My phone had issue when talking other person could not hear. The young man noticed it was dirty at the mic area. He cleaned it with a vacuum. One time before, phone was on some wired access settings where I couldn't even get my phone to do what I want. It was real frustrating. Great customer service too. read more

Dropped off phone on a Monday morning. They didn't even turn it on until Thursday evening to troubleshoot after I called. I know because I set the find my phone to alert me when turned on and it never turned on until then. They kept telling me they were waiting for parts when I'd call. I took it home finally on Friday evening when they said they couldn't fix it. I opened the phone myself and they never had even opened it! The screws still had dirt around them and there was still moisture inside! They stole my $80 basically. Do not trust this place! read more

Scammers! Took a Playstation in for repairs, they charged my CC, said they fixed the disc drive and gave me a completly different playstation in return. I would not accept the dirty, non working console and they tried saying "this was the one I took in." Filing a complaint with the BBB, CC company and the Springfield Sheriff's Office. Beware of Ali and Fraz Khalid. Thank you. read more

complete ripoff!! i paid 320 for a new screen and was told it came with 90 day warrenty. The very next day it wouldnt turn on so i took it in and they said they saw a scratch just to get out of it. the warrenty litterally means nothing, there was no cracks on the phone. i took it to ifix it and he said there where 2 screws missing inside and it wasnt even closed properly. dc unlocked are a complete rippoff and they know they're in the wong. save your money go somewhere else read more

Nothing more frustrating than a cracked phone screen! Requested quotes to replace screen through Yelp and got multiple quotes DMV gave a good price- walked in and 30 minutes later new screen installed and I'm back in action read more

I cracked the glass on one of my camera lenses (iPhone 12 pro) and they did a great job replacing it! I don't have insurance and Apple said I would have to buy a whole new phone to get it fixed. Some friends recommended this place and they got it done in 30 minutes for a very affordable price. Camera is good as new! read more

My husband broke his iPhone X in the back and we were pretty worried we would be charged some ridiculous amount of money (because other places had quoted us at high prices and needed 3-4 days to fix his phone) but here they took us the same day and had the phone fixed in two hours for a pretty good price. They even threw in a discount for a screen protector and case! The workmanship was amazing and you couldn't even tell it wasn't the original glass backing. Definitely recommend. read more

Do not go here. They replaced my screen next day phone was not working again went back in and the told me I must have done something wrong and they would not repair. Went to apple store and they said screen was a cheep Chinese knock off and that they had not put my phone back together properly. Screws where missing. Apple fixed and replaced everything and only charged me 60 more then what I paid this rip off place. Do not use them. read more

Have gone to them a couple of times for iphone repairs. They are much cheaper and seem to fix phones that even the Apple store said was not repairable. read more

Came here based on the reviews, as my husband and I both were having phone issues. They looked at his phone and said that they could fix it, but that it was under manufacturer's warranty and therefore Apple should fix it for free. On mine, they took it apart and cleaned and said it wasn't the issue I had expected so didn't charge. It's so rare to find businesses that truly act in the best interest of customers rather than their bottom line. It was refreshing and much appreciated- this will definitely be our go-to spot from now on! read more

I came in today with a load of problems wrong with my phone and there wasn't a single problem that they couldn't handle. I also arrived pretty late and they were so professional that they stayed open for another half hour to 45 minutes just to make sure I was satisfied with my whole repair. I really appreciate all of the help that I received from Ali and Ahmed and seriously this company is the best in the business right now! Amazing 5 star Service!! read more

Dishonest and will say anything to get a sell. I got my iPhone 12 max pro screen and battery fixed for $320 with an aftermarket screen they said was good quality. I was hesitant but was told they have 90 day warranty. Well very next day it stopped working so took it in and first they did was get a magnifying lense and said they saw a scratch and they don't cover cracks. When I asked if they had a warranty they said yeah no worries just bring it back and then the very next day they're telling me to screw off lol. I googled the screen they gave me it costs $84 and when I took it to another shop they couldn't believe a shop was selling that crap. When they took it off he flexed it a tiny bit and the whole thing spider Webbed then he did it to an Apple screen and of course no problems. I paid $400 at the other shop for a new back glass and an actual Apple screen while dmv unlocked charged me $320 for a $84 knockoff and battery. I'm scared about even keeping the battery in they gave me. Don't go here these people have zero ethics. They got me for $300 hopefully I can save someone else though read more

Rude staff. Ignored me and spent all time playing games on the phone and talking to friend. Maybe the guy is racist I don't know but he no like us in the store. We leave quickly and won't return. Other cell phone stores in Springfield were were helpful. Go to other shop for a good service and nice staff read more

This little storefront, amidst an ethnic community of shops, restaurants and a post office, is an international mecca of services. The brand new make-over is raising the esteem of the center after a long, hard, winter of snow, dirt and scaffolding for days. All of that is coming off to reveal a well-thought out, clean, modern aesthetic. . . Tucked between two Asian businesses is DMV Unlocked Wireless - with postings all over Craig's List. I was led to Fraz, the owner's son who is nothing less than an Unlock - guru. I've returned several times because my phones, used and new weren't responding properly (no fault of DMV) because of upgrades and other technical difficulties. Fraz tackled all the problems, one by one with patience, tenacity, expertise - all with a warm smile and sincere gratitude. The attitude with which he greeted me, made it easy to return to learn something new each time. Alas, my phone is up and running and I'm back on circuit - not only have I learned a lot about unlocking phones and the various ways it can be done, but I'm loyal to one place and one guy who's willing to take on any unlock phone challenge (apparently), no matter what! Ask for Fraz - you won't be disappointed! read more

