Whereas the Apple Store estimated two to three days to repair the phone, Amine repaired the phone in 15 minutes with precision annd a much better price. Amine also gave us great advice about the current storage and considerations for future upgrades. I really try not to write one-star reviews... really. But the poor customer service and lack of follow-through are cardinal sins. I'll admit I came in with a BIG problem with my phone: it didn't wait to start up. Was it the battery? The screen? The motherboard? Online troubleshooting offered no good solutions - so into "The Phone Doctor" I took it. $25 should get me a diagnosis and a plan of action within a day or two. Awesome. I didn't really want/need the phone anymore - just hoped to recover the data (contacts, text messages, etc) for a proper transfer to a new one. Time passes... and passes. A few days later, I get a voicemail, saying they need a few more days. Okay... I am kind of a hostage in this. Drive on, good doctor. A couple more days: no update. At the two-week mark, I call them, demanding (yes, I was 'that' guy) a update or ETA. After a few back-and-forths, I was told I'd get a call the following Monday. But the tone was that of "yeah whatever - that ain't happening." And I was right. No phone call. I gave them a full week before I followed up. And when I did, I was repeatedly and apologetically placed on hold - the longest interval being over 10 minutes. Now, the person working the phone pulled the "we've tried calling you multiple times" but the call log for my new phone does not support that assertion (and I have gotten multiple calls from around the country on it, so...). And with a final deposition of "your phone is unfixable" after a more than three-week wait via their non-refundable $25 fee is bad form at best and a very disappointing result. But even if I had a pathway to full recovery of my phone health and "data wealth," I had already had enough of the shenanigans chasing a sunk cost... I picked up my still-dead phone from The Phone Doctor shortly after my last phone convo with them, and I never felt like I or my phone was a valued patient. At best, in my opinion, their staff needs to return to school for customer service basics, because - at worst - I think my experience is a case of malpractice upon a customer. read more

Apple phone batteries fail. The Phone Doctor repairs / replaced them. They have replaced cracked screens, always quickly for a reasonable price and trust only them now with my electronics. I imagine they do far more business than the ghost town bank next door. read more

The time they did it in wasn't bad at all the quality of it was trash couldn't see my screen with polarized sun glasses my mic didn't work properly after and I broke this screen in one drop went to replace it myself and found 3 screws missing and one just loose in my phone lol y'all need to stop messing peoples phones up and get a new job flipping burgers but if you can't even remember to put a screw back where you pulled it out from not sure if I'd even trust you touching my food read more

I had Phone Doctor replace the battery on my Galaxy S7 today. I had already purchased the battery and they charged me labor. The workmanship is excellent. The battery was replaced and put back together like it was never opened. I actually got my phone back better than how I brought it in. (previous battery had bloated and lifted the screen). Service was completed within 2 hours. Although they said it would take one hour and when I returned they said they needed 15 min more which ended up being about an hour. Still impressive it was done that quickly. There was a steady flow of customers so be prepared for it to take a little longer than quoted (which happens). Parking is a little tough but its in the town of Herndon so take advantage of your visit by trying out some of the local restaurants and bars. There are many options with good variety. Its a quaint little town and a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. I'll be coming back here if i need to have a component in my cell phones replaced. read more

I took my phone in to get repaired for water damage. They fixed the cracked screen that was not caused by the water damage at all but they did not fix the face ID that was cause by it. My phone died and when it was plugged back in the screen wont turn on. Even when the phone was not working at all the screen would at least light up when on or off the charger now nothing is happening. It is on and i can feel it vibrating when I plug it in. read more

