The Following is only my Opinion. Yesterday i Fired Verizon from being my phone carrier mainly due to this store in the eastland mall. I wish i had read more of these reviews before going to deal with a scam artist. Went into this store only because it was closer to my home, mostly i would go to a corporate store found out this one was Franchise so it is all about getting you to sign for things you are unaware of. All i wanted was a lower bill, the manager of this store signed me up for a business account ok fine. Then he tells me here is a modem it is yours Free no charge, which was half true it is free the extra phone line is not. Plus, he failed to let me know i only had 90 days to return the modem. Thank goodness i turned down the phone or that would have been yet another line to pay for. It took me a long long time to get Verizon to let me return the modem. Then i try to access my account both online and on my phone but was unsuccessful as it said my company would not allow it i am my company. I went online to Chat with an agent, and they wanted me to repeat what i had repeated so many times i had it memorized. Another Manager joined in and she treated me like i was an idiot. Saying "so you expected a Free Modem is that correct", i told her i did not expect ANYTHING FREE IT WAS WHAT I WAS TOLD. So, i hung up with her and CANCELLED VERIZON, mostly due to this one store and the lack of customer service i have dropped Verizon. Upon getting back home from the other verizon there were two women i know, they asked why i looked upset. I told them about what i was going thru with Verizon and one lady says "the same thing happened to me". I asked her was it the Eastland store she said yes. Told me he gave me a Free watch i told him i did not want one, he convinced me it was mine free. Later when i got my bill for $175 it was for Two phone lines and i only had one phone". So, he is taking advantage of Seniors who live on fixed incomes. The next person i text will be the Attorney General's office and the AARP. If i were anyone thinking of doing business here i would think four or ten times first. Again these are just MY Opinions. read more

The sales team has no consideration for the client. They do not explain the process correctly and charge you hidden fees. This store charged $29.99 to do an in store setup that was done at our home!!! Do not come to this store, Verizon is a rip off in West Covina. read more

Crazy upsale prices and shady sales people! Inconsistent with what verizon representative said on the phone when we called verizon directly to get prices. How is it that the sales rep at the store advised, for trade in of my current Galaxy, my monthly cost would increase some $40 for 36 months! The cost of the Galaxy S25 at store is $1299, and you want me to trade in my phone, plus overpay by giving you more than $1400!? What is the point of the trade in?! Make it make sense! When I informed them the costs the sales rep said over the phone, which was at as low as $8 and as high as $18 (depending on device) for 36 months, he said he didn't see that. Needless to say, go thru verizon directly. The sales rep have a motive to charge you more than is needed. A shady store to say the least. The math aint mathing and it's unfortunate as I am certain that have gotten people to pay more than what the phone is worth buying it upfront. read more

Avoid all Verizon but this one on West Covina parkway like it's the plaque!!! Absolutely shady practices happening here, dont ever be coaxed into adding lines if you did not come in planning to do so. They will try it to give you a "free phone" when in reality nothing is EVER free and they are making lots of money off the backs of hardworking people. They will change and add things to your account without your permission to making their sales goals. Be incredibly careful with changes and definitely don't ever trust anything these salesman say. They will lie to make more money and take advantage of you in a heartbeat. read more

I like going to this location because from what I remember it was the store inside the mall and everyone's pretty polite. I don't go often maybe 2-3 times a year or less. Usually agents help you even if it's something you can do online. Every time I've spoken with this associate it's "you can do that online" "you can use the machine" Fair if everyone else did it, but no one else from what I've seen does. Now I get it probably focused on sales, but isn't a pipeline built on an actual conversation? I wanted to buy an iPhone17 and add a new line but had to pay off my balance I let her know I only have cash and sends me to the machine again fair but if she knows it doesn't give you cash back maybe it's worth mentioning. Honestly it feels like you waste their time at this point. I wanted to shop here for a watch next month and an upgrade in 2 months but it's fine. 11 years and you can't go inside a store you love for simple help. Probably sound like an old person but SOMETIMES 1-2 times a year it's nice to get help in person. I'll dial 611 like suggested, or go to another store thank you. read more

Great customer experience! Yair (hopefully I spelled your name right) was a great help today when my husband and I went in with questions and in search for new devices. Yair helped us in answering our questions and his product knowledge was very helpful! We are very thankful and grateful that Verizon has someone like Yair in their team. Thank you for everything! read more

Jenny @ west Covina location was very kind and helpful with getting me ba l on track with my phone today. Thank you!

