Beware--Victra is not a Verizon owned store, but a Verizon authorized retailer. Very unhappy with customer service. Bought charger cord for grandson's birthday and mailed to him across the country. Wasn't what he wanted. He mailed it back after a few weeks, and meanwhile I was out of town. When I tried to return the cord, which had never been out of the box, manager said I couldn't return because it was past 30 days. (it was 1 week past 30 days).No offer for credit. I asked him to call his superior and he refused and was rude. Victra customer service sucks. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE BUY FROM AMAZON AND WALMART where you aren't so limited with returns. Will never set foot in another Victra owned store. The happy ending is that I called Verizon and my account was immediately credited the cost of the charger cord, plus I got to keep the cord. read more

Great store! My husband and I came here to get a tall order fulfilled and we were blessed to have Christine help us. It was alot of work on her part, but she never gave up, going back and forth with Verizon Corporate several times. She made what we needed a reality, transferring a personal phone to a company, then a prepaid phone to a plan on a new smart phone, then that phone into the company, AND we got a sweet deal on a new Tablet as part of a promotion. Tyler, Christine (office manager) and Josue were all extremely attentive and helpful to my uncle and me when we went into the store to get new phones. A guy and a girl worked today they swore and took personal phone calls while people stood around in store waiting to be helped. Don't go here! There main goal is to sell their Victra products and could care less about properly helping Verizon customers. I purchased a Portable wireless box and was very unhappy with the product. When I returned this they didn't put it back into their system, I then followed this with three weeks of phone calls/fighting to get it stop charging me to my account. Overall just keep in mind the intentions of the sales associate and what's their trying to sell you. Avoid the problem all together and go to a legitimate Verzion store, very disappointed. read more

Terrible service, my husband went in to get the new iPhone 13 and was then offered a whole bunch of accessories for "free" because he was purchasing the iPhone, we thought "cool! That's nice of them to do" and it wasn't just us we saw them do this to two other customers before us. We then proceeded with the purchase and mistie threw in a screen protector, phone case, 10ft charger, car charger, and a portable charger once she gave my husband the total it was 300$! We ended up paying because we thought maybe the prices went up this year because last year we had only payed 260$ for two phones when we had both upgraded so we were a bit confused, mind you she didn't even give us a receipt or anything until we got home I noticed she ended up emailing it and did charge us for all accessories when she said it was "free" because of the iPhone 13 this is honestly really unprofessional if this is what you guys are teaching your employees to do! This is the worst I have ever experienced. I mean I get a discount from my work by staying with Verizon but EVERY DAMN TIME I go into this store it is one screw up after another. 1. Upgraded to the iPhone 7. Was told they would send me a box to recycle my 6 and I would get a discount each month. Never received the box. When I came in again I was told that the offer was too old and they wouldn't honor it. Which brings me to 2. Got my son a Gizmo Watch, was told that I would receive a $25 gift card in the mail for signing him up. Never received. 3. Went to get my son a phone now that he out grew the Gizmo and got a warranty on the screen protector. They did me the 'courtesy' of completing the registration, all I need to do is finish the registration that was emailed to me. I received the email, only to find out that they had TYPED IN THE WRONG PHONE NUMBER of the phone that I insured. Is this level of incompetence inherent to ALL Verizon locations or just here in Riverbank?! read more

I would give this review zero stars if they let me but unfortunately I have to give at least 1. I have never in my life experience racism in till I came into this store with my husband. Both employees working were helping other customers when we walked in they didn't even say Hi, we will be right with you or anything, we waited around 15 min because we wanted to changed phone providers but we changed our minds once another customer different race came in and they acknowledged him right away and told him we are almost done and will be right with you. We recently upgraded our cell phones and decided to add 2 gizmo pals to our account. While we started out with a little bit of a bumpy ride with the gizmo's, Alpho took the time to ensure that all of our questions were taken care of and that all of the bumps in the road were taken care of. After waiting 30 minutes for service at the Pelendale Verizon store, only to be told I would have to wait 15 minutes more, I left, came to the Verizon Store in Riverbank. They resolved my problem without any waiting, without any problem, and in less than 5 minutes!!! Alpho and Evey are friendly, fast, and easy to work with. I won't go to any other Verizon store. A lady named Christinne was awesome even called to get rebates all lined up, helped me clear phone and pick out accessories. The particular sales rep I had ( Josia) was very deceptive and not upfront and honest. I went into the store because I was having reception issues with my current provider and heard that Verizon was better. I was told by Josia that my unlimited plan would be $65 a month with auto pay. So I purchased a new phone and had him transfer my info on my old phone to the new one and switch my current number to Verizon . After the process was completed he presented me with the contract to sign , I saw it had $80 month so I questioned Josia about it. He gave me a blank look and proceeded to lie and say he was giving me the cost for 2 lines, I told him no I clearly asked for the 1 line price. After a while of going back and forth he finally admitted it was his mistake and said it would be $75 and $70 with auto pay, but they couldn't do anything more about the price. I told him I really didn't want the service for the fact that he lied to me and it was not a good way to treat a new customer. At this point the manager and another employee got involved. The manager told me I could return the phone but it would take a couple of weeks to get a refund and there would be a restocking fee, and I would lose my current phone number .At this point I felt I had no choice but to accept the terms. The manager did offer to waive the $30 installation fee. So I went home disappointed and got on the internet to set up my on line account, well come to find out the monthly fee was now $80! The next day I spoke to the store manager and told her how I was disappointed that I was lied to not just once but twice and felt that they were deceiving customers and asked to speak with the regional manager: She said she could not give me the regional managers number but would have him contact maybe the following week: I again stated how disappointed I was: About 20 minutes later the store manager called me back and said they would refund my money and to bring the new phone back. They did make good on this promise and I went back to my original carrier. Also for the 12 plus hours I had Verizon I had 4 dropped calls . read more

BEWARE of doing business with the store. I went in to upgrade my phone and the person that helped me tried to, without my knowledge or consent, slip in $90 Worth of accessories that I had no intention of buying. Luckily I had already checked out the pricing and had a figure of what I was going to have to spend. If that was not enough dishonesty, the same sales person charged me $68 without my knowledge. I found out later that this was a charge to buy out of my old contract, and had he made me aware of that charge I would've paid it with no issue. But it's the fact that he failed to tell me about the charge and did not even give me a receipt for the transaction that caused me to feel like I had been taken advantage of. I would've not known about the $68 had I not checked my bank account and found the transaction two days later. When I called the store to to complain to the store manager about the transaction, I was told that I was mistaken and that, in fact, I was told about the charge prior to it being done. The manager then stated that I had been given a receipt. I checked all of my paperwork three times, no receipt for the $68. I was not offered any apology, no explanation, no nothing. Instead I was told that I was wrong as a customer. Having been a Verizon customer for many years I certainly expected way better treatment than I received. I will never go into that store again nor will I ever recommend anyone to do the same. You would think with so many other authorized dealers out there, they would take better care of the customers that came in. I know, for me, I will take my business elsewhere. Anywhere is better than going back into that establishment to deal with the dishonest crap that these people call customer service. read more
