I've had many horrible experiences but today set the bar high! First off manager Nancy, fucken rude bitch. She signed me in for an appointment I had a question about billing. I waited about 30mins and it seemed like everyone was going ahead of me. Finally she came over and asked "you had a question about billing right?" And I told her I was going to cancel my plan cause I cannot afford it right now, in which case she told me to keep waiting, so I left. Then I went to the Verizon store at Tapo Canynon talked to the manager Ali who was beyond helpful a little pushy about staying but non the less helpful! We didn't get anything fixed though, I called customer loyalty and had to talk to the manager Chris who at the long run didn't do shit. Overall so disappointed with Verizon and Verizon edge program BEWARE! it seems legit but I was promised to pay 75 and I'm paying 130 bunch of shit. read more

This store is unorganized and poorly managed....Tell Dre he IS NOT THE DOCTOR!!! My wife, son and baby came it to get new phones. We picked out everything we wanted and asked if it would be ok for us to leave and come back when they had everything wrapped up. The young lady helping us said would be absolutely fine. We returned about an hour later, and she was helping another guest. After waiting for over an hour and watching multiple people being helped by other sales reps, I asked the manager why is it taking so long. At this point it was obvious he was having a bad day. He made comments to me along the lines of "what do you expect me to do? I can't predict who comes in the store." I feel we should have been helped after a few minutes. I agree that he cannot predict who comes in, however he should realize we were in the store before all of the other people and we should have been told when we got back we would have to wait for our sales rep. I am in the customer service business, and saying things to guests like that is absolutely unnecessary. I watched the manager greet people at the front door for the entire time I was there. I've been to this store twice and both times when I walked in the employees were not helpful. I went again today and four of them we're sitting side by side playing on their own personal phones. When I began explaining what I needed help with, they seemed bothered that they had to stop what they were doing. They just kept looking at their phones as I spoke. Finally one responded to me and the other three got up and went in the back. Although the one who responded just tried to send me to the Apple Store for help, when he just needed to answer a question about uploading to the ICloud. The apple store around the corner didn't have the sim card for my new ipad so I stopped in to Verizon to see if they could help. The store was crowded but I was greeted immediately and was able to discuss with the associate why I was there. Being this is my first ipad I didn't realize the necessity of the sim card, but it was explained to me and I was asked if I wanted to add the card to the device and to my plan. I was very hesitant because I thought I was being sold something I might not have needed and was expecting my bill to change. They were able to check the effect of adding the device to my bill and I was actually able to save money by adding the device so I moved forward. They quickly installed the sim card and checked my device to ensure it was working and I was down the road. #verizon #simivalley read more

Went here because my phone was " about to explode " is what they told me the battery was separating the glass on both sides of the phone . The team gave me a temp phone and TOOK my old one until my replacement came in the mail . when my new phone came I went and returned the temp phone and asked if I needed to do anything else the said no so I went about my day ... well corporate called me 3 times telling me I was going to be charged full price of the replacement because the phone was not returned. I called to let them know that the store took it from me the day I went in . Almost a month later and a $ 700 charge the SIMI VALLEY TOWN CENTER VERIZON. Had my phone still sitting at the store there response " sorry an employee dropped the ball" had I not called to check they would have never sent it in ....now I'm waiting for corporate to receive the old phone to hopefully get a refund !!! read more