I wrote a 5 star review after they fix my coffee drenched phone last year. I wish So could give 10 stars now. Out of the blue, as I was moving my Acer laptop to the back of my desk, my screen went black. Acer support was pathetic, I learned more off YouTube. Acer wanted me to pay to ship my 5 month old laptop to Texas, and this would not be covered by Warranty. Huh? Expect $300 to $400 bill and no computer for 2 weeks, with shipping time included. My laptop is my life. I thought well a monitor screen is not much different than a dead phone screen so I checked the Phone Doctor's FB page and yes they fix laptops. HALLELUJAH! I sent a PM. They responded around 6 AM and said 75 dollars plus parts. I brought it in at noon, it was fixed by 1:30, I barely finished my venti coffee at Starbucks and they phoned me to get it. With tax it was around $175. Second time in less than a year this shop fixed a critical piece of tech of mine at a fair price with the best customer service. I had a rush assignment sent to me later in day, again they saved my butt big time. All businesses should run this way, fair price, fast service, high professionalism, and just kind people. I have a IPhone 8 with a bend frame, I brought it the same morning to another store they told me to take it to apple. I just moved recently to the northern Virginia area so I really depend on my phone/gps. I walked in at 10:50, they told me it will be done at 11:30 and my phone was fixed at 11:15. WARNING: Either they are incompetent at their trade or they are thieves, maybe both. I was visiting my parents and I took my phone in on Tuesday (11/24) with a cracked screen. This "phone repair" shop offers two different fixes, a $109 option and a $199 option. I thought great, I'll go with the cheaper option. A few hours after picking up my phone, it was in hysterics. It was as if a ghost was touching every button on my phone. It was trying to make emergency phone calls all through the night until I finally turned the useless thing off. I go back the next day (11/25) and let them know the problem. They let me know it was a defective screen and I let them know I did not live in the area and wouldn't be able to come back if it wasn't fixed this time. They GUARANTEED a fix. I picked up my phone and they said they had fixed the problem. Off I go, back home. As if an episode of de ja vu, my phone screen was doing the exact same thing, then went dark entirely. It was completely useless. I had no other option but to go the next day to a repair place in my location (iTouch phone repair) and get it fixed again ($155 + $109 at this point). They ran a diagnostic and confirmed it was another defective screen. Then they fixed it and has worked ever since. I called the "Phone Doctor" to let them situation and request a refund and I was met with dismissiveness and a "not my problem" attitude. At one point, the owner listed off the people who should have to pay for this problem then basically landed on me to be the one to do it. I even offered the diagnostics and receipts. No success. It's unfortunate when a business can't do their job correctly (after given 2 chances) and the consumer has to suffer. I grew up in Herndon and have never been so let down by a business or a customer experience. I have let friends/family to avoid like the plague unless they just plan to donate money to the owner and "team" behind this scheme. read more

Do not bring your phone here to get screened fixed!!! Pay $20 more and bring it to Apple and get it fixed right the first time. I payed $139 dollars to have my sons iphone8 screen fixed and had to eventually after (3 bad screens or bad fixes) got to apple and pay them $159 to get it fixed so that it is working. After the third bad screen instead of having them fix it again I demanded a refund, they refused saying this time the problem was not caused by external damage that may have been caused by too much pressure. Not true!! The screen was intact and it had been less than 2 days since they "fixed" it for the 3rd time. Either they are getting their screens from a 3rd party that is not reliable or the work they are doing when reconnecting the parts is not reliable. Not sure what the problem was but Apple was able to fix the screen on the first try with a reliable warranty for only $20 more... I have never written a bad review but even gave the management plenty of time to make this right and they never returned our call!! So hopefully I can save someone else the time and money. read more

I believe These guys are honest and accurate. I've had a screen replaced on my sons phone and they told me how much it would cost and how long it would take and that is what it ended up being. Two months later my wife dropped her phone in the sink. Since the water sensor was tripped, Apple would only offer to replace the phone. She hadn't backed it up in a while so there was a lot of things on the phone she needed. The guys at the phone doctor told me it would take some time, but they would trouble shoot the phone to determine what went wrong and fix it and try to keep the data. They called me every few days to let me know they were still working on it and after a week they said they isolated the issue and were able to repair it saving the data. I will continue to recommend them and will use them again if my family has any more issues. A phone is just like other items, they will break. If you don't want or can't afford to buy a new phone, give phone doctors a chance. They will surprise you with their skills and honest business. read more

The service from the friendly people here is only matched by the excellent work that they do. I came in with my laptop, and the screen was completely broken, and they even noticed it was bent (and said they would try to fix that, too!). Not only did they do an AMAZING job (restoring the digitizer and everything), but they fixed the bent part so you can barely tell, and cleaned the ports, too, AND they did all of this in just a couple of days!!! I was really worried about the cost (checking online, I thought I was sure to get a $300 bill), but they only charged me $170 (and let me pick up my laptop on a holiday)! Based on the great reviews here, I went out on a limb and called to ask about having a baby monitor repaired (Motorola MBP36). Amin told me he would give it a look. The on / off switch had become completely unusable and the power jack was loose / broken so that it was very difficult to charge the monitor. While I waited, he opened the handset (which involved de-soldering the speaker connections), found the broken leads, re-soldered them, added solder to strengthen the power jack, and re-assembled the monitor. I was very happy to pay for the labor and my monitor works like new! Replacing the monitor would have cost $170. I plan to return here to have our family's iPhones repaired based on the great experience I had. read more

This is an outstanding business. I give them my highest rating! The screent on my wife's IPhone 7 Plus was shattered. The phone was unusable.
