She not only fixed and synched all my devices but she went above and beyond and analyzed my plan and altered it to save me money when I did not even ask. She was patient, smart and amazing. So helpful! I'm dealing with a very weird situation with a phone going missing in the mail. We started out going to the Watchung store - DO NOT GO THERE. SERIOUSLY. Sam was so wonderfully amazing. I could not believe the help we were given. Thank you to this store for dealing with such a mess and being so helpful. With the year I had I couldn't deal with anymore and this store listened to the whole thing and managed to fix everything. They even got support on the phone with ease with us. I seldom write reviews unless there is a real reason to share something with other people other than my friends and family. Matt the GM at Verizon Wireless in Westfield totally took a problem that I had and turned it into a positive experience. My screen cracked and I didn't have an old phone to hook up. I pay Asurion every month for insurance in case my screen cracks or the phone breaks for whatever reason. I was very upset when Asurion told me they didn't have a phone in stock to send me and they couldn't give me a date. Why would I pay insurance if it doesn't work how it's supposed to? (side note: I learned that there is no other company out there that has insurance for phones for ANY other cell company) Matt heard me out and then immediately started to work to make it right for me. He called Asurion himself. Heard exactly what I heard and then called his local Asurion rep. He basically told the rep that he was going to pay with his Asurion credit card to buy me a new phone today. I still had to pay my deductible but I would leave the store with a brand new phone. He then went out of his way to make sure my phone was set up properly. It goes to show you that a great employee is a very valuable asset to a company even at the consumer level. This guy should get a raise... If I was hiring I would try to steal him to come work for my company. read more

On May 5,2021 I went to the Westfield Verizon store in Westfield. My son was with me to purchase a new phone. Rep: Thomas's-Ey497 assisted us with the sale. I purchased a $600 phone with a two year plan which the cost would be $86.69 monthly. At the end of two years with a $15.00 credit every month the final phone cost would be $300. My son can confirm my statement. Well it seem that noted rep never signed me up for noted plan. I've been on the phone for over an hour with Verizon. Was informed I was never signed up for such plan. The only thing that could be done was for me to add my checking account info for a rate of $90+ each month. I'm extremely frustrated & angry, why should I be penalized for a salesperson lack of service & fraudulent action. As I said my son was with me at time of sale & can confirm my statement & complaint. I was at the store to ask an employee where I can get my return label to trade in my old phone since I recently got a new phone 2 days ago. I waited over 30 minutes only for the employee to cut me off and say I have to wait for a label to come through the mail. I thought the employee was being unprofessional for cutting me off. I don't know if he was in a rush because it was getting close to closing time but that was not okay. I never got the trade in label. Then my dad and I had to talk to a customer service rep to get a trade in label only for them to tell me it never processed as trade in. read more

Verizon Sucks! They lied and misrepresented their plans and costs to my wife and jacked up my bill. No one in their store takes responsibility or can fix the situation. Their "customer service" is virtually nonexistent and trying to penetrate their bureaucracy is nearly impossible. I'm sure I'm not the only one they've screwed. You may have to wait for a bit until someone assists you, but that wait will be worth it! Recently I stopped in yesterday due to a problem with my DROID, and the people behind the counter remedied the issue and showed me how to correct it the next time something like that happens. They were nice and professional. I've came here other times to renew contracts and such, and never had an issue at all. Keep in mind that the parking area is a little tight, but considering I'm a DROID fan, I will be back when the renewal time comes. read more

Went in to transfer information from my old phone to my new phone, associate explained the process and told me to do it at home myself after backing up the phone. It ended up overwriting all data on the new phone that I had (as I had been using the new phone for about 2.5 weeks) I went back to the store to complain, the associate apologized and said we only do it at the store as a courtesy so we can't be liable if the customer screws it up themselves. I bought a new IPhone Pro 11 for my wife. I didn't ask for the Max, just the iPhone 11 Pro. I didn't realize they sold me the Max version till my wife opened the box. I went to return it and Brian the manager told me I had to pay a $50 restocking fee for their error. He then told me he would split the difference and credit me $25 on my Verizon account but I have to pay the $50 first to correct their error. Gee thanks! I told him I go there instead of shop online just for the direct customer service. Don't use this store. Shop online with Apple directly and avoid the poor customer service at Verizon in Westfield. Or you might pay for their mistake, like I just did. read more

I recently bought a new phone and had Christopher help me out. I rely on my phone for business and he made it a seamless transition to the new phone. My contacts, emails and a new Bluetooth was synced to my new device and I did not miss a beat with my job. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and Verizon should be happy to have such a good employee. read more

The employees here are actually helpful and make going to Verizon a little less painful. Way better than any other Verizon I've been to in the area. Just keep in mind they close earlier than most of the other locations. read more

Should have been told more about billing issues and an added phone number.

I just cancelled my account with Verizon after only 4 months. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service and lousy DSL. I've had to reboot my modem at least 10 times a day and can't watch a movie straight through without interruption. For the past week had to walk a mile into town to use Starbucks internet b/c mine is so unreliable. As if that's not bad enough, here's how my customer service experience went. First, when I walked into the Verizon store to get more info and set up my account, the salesman did not explain that the excellently-priced plan I signed up for didn't include long distance. So right off the bat I had to add another $15 to my monthly bill - cha ching. Then he neglects to explain that the router I purchased would not be compatible with all service providers. And now that I've switched to Comcast, I can't use it. So another 50 bucks down the drain. When I called Verizon to see about sending back the practically-new router and complain about the service, I just get told that I own the router and they will not give me a refund. And apparently there's nothing they can do about the poor service b/c I've called several times and they can't seem to fix it. Verizon sucks. Stay away. read more