The customer service was awful. I came from another store and they were willing to help me and they ultimately couldn't and they sent me to the corporate one and they did nothing at all to help. They didn't even help to call customer service and i had to figure it out alone in their office. I'm a paying customer even if they can't do something specific they should at least try to help and seem concerned for their customer. All four employees were just sitting not doing anything because it wasn't busy yet they could care less. read more

Avoid this store. Bunch of idiots work here. Ever have a pleasant experience here but it's close to my house. They checked me in I got a notification that I was next and said wait is about 10min. Two party's walk in after I get check in and they both get helped before me. The incompetent employee then goes up to me and ask "have you been helped" that's when I realize I've been skilled and he barely noticed. I told him you checked me in, "oh yea" I get another notification on my phone I walk out and leave read more

The worst customer service everywhere; in-store, through the 800#'s, and Chat. Deceptive or Inept business practices or both very tightly intertwined. Would love to provide a negative rating but Yelp does not offer that feature, adding it to the 'Suggestion Box'. read more

JAKE has been an exceptional Sales Support Professional to work with. He advised on promotions and plan options to facilitate all family members to receive upgrades & all return to the Verizon program. Every question & concern was handled by JAKE proactively & efficiently. Post purchase concerns are always handled professionally & we all commented that our 100% Customer Service Satisfaction is due specifically to JAKE'S excellence in managerial expertise. In JAKE'S absence we benefitted from the great problem solving skills of Asst. Mgr. BRYAN SOTO. Overall, we are once again Verizon customers due to JAKE'S work ethic to ensure Customer Satisfaction at every level. read more

Everyone at this location is so rude I've come in multiple times and they've always been rude to me. I switched to Verizon from t mobile and it was the worst decision I've made. I have had issues with the service since I switched a year ago and they keep telling me there's nothing wrong. Then they tried to tell me it's probably my device. No attempt to help read more

make these guys explain your bill before you walk out the store, the rep yair added perks to my account inflating my bill to over $300.00 hoping i wouldnt notice, the lack of integrity and accountability needs to be investigated! this guy along with leadership need a crash course in ethics and need to be fired! snakes like this is why customers dont trust sales reps! read more

i am hoping that the right personnel gets this info My home internet was having a major problem and I had spoken to several on line personnel to help me with was had been a problem for a long time. A young women was given to me, so that I could explain the problem. Wow! she was so patient with me. And trust me I was not in a happy mood! Anyway she was able to get a technician to come to my home to see why I was having so much problem with my internet. Nick G. is his name and he was promptly on the time he was to arrive. He surveyed the situation and took his time and BOOM! HE FIGURED IT OUT WITHIN ABOUT 20 MIN. A great big thank you goes out to this young man! What a professional. Rude customer service received from Priscilla, after finding out she was an assistant manager I had to write a review even though it probably won't help her customer service skills. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 2 years. 2 years and 5 months to be exact. I've always paid my bill on time, and I never had any issues with the app or filing a claim. I loved Verizon and I felt that they provided decent cell service, they had great perks, and although it was pricier at $180 for 2 lines, I was happy with what I got. After 2 years, I went to THIS store to upgrade mine and my son's phones. I was told we didn't have upgrades at the time but if we got 2 new phone numbers we could get two free phones. I said yes and to my surprise two months later I'm billed $900. I've had a consistent bill of $180 for two years then it's $900. I call in. They do what they can. The next bill is now $700. Why? Not only did they NOT disconnect the old phone numbers which had plans that no longer exist and I LOVED but they upgraded them, added insurance on all 4 lines AND to top it off added home coverage. I'm FUCKING HOMELESS! My children and I live in a motel receiving services from a homeless shelter. So what fucking home am I trying to protect? For anyone worried, Verizon said they would cover my next bill with a $200 credit. Thank you so fucking much. That credit of $200 has helped me immensely, I'm being sarcastic. ALSO my issue is not with Verizon, because corporate has been helpful in finding a solution. My issue is with this store and the person who set this shit up. I must say the manager was nice over the phone and encouraged me to come in to sort it out. But how is this type of fraud acceptable. Corporate literally said on a recorded line twice that Verizon stores do things like this on purpose and trick you into getting things on your phone bill because you can't see what they do in store and for the future always make any purchases or bill changes over the phone read more

