Today Mike was awesome & helped me add my friend to my plan!! He let us know all the promos & got us the best deal. We added her to my line & got a free iPhone 13 !! Mike knows his way around the promos and is super knowledgeable, professional, personable, and funny. Also saw his coworker Yasmine doing a great job helping out an elderly lady get her bill situated and she was super patient with her and good at explaining everything. This store is super chill and easy & bear Verizon location I've been to. Mike is good at multi tasking and was able to take care of me and a couple clients at the same time quickly and efficiently. If you're looking to come into a Verizon store I recommend this location for its awesome customer service and great area if you want to grab a bite after. Plenty of street parking as well!! Came here the other day with and appointment, showed up on time and still wasn't serviced. The girl working didn't seem like she even wanted to help us, told us to wait outside with no indication of how long we would have to wait. Asked to use the bathroom and she just said no, waited 30 minutes and got irritated. Ended up calling the location on Lombard told him my situation, he took me and I was serviced immediately. For 45 minutes they tried to set up my phone and it kept failing. at 6:59 the attendant told me I would have to leave or I'd have to pay him to stay overtime. I had already paid for the very expensive new Apple iPhone 15 Pro. I now cannot use it. He told me to go to Apple for better service. read more

Really rude and unhelpful. After I left the store, I went to apple and ran into someone who has been in the Verizon store with me. He told me the employees called me entitled after I left. While that's probably true, it's not great customer service for them to say that in front of other customers! Do not go to this store! Issue One: Bought a replacement iPhone with a screen protector while waiting on an insurance replacement phone on the 13th. Screen protector started cracking the next day. Then home button stuck on phone. Went to the store and the person who applied the screen said it would cost $15 to replace it. I asked why and she said that they were a third party dealer and that is what it cost. I asked that since she was the person who applied it why couldn't she replace the protector. She said the phone had been dropped. I said it wasn't; she basically called me a lair. Issue Two: Refused to swap out my defective phone even though I had bought it 3 days prior. Again said that they are a third party dealer and I had to go through insurance. Don't get me started on how my experience was with the insurance company filing two claims within three days. ( Took entire afternoon) This store does no stand behind their work or the products they sell. read more

I just had an incredible experience with Amu, so I wanted to write in and give her props for a job well done. Long story short, I had purchased a new phone at Costco and needed it activated. After 3 hours on the phone with VerizonWireless, I still didn't have a working phone, so I decided to go in store to see if I could get some help. Victra on Geary had a line and one person working, so I zipped over to the Lombard street location, and I'm so glad I did! Amu was quick, professional and got done what I needed in less than 30 min. She even cancelled an extra service I didn't need that someone on the phone had talked me into. Thanks Amu! read more

Mike was recently able to solve my phone issue quickly after previously referring me to 611 (a lengthy, lengthy ordeal), and he apologized for having been bounced back to the store. I had twice stopped by previously and both times he was occupied with a customer (although once there was another employee in the the back of the store who, although not occupied with a customer, apparently was unable to assist). If you need to visit, it's best to go early, and if you need to wait, just accept that most of the world is understaffed these days, and it may take a few minutes for someone to acknowledge you, but Mike will likely be able solve your issue. read more

spent an hour standing in the lobby with no contact from the staff. trying to return defective Verizon merchandise. The staff are casual about customer service to the point that they seemed to be relaxing and chatting with no attempt to deal with a growing line. finally was approached by someone who quickly informed me that I had wasted over an hour standing there to find out I needed to return the item to a corporate store. will never set foot in that horrible place again read more

This place is a a complete scam. Marquis is the store manager, he was helping us, seemed like a really good guy, but somehow he steers you in to buying a $30 insurance that he claims Verizon requires when you upgrade a phone. We called Verizon directly and it was a complete lie. He puts on screen protectors before telling you the price, forcing you to buy it. I can go on and on. Do yourself a favor and go to a corporate store and avoid scams like this. read more

