Horrible experience, will never go back. They try to upsell their products with pushy salesmanship, even used harsh language when I said no. They wouldn't print out a copy of the contract before signing. They kept saying, trust me, trust me, I'll hook you up. This guy is extremely rude and doesn't know to speak to people. Terrible attitude and he acts like you are bothering him and doesn't want to be there. He should just go home because his attitude is the worst! When it came to pick the phones he hung up on the call center trying to transfer me to him, then hung up on me when I finally got through. Do not go here. Sold my grandmother (who recently had a stroke and thinks I am my dead grandfather) a $650 IPAD with data. She does not know anything about data, storage, or anything else needed to make a correct purchase. When I called to speak to them about it, they basically said they can sell her whatever if she signs her name. I have called 4 times, and never received a call back from management. I have been patient, but they obviously only care about her cash and not morals. Take your business somewhere else if you want to be treated fairly. read more

BOTH Chris' were wonderful to work with to get new phones and service transferred from AT&T. The first Chris was helpful in directing us on what was needed to complete the transfer from AT&T. Returning to the store a few days later, we were equally pleased with the second Chris that assisted us! Be carful. my son's relative bought two iPhones ($1000+ total) here and generously gave one to him as an early Christmas present, as his previous one had completely given up the ghost. We came a back a few days later since his wasn't present during the purchase and asked if we could do a data transfer. We received a polite yes and asked to come back 30 minutes later. We did and with the process complete we were handed the phone and informed there's a $30 charge for the service. Not a huge deal but A) $1,000 in purchases would seem to come with a data transfer and B) to not tell us is a poor practice, at best, and hopefully not indicative of more common business practices... BTW, my wife and I recently bought one IPhone and got another free from the AT&T (some bad luck in phones at our household lately) at the store a few blocks away at Valley View and Seal Beach Blvd and their data transfer is free. read more

Went into the store to have a tech problem with my iPhone figured out and we decided it would be best to head into Apple store for support. However, they were nice enough to let me use their computer to check a few support options before I went into the store. But what happened next was why I have to give 1 star. Firstly, the gal greeted me and basically told me she couldn't help me for over 30 minutes, so I needed to wait for the clerk. I mean, I get it was first thing in the morning, but that just seems like bad multi-tasking. I've never been made to wait that long at other stores, the clerks just multi-task and help us both. Over the course of the hour+ I was there...about 7 people walked in and were COMPLETELY unacknowledged. One rep mentioned after about 30minutes into most people's wait that they would be with them shortly. People were very upset. Also, they two clerks that were in helped the same two people for upwards of an hour. I know they want to finish those customers, but you need to call for backup or something when you have that many people in your store waiting. The only saving grace for them was that two random Verizon reps walked in and helped a few of the people with their easier tech questions...but other than that people were still waiting. I will NOT be coming back to this store, based on what I saw. read more

The wait was long as only 3 people were working but it is a smaller Verizon store. My son and I were looking for new phones and Alex took a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. The process in buying the phones took way too long though. It wasn't his fault, the waiting time to connect to Verizon was the problem. All in all we were there for @ 3 hours, 30-45 min just to wait to be helped and the other time figuring out what phone would best serve our family's need and the new phone set-up. We walked away with 4 new phones! Thank you Alex for being so patient and answering all of my questions. We are really happy with our new Google Pixels. Absolute nightmare. The worst thing I ever did with phone service was walk into this store. It's been 6 mos and it's been nothing but a headache and a stress. They lied, Verizon lies. I wish so much I didn't sign up. On New Year's Day they had a promotion where if you are a new customer you get a tablet and "Hum". I was looking for a new phone service and unfortunately caught the bait. As I was negotiating the contract with them I asked them over and over, looking at the charges they were going to charge me, "My bill won't be over 95 dollars, right"? I asked this THREE times each time with an affirmative. Well it was a lie. My first bill was outrageous over 200 dollars and it just got worse. I've had to call each and every month to get the stupid "credits" for my tablet and to try to keep them honest. I have called and taken notes at least four times today probably being my 5th. Even though I've gotten credits for my tablets and such Verizon says today, 6 months in, that I was told today I supposed to pay $18 dollars a month for these devices. Um NO...they were for fee and I got credits for them. Funny how all these months I've been calling NO ONE mentioned this until TODAY 6 months later. It's so crazy. So because Verizon and this awful lying store aren't talking to each other and getting the info straight I have to go in again, take time out of my day, to try to straighten it out. They are liars and fraudulent. Do NOT trust them with any free items it will most probably bite you later. I regret so much going with Verizon and this store. I have never in my life had so much trouble with wireless. It's been nothing but stress and heartache and I wish I never stepped in that lying store. I was listening to a tech show and they said Verizon is one of the worst because one of their ex lobbyists now heads the FCC so they won't come after them. Not only this store is a problem but Verizon is as well. There are whole pages online people complaining about their dishonest billing practices. I truly hope they get trouble some day. read more

