    Very grateful to Tom who helped me figure out what I wanted and was super friendly about it the whole time. Thankful to the other person (whose name I apparently didn't think to get), who helped me figure out / learn to put page numbers on my book pages for publishing. Thank you!! This place is always clean, well staffed with knowledgeable, friendly people. It looks nice in here. It's uncluttered. It's not overwhelming or confusing. It's a treat to go here!     I went in to exchange an Apple Watch because I did not like the color, and even though the store was packed with multiple prospective customers I was in and out in 15 minutes. The associate that helped me was professional and I was able to conduct the transaction in a very efficient manner. Highly recommended.

    We have had great service there. No upselling either. They ask questions to get at what you need and then go to work on fixing the problem.

    This business has relocated for unknown and unexpected reasons …read more I called in June to see if they were able to repair my Electro voice powered speaker. They said yes - Speaker brought in and 69.00 Diagnostic Fee paid - the were very efficient in determining My amplifier component was Blown -- They said I would need to pay for the replacement component up front and I authorized payment for "new amp " via credit card via textual and phone communication . I specifically told the Manager that I wanted Electrovoice OEM replacement components- They said no problem and speaker would be ready in approx 2 weeks . Segway -- 3 months later - they said delay was that they Did not have a Technician on Staff and job was on hold till they could find a replacement technician. I became somewhat suspicious when the manager kept trying to sell me on idea of getting a custom replacement speaker -- Told him , No Thank you sir-- Then he tells me That the future for investing was Cryptocurrency and they had a on site Bitcoin Vending Machine - that worked by digital payment . I told him I was Not interested and we needed to focus on the task of repairing my speaker. I had made multiple calls over the summer to check on the status . The Manager would not return my calls by text nor cellphone conversation. However, when I utilized someone else's phone with a different # , he would pick up the phone and answer promptly . I went there to see WTF was going on . He assured me that it was a labor issue . He needed more time. Long story short - he has some ? " Technician" "complete the repair" . I go to pick it up and notice that there is an aftermarket Brand Amp ... I said this was not what we agreed on . He stated when the initial tech ordered replacement OEM amp - it did not fit I said to him- that he did not order the correct Mfg OEM Why ? Because I personally called Electro voice in Greer SC and gave them the serial number and part numbers on back of matching speaker. They verified they had exact replacement and also offer a factory revamp and repair of my unit . I thought one stop connect would be a faster and effective solution I was totally Fooled by this Con artist -- I now have a speaker with incorrect bootleg part that still doesn't function properly -- I called to ask for refund and I would return the Bootleg amp . The manager has now moved the business ( He said that something unforeseen had occurred and they were in the process of relocating to Herndon). He has stood me up with more excuses beyond reasonable and professional consideration I have been more than patient - trying to give the guy a break ( that was my Mistake ) He refuses to answer my call . I would like notify the Police but this is a Civil Matter -- I would not let these people change a light bulb in my flashlight -- This Business is unethical , unprofessional and totally inept . Guess I will resume our discussions in small Claims Court -- Bottom Line : Stay Away And I do not believe Yelp and its reviews as well .

    Awesome selection of products, very mid to poor customer service…read more There's plenty of parking at this Best Buy center, although I will say a lot of spots are taken up by police equipment and just about every time I've shopped here there is always police present; not a problem but an observation. Customer service is either average or not too good. I've shopped at this location on multiple occasions and I usually find things on my own. Most recent I went into get a TV I bought online, I bought Best Buy's Geek Squad warranty and tech support plan, and it didn't improve my experience. I waited almost 25 minutes to get through to the line and waited for them to find my order. A lady ahead of me had a smaller TV and wanted to take her TV to her car on her own, but she was met with enthusiasm & employees insisted to help support her taking it to her car. When my TV arrived the same employees assumed I was going to take the TV in purchase that was significantly bigger to my car on my own and I had to ask for assistance; I wasn't met with the same enthusiasm or any. I'd understand if it was busy, but it was pretty empty on this visit. The value of the products you'll find are average, nothing that really stands out. Best Buy's warranty through geek squad is slowly loosing its value, now there are service fees when replacing your products which their once wasn't. Their tech support plan provides 2 years of warranty and if you cancel your subscription so are all your warranty. The one benefit is that it extends your return period by 60 days which is really the only great incentive; it's a plan that's consistently changing so do your research. I will say though black Friday and cyber Monday deals have passed you can still find awesome deals along the way.

    I had a very disappointing experience at Best Buy Store #397 that reflects poorly on the store's…read moreleadership and customer service culture. I came in to return an item that I believed was covered under my Total membership plan. When I was told it wasn't eligible, I was surprised and simply asked a few clarifying questions. The associate quickly became frustrated and responded in a dismissive tone, saying there was nothing he could do. I remained calm and asked to speak with a manager, only to be told that he was the manager. I then requested to speak with the General Manager. The associate walked a few feet away to the break room where the GM, Jeffery Williams, was and discussed my situation within earshot. When Jeffery came out, he already seemed irritated. Instead of engaging professionally, he immediately cut me off mid-sentence and said, "Yeah, you don't have a warranty protection," making it clear he had no interest in helping or even listening. When I asked for his business card, he didn't address me directly. Instead, he yelled at the associate to give me a card and walked away. I've been a loyal Best Buy customer for over 15 years. I'm a credit card holder, Total member, and have purchased appliances for two homes, 8+ TVs, and multiple Apple products. This interaction was the final straw. Stefan Mcclinnahan represents exactly what's wrong with retail customer service today. There was no accountability, no effort to resolve the issue, and no basic level of respect. Experiences like this are why long-time customers walk away.
