I would give negative stars if I could. Beware of fraud committed by Verizon using shady manipulation of their system to extract extra funds from customers for their profits. Verizon denied my access to my account immediately after I switched my phone service to TMobile. Verizon then reconnected, disconnected, changed plans, reconnected, and disconnected my account, and charged me without any instruction from me. On February 20, 2024, my family and I terminated our services with Verizon and switched to TMobile. The next day, I went to my Verizon account online to see if I still had unfinished business with Verizon. Verizon denied my access. Therefore, I was not able to look at the detailed breakdown on the website and settle any business with Verizon Afterward, I received some confusing DISCONNECT WARNING letters from Verizon, which threatened to permanently disconnect my account if the past due balance was not paid. Since my intention was to disconnect my account, so I did not pay. Yet I continued to receive these DISCONNECT WARNING letters with increasing charges and late fees. Therefore, I paid two bills ($71.69 and $78.50) even though I had no idea how these bills came about. Interestingly, I received more bills with more charges. Subsequently, I contacted Verizon via phone on Thursday, September 5, 2024. The representative, Christina, explained that TMobile never transferred the iPad line over from Verizon to TMobile. TMobile only set up another line for me. She also explained to me that in May, my line was reconnected because I paid and the plan was changed. she also said that in June, the line was disconnected and reconnected! In short, Verizon still sent me a bill, insisting that I have to pay $110.60. I wrote Verizon twice. One on September 21, 2024, with all the detailed twists and turns of the event. Another letter was written on October 5, 2024. What Verizon did was to put a "collection" on my credit card score. That is how Verizon extracted extra money from their customers. They could extract millions of dollars if they extract $80 extra from customers around the country. read more

Thank you to Issa for all his help. I have been going back and forth for a several months with call centers and all other locations regarding in accuracies with my bill. I stopped by to this location since it was on my way to work and I was greeted immediately by Issa and the rest of the team. He was able to complete the request with the corporate office regarding all of the issues with my account resulting in a full month paid from billing backpay. Definitely recommend this location over any others and anytime I need anything with Verizon I will be coming here regardless on how out of the way it could be. read more

Yes, Verizon has high priced services. Fortunately, I am able to get a discount on products and services at Verizon. I first came to this store to purchase my iPhone 5 and cell phones for my parents several months ago. When most other stores and vendors were sold out of the new iPhone, this store had one just for me. It might have been because I got one of the more expensive models. Jorge, the sales person, was extremely professional, personable and efficient. He not only hooked me up with my products and services at a discount, he also sold me some great accessories at a discount. Jorge worked with his store manager to make sure I had the best deal available, which included waiving the different fees. Jorge also gave me his personal cell phone number in addition to his manager's number to be available for any future needs. This was incredible customer service. When I had a question about my bill, Jorge was quick to resolve the issue. I appreciated the customer service so much that I returned later to get the iPad mini when it was first released. Again, all I had to do was call Jorge and he made sure he was available to set everything up for me. He made an appointment for me and had everything ready for me when I arrived at the store. One thing these employees at this store achieve at is consistency. Consistently Bad! After reading the prior reviews, I wish I had read them BEFORE I went to the store. Rude, unsympathetic, unprofessional, and a total lack of empathy are their best traits. And it appears they have excelled at this over the past year. Verizon FIOS needs to take lessons from Verizon Wireless when it comes to customer service because they are night and day. I have been a wireless customer going back to the "Air Touch" days. I am in California for business from Washington, I stopped by this Verizon because I am in need of a new phone and I knew I had an upgrade. I would usually go to my normal Verizon store in Washington but my phone started acting up and since I'm here on business having a phone that won't die after a couple hours of use is very important. It was a huge mistake. I do not blame the staff because they are managed by such a horrible manager. This man was rude, and completely lied to my face. I have DSL extreme, but it runs on Verizon DSL in Claremont Calif... and this system seems to be down more than it is up. You will find too that they advertise a particular speed, but you will get 10 or 11% less speed than advertised, and it is constant (when it is running). It seems to be the worst when it is almost the weekend... you want to watch a streaming movie and all of a sudden the movie goes dead... check your dsl modem and sure enough Verizon is down again... I am giving them one more, and the last chance, and then I am changing to cable and keeping my fingers crossed that they know how to run a network. read more