HORRIBLE location! I waited patiently for 41 minutes before any of the 3 employees looked at or acknowledged me. No one greeted anyone, thanked them for their patience, nor said they'd be with them shortly/ever. Strike 1. I observed 3 Sunday B-team employees including an AGM not solve people's technical problems, and have people go outside "where there's service, service is bad in here", and when that still didn't solve either patrons' problems, send customers on their way to use Google to try to get an answer to their questions. Strike 2. When it was my turn to get help, the guy didn't look anything up, and instead guessed on device prices... that were blatantly not what was printed on the wall. Strike 3. Bad customer service. No one there cared to help customers or do a good job. No wonder there hasn't been a good review on this place in forever. I wanted to switch to Verizon from T-Mobile and I was told that it wouldn't cost me anything with a Rebate that Verizon was offering. So I made the switch and the guys were great and made it seem all to easy. I traded in my old devices as well. I asked numerous times if there was anything else I needed to do on my end to make the switch. I was told no your all good. I now know they just wanted my business and for me to make that switch that day. I never received a rebate. So I contacted Verizon who sent me all the info needed to get my rebate meanwhile I owed Tmoblie over $500 dollars in fees. I also found out that I had a line open with T-Mobile that never was canceled. Long story short I never received the rebate and these guys make it seem so easy to get the sale when there are many steps that need to be taken in order to switch over and get the rebate. It's been a nightmare of a situation. When I called them back tonight they told me that it was a Verizon problem and to call Verizon's customer service, when it was this stores fault for not telling me what really needed to be done. If anyone else is in this situation make sure to contact your previous provider to make sure everything was canceled and get the "correct final bill" because it's a specific bill they want not just your normal final bill. Also I would go to an actual Verizon store and not this Retailer. read more

We had occasion to visit this Verizon store today believing our approx. 7 year old Iphones may be in need of replacement. We were met by Robinson Ivory who assisted us in our inquiries. With his most efficient help we realized it was time for our phone replacement. He was very helpful in helping us select a replacement phone as well as some extras. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding regarding the number of screen protectors we wanted. Robinson was of the understanding we wanted two and my wife only wanted one on her phone. The misunderstanding, as far as we are concerned, had no affect on the high quality of service we received from Robinson and we would highly recommend him to others as a top quality representative of Verizon. He was polite, professional and very knowledgeable regarding the products. As a result we give him a 5 star review. read more

Beware of the practices of the Verizon store in Seal Beach over by Marshall's/Sprouts/In N Out. They take advantage of people that don't understand technology and specifically the elderly. They sold my mother in law a boat load of stuff she didn't need and when she tried to return it they charged crazy re stocking fees. She spent $80 and after restocking they were only going to give her back $.86. She then went to the corporate office and they told her never to go to a Verizon retail store, and specifically that one in Seal Beach, they get lots of complaints about that particular location. It's disgusting that businesses take advantage of our Leisure World neighbors/family. read more

Alright, I know we live in America and people are always entitled. Most of these reviews are based off of long wait times and not getting served right away. Honestly, the reason why people are with the reps for so long is because they actually care about customer satisfaction and want to make sure each customer is taken care of. If you went in and out within 5 minutes, you'd probably go home with a lot of questions. Not only that, people who are setting up a new line/plan, it takes a REALLY long time. Now that being said, my boyfriend and I came to the store on Sunday the 29th of May. It was one hour to closing but my bf literally broke his phone and was desperate to get a new one since his work info is all on the device. We were PATIENT enough to wait to be helped by Ludym C. (sorry if I misspelled your name!) He went out of his way to set us up with new phones, made sure to answer all of our questions (especially me lol), and stayed after closing to make sure we had everything set up and ready to go. He even helped me transfer my old phone stuff to the new one while waiting for another rep on to confirm our lines on the phone. While waiting for all of this, we had some pretty interesting conversations and he made the wait bearable. I really liked our sales rep and he was really nice. It was like we had been friends for years even though we just met. So word of advice, if you expect great customer service, treat the workers like actual human beings and they'll treat you the same. I know they have to do their job to sell phones or whatever but shiet, I would not want to make their life any harder than it is. read more

We bought two new phones before Christmas. A salesman named Levi helped us and went out of his way to get us the best deal possible. Once we received our bill, we went back to the store because we had questions. Since Levi works in the Huntington Beach store, he was only there to help at Christmas. Luckily, Jacob, the manager was able to walk us through our bill. He was kind (not judgmental), helpful and polite. He talked to us, not down to us like most of the Verizon employees we've encountered in our city of Long Beach. We will gladly make the drive and make this Verizon store the one we go to to buy phones or have questions! Highly recommend!!! read more

I decided to go phone shopping one day after work due to my phone being an old dinasour (droid bionic) and dropping text messages and other things like that. I knew i needed a new phone. Right away i was greeted by a sales rep named Michael who started showing me some of the great new phones that Verizon was carrying. After a bit, the manager (AJ) also came over and continued helping me out with some options. As my luck would have it, a new phone had just come out called the HTC One. AJ proceed to go over all the bells and whistles that the phone offered. Didnt take me long, i was hooked. As we looked over my account (and i told him one of my pet peeves was slow internet) he got me set up with a data plan that best suited my usage (6 GB vs unlimited which i used to have. Not sure why unlimited is so slow sometimes, but ill take his word for it that 6 GB is better). Anyways, as we were finishing i noticed Michael explaining to another customer about a tablet that Verizon was carrying called the XYboard. Interesting name. Well anyways, both my bosses at work have tablets they use all the time, so i figured its my turn to get one. All told, i left the store with a tablet, a new phone and a moble hot spot (not to mention all my texts and pictures transferred over which took about 30 minutes since i had about 8,000 texts lol) It been a couple of weeks now and i am completely in love with my devices! The HTC One is amazing! Fast, great pictures, plenty of storage, easy to use and great sound quality. The XYboard is also amazing! connects to WiFi easily and the interface with my apps and internet couldnt be better! Im really glad i went to Verizon and purchased everything that i did. Nice clean store, knowledgeable and friendly staff (thank you AJ and Michael for everything!). Great products! I have a feeling i wont be needing a new phone for a couple of years now... read more
