This store committed fraud. I came in and asked about purchasing a new phone. The person took my credit card information and after he took my credit card, he advised me that they did not have the phone in stock, so I said I did not want to purchase it. I did not sign anything and he said he the purchase did not go through. When I went home, I found the purchase against my credit card. I did not sign for it and I did not receive any receipt because my understanding was that I did not purchase it. I called Verizon and they said they could not do anything. I would have to deal with the store. I think both Verizon and store are responsible for fraud. Will be contacting my bank. read more

I always have problems with calling into Verizon's 1-800 number. But coming here I actually get a straight answer and not an answer from their 'customer service manual'. Of course the wait may be long when you come in during the busy time - that's a given. But my recent visits have been great. The 2 guys that helped me pick out a phone and working with me to switch to fios were great, and were extremely patient because I am so picky with certain things. Ask for Imran and Roger (fios) if you come in here. read more

Two trips in two weeks -Terrible experience both times. First sales rep did a horrible job explaining my options (resulting in confusion) and lied about what accessories I could get with a credit on my exchange. The second trip (to fix the problems from the first) was waiting almost an hour to ask a question to get some clarity - and the wait was stated as 20-25 mins when I got in so a really bad estimate. Some Suggestions: 1) Since the store captures your name when you walk in they should display a list (like an airport standby list) with an approximate wait time; 2) they should have more than one way to work with customers ... do some triage, assess what problems are 2 minute problems and which are complex or more involved. Have at least two paths to help to clear the easy ones faster. Two years ago I had a great experience here so not sure what happened. read more

The customer service at this store is awful. Yesterday, when I registered, I was told there were 10 people ahead of me. After waiting 40 minutes, I asked the person at the door who was signing people in how many people were ahead of me. She said there were two. I sat down again and watched as three more people were helped. I went back to the same staff person and she said there were still two people ahead of me. She was curt and didn't seem to care when I said I was leaving. I will not return to this location. On the flip side, today I went to the Verizon store at Tysons Corner and the people could not have been nicer or more helpful. I will definitely drive the extra miles to visit that store and recommend to everyone else who has any issues/questions for Verizon to go there. The person who helped me, Garrett, was excellent. read more

I had some trepidation about visiting this store after reading the reviews but I had to get a new phone fast and the location was convenient. I knew what I wanted plus I was able to go at a time that I knew they wouldn't be too busy. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. No IPad login, they just took my first name and said they would have someone help me very soon. Very soon was less than two minutes. I was introduced to my sales rep Luis. I told him what phone I wanted and discussed the plan options. While he activated my phone I chose a cover from a variety that was comparable in selection and price to what I have seen at Target. The staff was very personable and actually quite fun. The process was quick and painless. I told Luis about the Yelp reviews. Love Yelp because it makes retailers listen to the customer. So, maybe this store was not doing a great job before but they were spot on today. P.S. Luis Rocks! read more

Bought an iPad from Verizon a few years ago and it froze, so thought I would start there for troubleshooting before I tried Apple. Met Syed Bukhari which is anyone's misfortune. I have never met a service clerk so unskilled, sarcastic, untrained, angry, and poorly prepared. His sarcasm was not customer friendly nor was his appearance. Reston!!! Who are you hiring these days? I must say, I dread any time I go to a Verizon store and today strengthened that sentiment. My husband also wanted to remove his iPad from our Verizon account and the store folks couldn't help him!!! He has to call Verizon Customer Service because they can't do it in the store!!! Ahaha. So we left both insulted and still with the problems we went in with. A business case for why to shop elsewhere. read more

Stopped by this location to buy a phone and they won't let me because I'm on a business account. Would like to buy the phone separate from the account but they are refusing to do so. I can go online and order it or I can go to Best Buy but they won't actually sell it to me at the branch. I will absolutely buy it from someone else but why make it harder on your customer? Terrible customer service. read more

