WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE!!!! Wish I knew this was NOT an actual Verizon store before having a horrible experience. These employees are straight useless. Don't know how their own promotions work and had no idea how to fix the problem THEY caused. I planned to do a buy one, get one deal for two new phones. They told me they had to order the phones because they weren't on hand. I specifically asked, "If the promotion ends before the phones arrive, will I still get the promotion?" The girl told me yes. If she said no, I obviously wouldn't have ordered the phones. These are super expensive phones. I couldn't nearly afford to pay full price for two of them. Phones came, we set up the phones, and we went on our way. Then I noticed I was getting charged the monthly installment for two new phones. I also had to start at least one new line for this promotion, which I was happy to do since I had been meaning to move my brother onto my plan. So I told my brother to cancel his phone plan and I would add him to mine. He closed his line and I signed the contract to add a new line to my plan for him. The employees literally did nothing to help after straight lying to our faces. Simply told me promotion ended, nothing we can do. They couldn't answer any questions or provide any advice for me. They just told me to return the phones, which included losing the activation fees I already paid, or suck it up and pay for both phones. It took me THREE MONTHS and dozens of phone calls to get my $900 dollars credit through contacting corporate. WHAT A JOKE! I WANT MY INTEREST! Just drive to Bridgeport where they have an actual Verizon store with actual Verizon employees. read more

Unfornately I have to give 1 star to write my review .So I buy a new phone the clerk doesn't know how to transfer all my contacts, forgets to set up my E mail ,So the so called manager named Sara tells me for my inconvenience she's going to tell her Verizon rep to credit my account $50.00 dollars but this could take up to 90 days ,Well 90 days have come and gone and no credit ,Bottom line I wouldn't let this people change my cats litter box I guess I have no choice but to contact Mr Bobby Morrison head of customer relations for Verizon's Northwest region Thanks to Verizon and communication with Jena and district manager Bradly my account has been given a credit and hopefully moving forward things will improve Thank You again read more

The sales people were nice to work with, but they failed to mention that there was a $75 restocking fee for the "free after rebate" tablet they talked me into. I did not want a tablet going in, but I was led to believe I had 14 days to try it out. Shame on me, I didn't read the fine print that there was a $75 restocking fee, but they should have told me that in the store while they were talking me into the device. Update 12/4/14 - 10 days after I returned the Ellipsis7 tablet GoWireless failed to remove the device from my Verizon account. After multiple calls to both Verizon and GoWireless customer service I was told the only way I could get the device removed from my account was to physically come in the store again - another hour wasted on what was supposed to be a free tablet that ended up costing me $75 plus all these headaches. The clerk who helped us today was nice. He was very easy to deal with. Good thing because it took THREE AND ONE HALF HOURS to purchase a new phone and get the info from our other phone transferred to it. You read it right 3.5 hours. I am still in shock about it. We walked in the door, got immediate attention and then entered the wormhole apparently. I wanted to go to the Apple Store to do this deal and, after wasting that 3.5 hours that we will never get back, we should have. Stepping foot in this store is not recommended. read more

I go to this wireless store frequently. Sometimes I go to pay bills etc. The staff is usually extremely helpful explaining plans, options, etc. but the last two times I've gone the man working was Jarren, and he was terrible!! He sits there and plays on his phone, drinks energy drinks while there are customers waiting!!?!? Even as I somewhat loudly looked at someone standing and waiting commented "You're waiting for help right?!?" with no response from Jarren. As we were talking to the assiciate Sarah who was helping us, we mentioned our teenager was being challenging at home, he piped up and said "Yea, I have ADHD too... " Said something else as he continued to flip through his phone and enjoyed his drink. I like all the other reps, but this guy is just taking up space and does not help customers!! He even left one time while I was standing there, looked at me, walked out with his cigarette!?!! He is bringing the once high integrity of this branch down. One time being there I had to work with him, after waiting, I talked about needing a Network Extender as I have absolutely terrible service in my house, and am not sure why I would have to pay more money for a network extender to enjoy the service I already pay a lot of money for. He kind of blew me off, and left me frustrated. I still have absolutely terrible service in my home, in the middle of the city of Sherwood!!?! Grrrr.. read more

I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER shop here again. As in NEVER. I've been a long time Verizon customer (15+ years) and am seriously considering switching carriers over this. My brother & mom went in the Sherwood GoWireless location in November 2013 to add a line to our already 7 line business acct. My brother purchased an iPhone and was told there was a promotion where they would throw in a Jetpack device for free. $50 up front, $50 rebate. No monthly fees, would only share in our group data package when we used it. Great. We wouldn't use it much but since it doesn't cost anything, why not? Get the first bill a month later, and lo and behold, they are charging $20 a month line access fee. That's not free, people. I call and they said that we must be mistaken, that they were sure the salesman said the device was free but they always charge a monthly access fee. I can believe one person might get confused, but both my mom & brother insisted that the salesman said no, that was the promotion, free device, no other fees...just would use data from our group data package. Getting nowhere, I then try to return the device knowing that we would use it so rarely that we could not justify paying $240 a year for it. They said "sorry, it's past the 15 day return policy" and refused to take it back. I didn't even get the first bill til 23 days after it was bought. HUH? Sorry, they say, not their problem. So I was told by them my only recourse was to sell the device to recoup some of the fees. I call Verizon customer service (after getting nowhere with the GoWireless store ---don't be confused, they're two completely different entities) and while they were nice, they said the only thing I could do was try to find someone to transfer the line to and either sell or give the device to them. I didn't have anyone who wanted the dumb thing, so I called them and cancelled the line to the tune of $175. Annoyed but at least this nightmare is over, right? NOW, 6 months later, I get a letter from GoWireless stating that because I didn't have the device active for 6 months, I either have to send them back the device or pay them $200. Keep in mind, this is from the same people who told me to sell the device. I'm sure they would have liked it if I had, so they could get their $200 when I didn't have the device to return to them anymore. Luckily for me, I couldn't pay anyone to take this thing off my hands. THIS, FOLKS, IS THE SHADIEST PLACE I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DEALING WITH IN MY ENTIRE 43 YEARS. I would stay far, far away from any GoWireless location (Sherwood in particular) unless you just can't get enough of being taken advantage of, lied to, and ripped off. Everyone I talked to at the store was useless and rude on top of it. PS, if you have a smart phone, you have no use for one of these Jetpack devices. Your phone has what's called a hot spot on it that allows you to use it just like a Jetpack. Yeah, ok, it uses your phone battery so make sure you have your phone plugged in. But other than that, works the same. Would have been nice for them to mention that at the time. Did they? Nope. So why would I pay an extra $20 a month for this you ask? Yeah I don't know either. Alisa N., the manager of this store is amazing. She goes beyond great customer service. She helped me with buy one get one and kept in contact the entire time. She had to order the phones and when they came in, she called me but I didn't get the call and the phones were sold. I went in and the offer was no longer going on. She tried to find me another offer that would work and when we couldn't find one, she actually called me the day buy one get one came back & ordered my phones. She called when they came in and worked with my schedule for me to come in and get everything set up. She was extremely helpful and I would suggest anyone who goes to the Verizon in Sherwood to ask for Alisa! read more
