed. Here's why: 1. Best pricing -- hands down. Out of four turf companies I contacted (all highly rated), Jim gave the most competitive quote. Not cut-rate -- just honest, fair, and transparent. 2. Top-tier craftsmanship. The final result speaks for itself. The quality of the turf install was professional and clean -- no shortcuts, no signs of cheap work. And we're very particular with certain things. 3. Unmatched attention to detail. From the gravel to the wood trim to how they cleaned up weeds around our established trees -- nothing was overlooked. Every detail made it clear: Jim and his crew take real pride in their work. 4. The crew? Actually respectful and kind. This part stood out. We've worked with other contractors / teams who barely make eye contact, leave trash behind, and feel transactional. Jim's crew was the exact opposite -- friendly, respectful, and clearly well-treated. They seemed happy to be there, and it showed. Additionally, their cleanup was spotless every day and it was almost weird since we've been so used to the opposite. I know this is starting to sound like a paid testimonial -- but it's not. I wasn't given a discount or asked to write this. I just feel strongly that when a business shows this level of professionalism, integrity, and pride in their work, people NEED to know. TL;DR: I will never hire anyone else for turf work. Jim's team delivers a level of quality and care that's almost impossible to find these days -- all while staying competitively priced. Don't ever retire, Jim!

We opted for the MSI putting turf with fringe pet turf as we have a dog and maintenance would be easier. They were able to get us quickly scheduled and got it done in just one day. They took care of excavating the original grass, digging out a few inches of dirt, covered it with a weed prevention layer, then filled it in with gravel and leveled it out. Then they were able to install our putting green design we discussed with beautiful curved edges. We had a water drain running underneath already and they were able to connect to it to help with water drainage in case of heavy rain. Overall, we absolutely loved the end result and spend so much more time in our backyard practicing our putts and even short chipping from a nearby mat. With less maintenance and noticeably less bugs we even have movie nights here and the turf has held up well. Worth the money and long term investment as we got more usable space for the family with rates below the average costs in LA.

I really couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish. I called as a cold lead just after finding the website, explained my needs, and Olivier came out to meet me, see the main project, brought a ton of samples, and made the perfect recommendation for my needs. He's a great guy, I felt that he cared about the product that he sold me, and he's extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of turf. He communicates very clearly, doesn't waste time (I love that), and delivers what he promises. My two jobs were pretty small, but he treated me like I was a $30k customer. That stood out to me. Fast-forward to implementation of the project and it was more of the same incredible service, attention to detail, easy communication, and full transparency throughout. The crew is a reflection of the company and they became our family for the days that they were here. It was actually sad to see them go and I found myself trying to make up excuses for them to come back lol My space is completely transformed by the work that they did. I am in awe and so so grateful.