Syed is not worth going back ever. I've dealt with him on three separate occasions. Ever single time it was I am a bother and in his way. How he has a job there anymore is beyond me. Avoid this store. read more

Wanted to upgrade to a new phone (IPhone 4S), first we had to sign in, and wait in line for 15 min, only to let us know, that they ran out of 4S.. this store is always busy, even though it does not look too busy, but always such await. Then that person who came to us never smiled and seemed to be snobbish, not someone you feel comfortable with. We left to the Franklin Farm Verizon store and will always go back there. Very friendly and helpful and we were in and out in no time. read more

This is a worst Verizon store i've been at. I went in this morning (08/02) to buy a prepaid plan with my own smart phone. Unlike other customers, I was lucky enough not to wait in the long line, but that is where all the good things ended. The guy named Jorge who helped me with prepaid didn't look happy because I already have a smart phone to use with, not buying new prepaid phone from them. Then he told me the only prepaid plan they have is $60/month for unlimited talk/text and 1GB of data. I told them that there's a $45/month plan with unlimited talk/text and 500MB data and for $50/month, you get 1GB of data, not $60/month. He said Verizon doesn't have plan like that, must be some other competition. I told him there's indeed a plan like that from Verizon because I just chatted with Verizon online before coming to store. He said he can show me what plan they have from his tablet. Unfortunately for him, I said YES, show me what you got from your tablet. He checked and BINGO!, there's a $45/month plan like i mentioned. He apologized insincerely and I got that plan. My question is: Why they try to trick me? Either he's stupid enough not to know what plan they have in his own store Or he think I'm stupid enough just to go along with what he said. Luckily, I checked online before coming to store and home work paid off. Also, after i paid for the prepaid plan, I looked up on the prepaid booth, there is a HUGE advertising sign, and it said: :Prepaid, smart phone 4G, $45/month". I was like, what the F, they put the Ad right there and still lie to customer. So either that guy ignorant enough not to know what's going on in the store or think he can trick me easily. The whole atmosphere going down from there, a lot of awkward moment. But it did not end there, he was supposed to write down a 4 digit security code for me so I can register online. He did not give me the code. He said I can register online by just using phone number. Really? really? This is how Verizon train their staff? I didn't bother staying there for another minute. I left and went to other store to get the code. The whole experience can be summarized as: Deceiving, Lying, Unprofessional and Stupidity. read more

The worst customer service all around. I walked in and didn't realize I had to put my name"in the cue" with the doorman. The employees behind the desk basically scolded me for not doing so....really!! After getting "in the cue" to be helped, the guy attempting to help me no more wanted to be there then I did. Lazy and lacked social skills. Will never go back. read more

While I understand that reviewers tend to review negatively more than positively, the fact that I feel compelled to write here tonight speaks volumes. It would seem that, if Sandy is anything to judge by, this store's employees are taught to upsell at all costs. Having already listened to her try to convince two elderly customers, each with 16GB phones that were using less than 8GB, that they each needed to purchase the new 64GB iPhone 6, I was already nervous that I'd be the next name called by her. Sure enough, Sandy ignored everything I said ("I don't have many apps," "I don't even have Facebook or Twitter," "I plan to delete most current photos off my new phone") and tried to get me to go for the 64GB iPhone 6. After calling my husband to debate the question and deciding to go for the 16GB version, I returned to the desk where Sandy ignored me while looking at phone pictures on a colleague's device before finally turning to me with consummate boredom. And guess what? They didn't even have the 16GB iPhone 6 in black in stock. So she changed my plan and sent me off to the Apple store, where stellar customer service (service that, to be clear, had to undo the changes she'd done to my plan because they invalidated my upgrade) won the day. read more