Not happy with this store at ALL. I went to get a new iPhone X and was told that they were having a "bundle" deal where I could get an iPad with the cost of the monthly payment on my phone, essentially at no extra charge. Josh, the sales associate that helped me, did not disclose to me the extra fees of the iPad and the monthly payments while I was in the store. After checking the online billing, it showed an extra $40 per month for the iPad which I did not agree to. I've called them the last few days and they will not return my calls and do not answer my calls. Also would like to add that they never gave me a receipt so I really have no idea how much I spent. Super disappointed with the service here and I will be reporting it. Don't let them trick you into these bundles! read more

They're nice enough, some employees more than others. One or two are utterly apathetic to misunderstandings or offers they made verbally changed their mind to. I was originally told multiple times that I would get a 100$ off when upgrading. At the time of purchase they didn't uphold this offer. They said it was only upon phone trade-in - they made no attempt to placate or meet me half way. I was just s.o.l. (If I didn't think I was getting that discount, I would have bought directly from the phone provider.) I don't know if it was just miscommunication on their end, but the way they handled it overall, was kind of shitty. I started to not believe every other thing employee Amoo(sp) was telling me, with regards to applicaple discounts and "Verizon/Apple policies". Either this store is sort of shit, Verizon has some shite policies, or i'm a just a bit salty. Maybe all three. (Also they told me I was good to go and failed to activate my phone completely. ) read more

I had a great experience here! I came in on several occasions to so some research and first worked with Josh he spent lots of time going over features and specifications of the phones I was thinking about purchasing. I came back and mad a purchase with Joe but ended up having some issues with the phone and brought it back. I then worked with Kay who was super friendly and personable he did tun me over to Joe again to finish the exchange. They were all super friendly, knowledgeable and professional every step of the way. Buying a cell phone is not a fun experience for me but the folks here made it the best possible. read more

I regret switching to Verizon service from the get go. Their monthly prices are astronomically high. I feel like for what I'm paying for I should be getting a CrossFit membership or Equinox gym membership. So ridiculously high! And this is the worst retail store ever with terrible customer service. Only one person working and had me in the store for 3 hours as I was in the process (paperwork and transferring my account over).Three hours is way too long. He had another person waiting for 45 minutes, another for 35 minutes, and another for 25 minutes. Everyone was upset as they had to wait so long. While I was waiting the guy had me do all my own phone data transfer from one phone to another, manually. Also, he mentioned the promotion that I signed up on he said that I would get a Samsung Tablet A for free... that was a total lie and unfortunately for me 2 months later I found out they were charging me to have a "live" number on it. And if I returned it (as I didn't want the tablet in the first place) they would charge me for the tablet for wanting to cancel the service?!!! Can you believe that? Just terrible altogether! They really deserve a half star or less! read more

Getting a new iPhone 7 is supposed to be fun right? It was the most miserable experience I could image. These people are crooks! They added things to my bill without asking or telling me (insurance and a booster pack of accessories) and when I caught them they played dumb ~ no apology. I heard them misinform so many customers as I sat there waiting to get my order corrected. They didn't mention the $20 up grade fee, AND the $20 Set Up and Go Plus Fee, they misrepresented the cost of the phone several times, they added insurance to my account and then did not take it off any of the three times I asked them too, they told me the earbuds in the iPhone 7 were wireless (they are not), they took literally hours to complete the computer work then did it wrong so it had to be redone twice (spent 6 hours in that store over 3 sessions to get it cleared up), they ordered the wrong color phone, they misrepresented the date my phone would arrive by weeks, and they have no customer service skills at all. They are completely unprofessional, incompetent but more importantly DISHONEST. They gave me the phone in a case and told me it was free. I had to ask for a receipt, they did not provide one, which made me suspicious. So I check my receipt and sure enough they charged me $40 for the case. They have all kinds of fees they don't tell you about like a $6 phone recycling fee, the $20 upgrade fee and $20 set up and go fee they add on after you have already set the whole thing up. It was a disaster and took all the joy out of what I though was going to be a fun upgrade. Please be sure to ask them for a recipe and check it carefully if you dare to venture. I highly advise recording any conversations with them because they are out to scam you. Save yourself a lot of time and headache ~ do not go to this store!