I had the worst experience. A day prior to coming to the Verizon store I called the tech support. Tech support tried to help me fix my phone but upon trying multiple times the issue was not resolved the next step was to switch the SIM card so the tech support lady online told us go to the Soni location and they will switch it out. I told her don't I need an appointment? And she's stated no that she put it on the notes. When we got there the manager George helped us out and stated that the SIM card was not going to fix anything. He didn't even bother looking at my account all. He asked a bunch of questions and I told him I've tried multiple times and to look at the account. He kept repeating him self that it wasn't going to fix the issue and that if it makes us happy he will change it. At that point I walked away. I've had horrible service not only from Verizon but the manager at Verizon George. I have 5 lines with Verizon and all of them have insurance the bill is almost $500 monthly and this is the treatment I get? Honestly I think T-Mobile has better service and it's cheaper. I came in to get my fascinate troubleshooted, because the phone was not allowing me to save the apps to my memory card, but there was still plenty of space on the card. I was greeted by what looked like to be the manager at the front door. He stated that the reps were all busy with someone at the moment, but that the next available appointment would be available within the next 15 min. @ 7:30pm. I asked, "Since when do you guys do appointments?" He apologized and stated that the district as a whole was adapting to a new way of phone troubleshooting, due to the fact that customer's had stated in the past that they waited too long to get something done, so that an appointment would be reserved just for me, because the half an hour section of time was all mine. At first I was a little irritated, but after sitting and waiting and seeing how many customer's come in and out of that store, even within 15 minutes, I can understand why the method was adapted. I was also explained that due to them carrying the iPhone, and Apple only giving a customer 10 minute windows to fix their phones, they were offering 30 minute windows, but that if the issue wasn't fixed within that window, they would have another rep take over to keep the appointments on point. When it finally came time to fix my device, I was greeted by a very friendly rep, taken to the tech area and they apologized for the wait. After trying a few different ways to fix my phone, even a factory reset, the phone was found to be problematic and I was told it could be replaced under warranty at no charge, it would just have to be shipped, because replacements were not available in the location. So we ordered the new phone and I received it yesterday and the new one works great. During the time I was there I was greeted the staff at least 4 times, and was asked if I was being taken care of. Everybody seemed to be very friendly, and coming here for the first time, I understand that phones are problematic and there is an organization in store flow that is put there to help a customer, just have to be patient and understand why its done that way. They are a busy store, much busier than the old store I used to go to, the Moor Park store, but at least here the people were polite and seemed to care about my situation. Once you walk out their door with your new phone, It will be yours for the duration of the contract - PERIOD. There is NO SUCH THING as a new replacement. Had the IPhone 4s for 6 weeks before it died. 3 store managers stared at it and told me the best they could do is order me a refurbished phone. 6 weeks old and I get the pleasure of getting a refurbished IPhone. These guys were a joke. I like Verizon but not this store. Shop anywhere else but this store. I want to add that when I dialed Verizon 611 they were more than helpful. They had no IPhones in inventory to replace my phone. They recommended I go to the local store and get it replaced. It was only this local store that was a joke. They told me all replacements were refurbished and I would have to wait untl they ordered me a refurbished Iphone. I said the phone is 6 weeks old I do not want a refurbished one. I told him TMobile never did that to me. Then Adam the store MGR tried to lie to me and tells me he worked for TMobile for years and all phones are refurbished. NEWSFLASH for Adam every time I went into TMobile they took a BRAND NEW phone off the shelf and replaced it for me not a refurbished one 2 days later. read more

So I went to the Camarillo Verizon and they treated my so bad. My mouth dropped. Every Verizon store never treated me like that. They treated me like I was crazy. This store doesn't deserve 1 star. There's always 10-15 employees talking as if their going through some sort of training; ignoring the 3 customers in the store. Extremely unhelpful, specially the manager Andre. I left and asked my husband to go back for me and he refused because he said every time he enters that store he falls into sin. Me and my girlfriend just opened up a plan at this location the other day and I have to say the service was absolutely exceptional. The employees were friendly, and were a pleasure to talk to. The associate originally helping us was Al and he made sure he hooked us up with the best deals I've ever seen from any phone company I've been with in the past. When it came time to get our new phones and tablets set up, every single associate in the store was helping us out to make sure the process went by as quickly as possible. If I were the manager of this store I would be proud of each and every one of these associates. And would do everything in my power to give them a raise! OMG! I am turning 70 in a month and I know I need to deal with technical issues face to face. I made a 30 minute appointment for store time with corporate customer service. I got there and an employee said "why are you here?" I said, I have an appointment as the automated download from my phone didn't work. He said "the support person was wrong, we don't help you do that." I said but, I have an appointment! He was visibly irritated and I had to keep asking questions and he handed me back my phone and walked me (with me pressing various buttons) return my phone to factory reset and said I had to go home and download it from iCloud myself! Not one Verizon person during this process asked what kind of damage (water) it was. If they had, they would then have said the "auto" download won't work for you, you have to choose the iCloud manual. I've been without my phone now 5 days due to this hassle. read more

PS Verizon has a different insurance company they use so if anything happens to the phone you will get pushed onto a third party that REALLY does not care and does NOT have a human being to talk to on the phone. Horrible experience, my family and I walked in and got helped by a young lady (whom was very unfriendly) that told us it should take 5 minutes. It seemed that only two people were helping customers and then the lady just standing around waiting for new customers to come in. So about 25-30 minutes pasted and I was losing my patience, my mom went to go interrupt a very nice man that has been helping a customer and she asked him is there anyone else working here or just you 3? And he said no there are more, then went to the back and came back with like 3 other guys (guessing they all went on lunch at the same time) :/ then the young lady ended up saying she could help us after she has been standing around for 25 minutes. Extremely unorganized, unprofessional and lazy. Thank goodness for the two employees that seemed like they were very nice to the customers they were helping! Save yourself sometime and go to the Moorpark location, it's newly owned and are very helpful! read more