It was very bad to loose phone number overnight.i had a phone number 571 340 4340 and I had it since March of 2014, on august 22 2014 I just found out that i don't have a service. I called my provider Simple mobile and they told me that I tried to change my provider and now my phone number was ported out. I went to local Verizon Wireless store at Manassas VA first and they told me they can not do anything. I called to Simple mobile again they told me that I have to call Verizon to get account and pin number in order to port it in to Simple in a same time they told me that i need to purchase new sim card and plan in order to get in back. Matter fact i have been charged on August 20 just to days before it happened for new month.I called to Verizon they told me that they can not provide me with account and pin since this number is belongs to somebody else. I explained that , I don't know how it happened but this number was mine since Yesterday. Finally on next day on 23 August 2014 I found out that whatever happened is happened in Verizon Wireless Store in 11830 Spectrum Center , Reston ,VA 20190. I drove to that location, I have talked to the manager name Antquan Rainey and he told me that they port it out my phone by mistake. One of the customer had very similar number with one digit different and they port my phone number out by mistake. I dont know how people can do this, I could not retrieve my old phone number and now i am without a line and number. I am very busy person I have export business and everybody knows my current phone number. This location and unprofessional people on that location just put me down, I have spent $40 to try to retrieve my phone number and still if i could i had to purchase a plan for $40. But worst happened , I lost $40 plus all my saturday driving here there and sitting on the phone and plus half day on Sunday. Since 22 August of 2014 i am without a line trying to get my number back. 5 days for the person that all the work is done by phone. Do not go there, they are retarded, place caused me a lot of problem and damages , only thing Solution manager Antquan said I am sorry, Put you sorry somewhere else in you ! I told him that i will put reviews he said you are welcome to do it , it means he does not care. But people think, if today you not pay attention to my story then do not cry if you get deeply penetrated by this people Do not spent so much money on verizon go to simple mobile or other ones are cheap 40 $ a month for everything. read more

Another absolutely useless experience at this store. I basically had to remind the manager and employee about what their policy actually is - as long as an order is unopened you can return it to the store without a $35 restocking fee. These idiots, including the manager, didn't know how to remove the restocking fee from my account. Really, sir? You, the manager, don't know how to remove a charge?! Either you are deeply stupid or you think I am. So I called customer service. They verified that the policy was as I thought and told them to remove the fee. They still claimed to not know how. The customer service rep was actually astounded by their stupidity and incompetence, too. Then, the store employee suggested that I go home and print out a return shipping label. So after inconveniencing me with your stupidity and being absolutely useless, you think I should return home and do your job? No, so I had him print the return label. The only reason I'm staying with Verizon is because the phone customer service is so good. This store is trash. Everyone in it is trash. And how the employees look shouldn't matter... But when you look like that, you need to be great at what you do, kind, intelligent and everything else good. read more

I cannot believe how the rep named Juan in this verizon store treated customers. I walked into the store after doing a lot of research about switching to verizon and taking advantage of the deal available. I was shocked at how rude the rep Juan treated me and I completely lost the interest to buy the phone even though I was sure about it before walking into the store. He not only did not have full understanding of the deals available and I had to remind him and show him what I found on the verizon website, but also he questioned me in a very arrogant attitude. He said he is never wrong because he has been working for verizon for many years. In addition, he did not have any interest in talking about the phones I inquire about, which is his job. He really was not professional and all I could feel from talking to him was that he had too big of ego and should not work as a rep in the store. The whole time his face was full of arrogance and despise. The worst thing was, he said several times that I need to understand the deal is not that the phone is not for free and I still need to pay, which was extremely rude because that means he does not think I can afford it. How condescending a rep could be like that in the verizon store ????!! read more

I have given this store a few chances and every time I go, the service is terrible. One of the customer service reps, Eric Z, is the biggest jerk. He was condescending and made me feel very stupid. My mom has had him before and swore off this Verizon location because of him. Stay away if you can! read more