Update! I went back in on Tuesday 12/23 and paid another $75 for a replacement screen because it was loose and on top of that I dropped it at a holiday party on Saturday night and it was cracked pretty bad. The guys at DMV Unlocked Wireless were great, always friendly and the replacement was done in less than an hour and it looks amazing! We will see if it makes it through the 90 day warranty period! Fingers are crossed! Thank you guys! read more

They're incompetent and liars. Couldn't only repair my broKen screen, but also erased all the information on it. Each time I called about and update, they kept telling me, "The tech is working on it." They ordered the wrong part and it supposedly didn't work several times. They had the audacity to claim I gave permission to risk losing the data on the phone when each time I called, I specially asked to ensure the data was in tact. ***DO NOT GO HERE!*** read more

Came in for a screen repair which took less than 30mins and came with a one week warranty. Their price is by far the best in the area because I called many different places that gave me a far more hefty price tag for the same service! Would recommend to anyone! read more

Like other reviewers, this was the first time I've taken my iPhone to anyone outside the appleverse. I diagnosed the problem myself (thanks YouTube) and looked at the videos related to the likely cause of the problem. My screen was locked with lines appearing on it - which rendered the phone unusable. I called the place based upon other reviews from Yelp. The picked up the phone right away and I drove over. I walked into the store and was greeted professionally. They listened to me and prior to doing the work took the phone apart and showed my what was going on. Ultimately I replaced the LCD at a cost of $75. Works great! And the best part? There appears to be a good Indian restaurant, and several other restaurants in the same shopping area, so you can grab some good food and a cold drink while you wait! read more

Do not let them replace your screen. I went to them because I shattered my iphone 6 screen and they used cheap glue to attach the replacement screen. The screen eventually came completely detached after three weeks and wouldnt even stay inside my case. When I took it back, they added MORE glue and now my screen is not even all the way sealed at the edges. My phone now has glue coming out of it and has dried glue all around it. This place did more harm than good to my phone and Im not sure even Apple will be able to undo the mess. I just waisted valuable time and over a hundred bucks. Terrible job and business! read more

Guy working there didn't listen to me *at all* regarding the problem I was having with my cell, then treated me like I was a complete idiot.. like there actually wasn't a malfunction with it. Got my screen fixed here and they did an amazing job! Took only 30 minutes and I felt like I got a brand new phone -- and mine was in bad shape. Great customer service as well! Love these guys. I'll tell all my friends about you, DMV Unlocked! read more

Worst! they even don't deserve one star. I have been shopping/repairing phones for the last 2 years here. I always trusted them but I realized that they are a big cheater. They sold me a phone 50$ more expensive than its market value. And when I found out about it I returned it on the next day for which they charged me $45. They have no respect for customers no matter how frequently you buy, except for money and thier business. Very much disappointed in them but really learned a good lesson that one MUST never trust a filty businessman. And don't be cheated at appearance and innocence look of people. May God guide you and read more

Great service! I've had multiple cracked screens replaced here and the service has always been great. Highly recommend them.

I have been to DMV Unlocked a number of times throughout the years for everything from cracked screens to new batteries. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. Service is always quick, but there is a lot to do in the area, so you can easily wait at a coffee shop or restaurant while your phone is being fixed. I have had to fix a number of screens and have not had any issues. Recently, I had to do a full battery swap on my iPhone 6. The service took no more than 30 minutes and my phone is as good as new now. All in all, reliable store, great prices, and amazing customer service. read more

Great customer service! I unlocked my Samsung galaxy s4 for a very good price. It's a very clean and organized area.

Called this location to confirm if they could replace the battery in my phone, which they said they could. I then stopped to open a work ticket, they said they would have to order a battery and would call me the next day when it came in so I could drop off my phone. Received a call the next day that the incorrect battery was ordered, they would need another day for the correct one to arrive. Received a call that the battery was in, dropped off the phone and they said should be ready for pick up the following day. Went to pick up the phone only to be told the technician cracked the screen during battery replacement and they would need to order a replacement screen which should arrive the following day. They did provide a loaner phone in the meantime. Received a call the following day that my phone was ready, everything appeared to be operational however when I got home the biometric reader was not functioning properly. Called the store, they said bring it back, it will need to be calibrated and should take about 20 minutes. Took another drive back to the store to drop off the phone for calibration. Asked how long and they said about 20 minutes. I asked if they would need to open up the phone again and was told no. Came back about 20 minutes later and was told they would need another hour and would have to open up the phone which meant another chance for a broken screen. At this point I asked to the phone back as I needed my phone for the next several days and will now need to make another trip (5 total so far) for a fairly standard battery replacement. Will follow up on how things work out when I take it back in. read more

Great service at a great price. How is it that these guys can do screen repair at a lower price and in half the time as other places? They even found out that my last repair done elsewhere was subpar and they didn't even replace all the screws. I came in without an appointment and they replaced my cracked 5S screen in 25 minutes for $75. I recommend that everyone stop searching for faster service or lower price and just go here for all your mobility repair, accessories and services. read more