Please read this all the way to the end. First of all I want to say that I was going in because my son's phone was broken and he has always been very responsible with his phone ever since his first phone he got back in first grade. (In first grade, He got on the wrong bus one time and really gave me and his mom a bad scare. so ever since then he's had a phone so that I could locate him wherever he might be) however he has never lost or broke his phone in all these years and he is in middle school now. So I really wanted to get him a new phone and replace his broken one. However he was still about four months short of being able to get a new phone on his plan. (With another carrier, if I needed to get a new phone and I wasn't quite due, they would give me a new phone anyway. They were very good about that.) So that's what I wanted to do with Verizon. Now like most people I do live paycheck to paycheck and don't have a lot of money. So when I went into Verizon and wanted to get a new phone 4 months early and they could not do it, I kind of got an attitude. Now even with my attitude Josh did something with my bill and the discounts he was able to put on my phone made it way better then just getting a new phone. for that I really appreciate Josh for what he did for me and my family. I would recommend anybody and everybody to go to Verizon and see Josh he Will do everything he can to help you even if you're not having the best day. Five big stars for Josh!!! read more

Soooo many months ago, I fell for Rochelle's (a former Verizon Simi Town Center sales associate's) false sales pitch on the details of a BOGO promotion. Many months later, Verizon Wireless itself offered a complimentary credit of a couple/few hundred dollars for her mis-guided claims. Prior to that credit, Verizon Wireless relentlessly tried to collect it from me resulting in several hours, then days of lost income/production time. At that time, I brought it to the the attention of Ms. Nancy Anduray (GM of the Simi Valley Mall location) ... it fell on deaf ears and it took Verizon Wireless itself to solve the issue. Nancy was worthless. Fast forward to the current ... About 4 weeks ago, I damaged my Samsung S7 Edge (again) and attempted to replace it through the Asurion Insurance policy that I purchased through Verizon Wireless (Simi Valley Town Center). After about a month of back-order status, Asurion, was unable to replace the phone under the policy that I had paid for since the original purchase date of the phone and the origination date of the policy due to back-order status. A complete sham. If there are others out there that have had a similar experience, maybe we should seek counsel on a class-action basis. From nearly 12:16pm till now (4:24pm), I have tried peacefully and not so peacefully to get someone on the phone who could resolve the issue(s). I found out, when you call for upper level customer support, Verizon Wireless sub-contracts their support to Xerox employees. What a F-ing mess. Verizon, see 'ya in court. Addendum: Ms. Nancy Anduray (GM of the Simi Valley Mall store) stated in a phone conversation, that I was no longer welcomed in her store because I verbally threatened to sue them. Just another example of a person who is incapeable of dealing with the issues and would rather deflect responsibility. I went into this store today and was greeted by a seemingly nice guy named Tarik. I was honest from the beginning letting him know I wanted to buy the iPhone 4s and that's it! He then spent the next 30 minutes walking me through the store trying to sell me anything and everything. Each time I declined his demeanor became more hostile, he was flat out rude. He even told me if I was so concerned with price I should buy my phone elsewhere. I should have walked out then, but I held my ground because I came for a phone and I was going to leave with a phone.He then tried passing me off to several other people with no takers. I eventually received my phone. I will never return to this store again and I will be taking this matter up with corporate. Service has gone to pits at this store! Went on line to make appointment as my BB was not receiving Emails. Not able to book an appointment on-line, so I went to store and there were maybe 5 customers and a dozen employees, but was told I needed to book an appointment for tech assistance (bet you if i was buying a phone i wouldn't need a appointment) my appointment was for the next day. Went in and techs were trying to assist and were very nice, i told them its happen before and I brought it in ad they fixed it. I guess you only get 30 minutes of there time, the manager pulled the employee aside and told him to end his assistance the next appointment was there. The employee asked to continue to help me as they were on the line with Verizon Support. The manager (I forgot the manager's name but he is the short, overweight (sorry only way to describe him)) insisted he drop the call and advise me to call support . What kind of service is that?!? This manager's gotta go as he is giving this store a bad rap!! I did inform Verizon Support of the incident. Hope it gets better! read more