I would never go back to verizon home service again. Their tech's have no knowledge about their own equipment. Called to trouble shoot internet why I was not getting 50 download, his response was their servers might be down and said that he would followup with me in a week after troubleshooting for over an hour. He ran the same tests that I did and got the same results. Never received a call back so i cancelled the service. Called customer service, which is even worse, my daughters could do a better job of how to talk to customers, no respect. Explained since i was not provided with the internet service that they promised, to offer me a least a 10 credit. Denied by the supervisor. She stated that It was my equipment, BS. Connected a 1500.00 laptop directly to the modem/router and still got 20 mb of download. Connected 5 different devices and still the same result. Supervisor kept on saying I can let you talk to our TECH department, WHY. I dont have your service any more and if they could not figure out the first time, how could they figure it out this time. I got 3 accounts with them and canceling them all. I would recommending doing a speedtest on your internet every other day to make sure that you are getting the same speed. read more

Today my wife and I went in to trade in a phone and add a new line for my daughter. We were helped by Reza Supandi. I currently work in management at UPS, so I understand how important a customer's needs and expectations are. Reza not only helped us get everything we came in for, he went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, demonstrated superior knowledge about the products he was selling, and was able to leave a lasting impression on my entire family on how Verizon Wireless treats its customers. Truly a great experience. We were so pleased with our experience that we talked with the GM Michael. He again, exemplified the values and professionalism that Verizon Wireless shows its customers. Highly recommend everyone to check this store out. They definitely have an elite team working there! read more

Horrible. Horrible customer service by some of the most uneducated , dumbest reps I've ever run into. Jorge, our rep, had 0 interest in helping us pick up a phone we ordered for my son online with the in- store pickup. He was rude and had no idea how to resolve a price discrepancy between the website and the store. So he got his manager involved. After sitting and waiting for about 15 minutes, I went to hunt them down. They were hunkered down discussing Kristin Dunst. When I showered them the receipt on my phone showing the correct price, the manager's answer was sorry, you have to pay $50 more for an in-store pickup. Their resolution? Pay the higher price and wait for a rebate. Idiots. read more

completely agree with becca!! you're better off driving out of your way to aviod this place! luckily i only called in with a question about replacing my blackberry face plate.....the guy just kept saying "we don't make phones here" and told me that IF i had a warranty he could replace the whole phone for 50 bucks but since i bought it online i was (he basically said) SOL. so i told him that i knew the screen just pops off so i figured it would be easy to fix at a store....." we don't make phones here.".....um DUH!!!........ if u wanna feel stupid for the day stop by or call this place. they'll help you out! read more

my friend and I went to the store to buy the new Iphone x on Februry 26, when my friend was buying the phone, (Syed) business specialist mentioned that if you have any issue with the phone, you have 14 days to return or exchange it. A week after my friend bought the phone, his problem with his phone started and we went back to the store to solve the issue and (Johnathan) business specialist said that there is nothing wrong with the phone and the issue is from sim card. He changed the sim card and we still had issue with the phone and we had to restart it twice per day after that to work properly. Therefore we went back to the store and try to change the phone but the manager of store(Antquan) said that we cann't do that and we need to go to apple store to find out about the issue even due the time of the return or exchange hasn't past and still we had one day left for return or exchange. when we try to convince him that it is our right to exchange the phone if we want to before 14 days but still he didn't let us doing it and my friend couldn't , speak English fluently, that's why he asked me to go with him but when I was explaining the problem to the manager by translating for him, the manager told him speak English. first of all if he could speak English, then I wasn't there to explain every detail of what my friend said.Second, when you see someone speak another language than English but has some one to translate for him, it is so rude and it is an obvious prejudice act to tell the person speak English. The manager of the Store(Antqua) forced us to go to apple store and find out about the issue of the phone by not returning the phone. we spend 4 hours of our time by going to apple store and come back to Verizon for one phone exchange. At the end we brought a letter from the apple which shows, the phone that verizon sold to us, has issue. It was our 100% right to return or exchange the phone in 14 days but he didn't only pay attention to our right but he told us if we have more objection about this matter, he force us to go to another verizon store to exchange or return it. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen from a manager. I don't recommand this store to anyone for any kind of service. read more