Jesus is horrible! I stood intentionally store waiting for someone to help me. He was sitting at a desk. After 5 minutes, he looked and asked, "Do you need help?" He was unconcerned about me as a customer. Send him to the competition. I will never visit this store again because of Jesus. read more

Honestly I've had my fair share of interactions with this place but I do have to say that Jake knocked it out of the park. Came in to add a line and he made our experience so excellent! He even stayed with us as we were trying to port the number. As far as service is concerned 10/10. I literally walked in to this place for a second line and left with so much more, including home internet. read more

This place sucks more than their 5G does with full bars. Verizon in general sucks now. Nobody here wants to really help you. You have to do most your stuff yourself. Honestly never go to a Verizon store. The kiosks are way better. They can work with you on pricing and help you with your issues rather than telling you, "call this number and say exactly what you said to me, but to them " I'm 28. Dude was easily in his 30s. Not very professional. Dude didn't even bother to look at my account. read more

Being honest! Giving the credit that you promised! Sticking to the agreement! If I could afford to buy out I would.

My dad went into this store for assistance, he's 73. He was " helped" by Jake. My dad was having a hard time explaining himself to Jake and he called me on the phone. My dad had his earpiece in and I could hear Jake giving my dad attitude and speaking to him in a very condescending tone. I had my dad give him the phone. Jake sounded shocked and annoyed he had to talk to me and explained to me my dad locked his phone and he couldn't help him. Customer service is very poor at this store, just like they were really patient and kind when they sold him an iPhone 12 with a ton of unnecessary accessories they should've used that same patience and kindness when he needed help. read more

Very bad experience. I was blatantly lied to about being able to add a second eSIM right away to the new phone, even though I specifically said it's a dealbreaker for me because I will be traveling soon and would rather just wait. However, I was lied to and was told it's not a problem, probably just to sell me a phone. Then they signed me up for a phone plan I've never agreed to NOR was it even discussed with me. So basically total fraud! Do not believe anything they tell you! It's not even a full review of all false information they provided to me! read more

This verizon sucks. Always a 40minute plus wait and the manager Evelyn is very unprofessional and seems incapable. The first time I came to this location, I was waiting quite a while and asked the only worker in the store not assisting customers if she was able to help. Evelyn said she was unable to provide service to customers since her sole job is to write people's names in. I waited an hour to get assistance. I came today, my second experience with this location to try to turn in my phone along with ask a couple of questions. When I walk in, the manager Evelyn is sitting down in the middle of the store calling me over, since she sees unable to walk over to check me in for service. Once checked in, she told me it was an estimated forty five minute wait. I waited fifty minutes and when I addressed it with her, she told me it would be another forty five minutes because their were still people waiting. I understand a slight difference in wait since wait time is estimated but waiting two hours for service is RIDICULOUS. If she told me initially that it would be over an hour, I would have left! Coming here is a waste of time. They couldn't even hire an efficient manager to keep business moving & customers satisfied. Been with Verizon for over 10years. It might be time to switch since this corporate Verizon is the closest to my house and such an inconvenience to go to. read more

Worst customer service ever. I guess they don't care since maybe I'm only 22 years old but not old enough for them to respect me I guess. I want to open up new account and told them I want to transfer my current Verizon phone number from my mom to my new account that I'm going to open under my name . They told me they don't do that even though I said I'm going to open new account! They Instructed me to call the number they gave me to transfer my current phone number to my new account. Hold on Hold on . How can I transfer my current phone number to my new account if I don't have new account under my own name yet !! I guess they don't listen or just want to hard head that they're wrong. Surely enough when I called the number they gave me I can't transfer because I don't have new account to transfer to! I guess they don't need to open any Verizon store anymore because you can't open account when you walk in store anyway according to their words! Probably it time to look new phone companies. read more