I've been a loyal verizon customer for 10+ years...never have i been treated so poorly as a Verizon customer than at this store (a few times in the past couple of weeks). The management at this location hide out in the back and are completely unreasonable when it comes to "customer service". i had a car charger that i wanted to return (i have original packaging, and receipt from this store) and came in to make the return within the 14 day return policy, however it was a busy night and the wait was 30 min+ so i decided to leave and come back another day. next day, same thing happens. On the 3rd trip, after waiting 20+ min, i am told that i have passed the "14 day return policy by 2 days" and there is "nothing we can do". I explained what had happened, the rep went to the back to talk to the manager, and the rep came out a few minutes later to tell me the same. I asked for the Verizon corporate # because this was ridiculous...I'm then told to call customer service because they could probably help because they can process the return and send me a box with a retun shipping label. i call the number given to me and it is explained that i need to take care of this in a store. i explain what happened in the store and even the customer service rep is appaulled that i was treated this way and this simple issue wasnt taken care of, especially at a "corporate owned" store. Dont expect service when you visit this store, especially if you need a manager. Apparently he/she doesnt talk to customers directly, he/she just hides out in the back and sends messages back via the reps. Here's another thought...rather than having a "dedicated greeter" at the door, why not have him take care of simple issues like processing a return vs. having a customer make several trips and wait 20+min for a simple transaction (Especially when there is no new/un-greeted customer in the store...they have the ipad, and could do this but I guess that would be too easy for a customer make returns...why burden the profitability of the store, right?)...i bet this store $'s look great on paper...who cares if the customer decides to switch carriers (along with the family members) to AT&T, the store won't take the hit for "loosing the customer(s)"... epic fail Verizon!! read more

The last three times I have been there have been worse than being at the DMV. This is not rocket science and the people who work there seem to think they're gods gift to the world. Minus Carmen, she helped us all of the three times AFTER the other sales personnel showed their incompetency and inability to effectively communicate and be professional. Our first encounter was when the store was busy and two of seven salespeople were helping customers. Three of men were in the open ordering lunch together and comparing sizes per say. We called them out on it and they literally huffed and puffed and merely said we would be helped in a minute. The manager came over, whom was equally socially incompetent, merely whimpered again that we would be helped. I could only assume he was a part of the dick comparing party and could not be bothered with doing his job. I noticed that Carmen, was helping someone and after begging her to help us after, she obliged. She was very kind and explained what she was doing in detail and miracously I didn't get upset. It's amazing what information can do!! The next time we had to drag our heels there was again in February 2014, it was usually chaotic and filled with guys who looked like they belonged in a Gold's gym douche calendar. The third time in March, on the 11th 2014, Ryan helped us. Well, no that's not correct. Ryan had his period and literally threw his hands in the air and whined, (I'm serious, he threw his hands up in the air) also he could not be bothered to speak to my wife on the phone because the cell phone had germs (literally this is what pretty boy said). He also sought shelter in the back because he clearly can't handle social situations where people ask questions and the salesman give answers. He would do well at the DMV I guess. The manager came over, and was again just as helpless as Ryan and just mumbled and jumbled. Carmen came over after the manager and baby Ryan went in the back to change tampons, and she showed me everything and had me out in ten minutes. Why she isn't the manager, I honestly don't know. Absolutely terrible customer service! I walked in with receipt in hand to replace my screen protector but I was hastily turned away because that particular Verizon apparently does not carry my brand screen protector. I would have been happy to purchase a different brand as I was really in the need for a new screen protector but the customer service rep was very rude and didn't not offer any solutions. I've been with Verizon for about 12 years now. I have always been satisfied with the service and price. We recently upgraded our phones a few months ago. I have to say the wait time did seem like quite a while. I think my son and I waited for a good 30 minutes before it was our turn and according to person that greeted us upon entry, there were 2 people ahead of us. I do not recall the person that did finally help us, but he was very friendly and helpful. We were upgrading six phones, so it did take a good 45 minutes to complete. We were in the store for about an hour and 15 minutes from start to finish, but I did expect somewhat of a wait, just not that long. The only complaint I have is what I was quoted for plan price in the store was not what I actually received. I have always used the Verizon pay plan where I "purchase" the phone and after 24 months, the phone is paid off. The person helping me told me about a similar plan (leasing I guess) where we pay a certain amount each month and at the end of the agreement plan, the phone is not actually ours but we can "trade in" for a newer phone. I thought, OK, I don't really need to own and keep the phones in the future so I gave it serious thought. He also said that by using this plan and getting more data than my previous plan, this plan would actually be cheaper. I thought this sounded great and he actually did the math in front of me and showed me how I am getting more data and paying less for the plan I had for the previous two years. I was paying roughly $245 a month and now I am paying about $290 a month. Not a killer but he was off a bit. Nevertheless, I would give 5 stars for the guy that helped me, but have to bring it down a few notches for the amount of time I had to wait and for having to pay a bit more than promised. read more
