I signed up for the Verizon 5G Home Internet service within the valid promotional window. My claim for the \$200 gift card was unfairly denied with the excuse that my purchase was "not within the time limit." This is simply not true, Verizon's own records show that I did indeed accept their offer within the time frame of the promotion. It feels like Verizon is hoping customers will just roll over and not pursue fulfillment of their promotional offer. Promotions like these are meant to incentivize new customers, however what they are doing is nothing short of deceptive advertising. I expect Verizon to honor their commitment and issue the gift card as promised. I did a Yelp search and inquiry and Dan replied within a few hours. I dropped off my phone to get worked on and when I went back to pick it up he noticed that the screen had been damaged during the battery replacement. Before I could say a word he told me how he was going to replace the screen at no cost. When I told him I was only in town for a short time he made sure to get a replacement screen delivered the next day. Unfortunately the replacement screen was faulty but Dan went above and beyond to complete the job and fully repair my phone that very same day! My husband strongly urged me to get a new battery installed. Sigh. I did my homework and yelp informed me that Springfield iPhone repair was the place to go. I patiently waited until 10 AM this morning to call dan and make sure that he had my vintage battery in stock which he did. Luckily I found street parking and was able to get into Dan so he could replace my battery in a jiffy. I opted to wait for my phone which provided me with a chance to overhear Dan helping various people on the phone with patience and unparalleled expertise. Dan's coworker, a pug named Winston, sleeps near to all the efficient iPhone magic. Thank you, Dan for making this anti-technology girl happy. I appreciate it !