Let me start off by saying WOW. You as a company have surpassed yourself in complete incompetence when it comes to customer service. Here is my story that is filled with exceptionally poor service, lies and unfulfilled promises. In 2007 I signed up for your "High Speed Internet Access". It has never been great. It drops often but for the most part it worked. That is until last week. All of a sudden I was unable to connect to the internet or if I was it was slower than dial up. I called your tech support department Thursday July 9th and after an aggravating hour of being transferred to just about every department in your company I was told a technician would be out the following day between 12pm and 5pm. I had to leave work early to meet the technician. Well 5pm rolled around and a technician never showed up. Sunday the 12th I decided to call and figure out 1. Why a technician never showed up and 2. Why I am still unable to use a service I am paying for. What took place over the next 3 hours should make you feel ashamed to be a part of Verizon. I reached someone in technical support who informed me that there was never a technician coming out on Friday because "For some reason the paperwork was not completed" I asked to speak to a supervisor but I was informed that he was out to lunch but he would be back in fifteen minutes and would give me a call back. Two hours later surprise surprise... I never received a call. I decided to call back and after reaching technical support again I was told there was no note in my account to have anyone call me back. Real nice. When I asked to speak to his supervisor I was transferred to the billing department. Of course the billing agent had no idea who I was or why I was transferred to her. She transferred me back to technical support where I had to start the process all over again. I had to go through the same testing procedures I had already done on Thursday. I finally made it to the dispatch department when I was told the soonest they could send out a technician was Tuesday the 14th. That is unacceptable. I require my internet access for work. The longer it doesn't work the more money I lose. I said the technician needed to be there Monday the 13th at 4pm. She assured me that under the circumstances she would make that work. I then asked to be transferred to the billing department. Upon getting to the billing department I had to again retell the entire story that I have now told 20 times. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Guess where I was transferred to, Technical support. I again asked to be transferred to a billing supervisor. To my utter shock I was actually transferred to a billing supervisor. But the connection was so bad I could barely hear him. I would suggest you sent a technician out but from what I understand they are tough to get a hold of. I told the supervisor it was now his job to make this situation right, to get me off the phone happy, to change my mind about canceling my high speed internet access and my Verizon wireless service. He failed miserably. At first he offered to credit my account 7 days. Well that almost covers the hundreds of dollars I have lost since the service went out, missing half a day at work and being repeatedly lied to. He said he would credit my account 15 days. Wow $20 whole dollars. Thanks. When he asked what would make the situation better I told him I want 3 months of free service. He replied "You may as well ask for 10 months or 12 months because you are never going to get that". He was in no position to start getting an attitude with me. I asked to speak to his supervisor but naturally they weren't around but they would call me tomorrow. I ended the call there and I know there is no way I will get a call about that tomorrow. As I am writing this I just got a voice mail from the dispatch department. The technician is unable to come out on Monday the 13th but will be there sometime between 8am and 5pm Tuesday the 14th. That is just the icing on the cake. I am sure that 99% of the population would have given up by now. Some might even have canceled your service. I am not in that group. I will see this through to the end. I will have my problems resolved. I will be credited for my time and trouble. I expect a prompt response to this. I expect a technician at my home at 4pm tomorrow to fix the original problem. I expect someone to call me and let me know how you will be resolving the rest of the issues detailed in this letter. read more

I've been with Verizon for years hands down best Cell service but can't say the same for customer service. I pay over 5 lines ranging from cellphones to tablets. But my bill keeps rising. I just went in there and asked for a break down of my bill and the guy said the guy who helped me originally was on vacation and he'll be back on Friday. He doesn't know the promos I was signed up for so he just printed out my bill told me to look over it with questions and come back Friday. Basically telling me he doesn't want to do his job and or he doesn't know what to do. So I would be out of luck if the original sales person left the company I would be screwed indifinantly. Thanks for wasting my time and I didn't bother arguing due to the fact asking for a break down on why I pay $350 than the $250 promised was hard for him to do. If I could give 0 stars that would be more accurate. I went in to swap out my broken DVR, the girl said we don't have that one but I'll give you something better. So I leave the store w/the box she gives me, then I get an email on my phone saying this is a review of the changes made, & it has a new monthly amt, $10 more than normal..... A month later I'm still trying to fix the mess this girl made by removing my free DVR from my account and instead charging me for a hd box I never asked for and never authorized. Wish I would've taken her name down so I can call the store and ask the manager if they could take the $60 difference on this bill out of her check, and she can wait till the following month for a credit. read more

Can you give no stars? This is not a review on the customer service at a particular location. However, a review on the entire customer service experience I received from Verizon Wireless. My intent was to call Verizon and open an account with 5 people, new phones, on an expensive plan for 2 years. Easy enough right? Wrong. I was given the run around, put into numerous contracts that had nothing to do with my intent, spent over 8 hours over a period of 2 days on the phone with these "very friendly" sounding idiots that only know how to say "thank you", "I apologize for that", and "please" as if they were trained robotic monkeys. To this day the order is still completely screwed and I dread having to call them again because I don't have the time to sit and wait on hold for 2 hours the whole time being given the whole "I apologize for the wait, bless your heart for being so patient" speech. What I have come to realize is that companies that offer guarantees, I.E. AT&T with the fewest dropped calls guarantee, and Verizon with the "30 day or your money back customer service guarantee" are essentially the ones who have the biggest problems in those particular areas. read more

Located in a strip mall across the street from the West Covina Mall is this Verizon store where service lacks. I was directed by a Verizon agent to exchange my box there and signed in waiting several minutes for an agent. The first agent was unable to exchange boxes due to a glitch in the system. An hour later the glitch continued, and I left my old box and was directed to return in an hour for my new box. Five calls later no one returned my calls to advise me on the status of my box, so after six hours I tried calling again and unfortunately for me the person answering refused to provide his name or take a message saying that all people were busy. I entered the store as the person taking the call handed the phone to the manager who was abrupt indicating he had worked all day on the problem! The person refusing to give his name quickly disappeared from view, and the manager explained what could have been said on the phone six hours later, "come pick up the box." This place lacks any sense of professionalism, courtesy or willingness to go the extra step for customer care. The management and the "official greeter" demonstrate poor people skills in providing any sincerity in responding to customer concerns. As I left the store, another customer came bristly out and was swearing about "they are so rude in there." Go somewhere else for Verizon service as this place knows nothing about service or customer care.... read more

Ive been trying to get help not only with my cell plan but see what i can do for a Droid phone, not to sure what I wanted really or needed let alone price. during my search Ive been to 2 other locations being given the run around by everybody who works with verizon, nobody willing to help me. a friend of mine told me to go to the west covina location in a last ditch effort to get help. as busy as they were with what seems everybody being helped, and no other workers to help me i was getting even more upset. Carlie Burwell came in and started to help me right away even though i was upset. she helped me with my plan, and was able to get me a brand new Droid for a great price! asked how long shes been working here and for the knowladge and great customer service she had only been there for a VERY short time. i have already told friends and family bout this location and im very very happy will keep going to her for any help i need!!! thank you so much read more
