It took them a day to replace it, which was great. They also took great care to test out all the keys. I went into get my fiancé's laptop. Turan was very nice and provided excellent customer service. He explained the whole process. Shortly after writing my original review he gave us a call explaining what was going on. Since a small a business it is a small operation so other employees are just running the shop and not always aware of what Turan is doing so can't provide customers information as to what specifically is going on with their computer. RIP OFF. DO NOT GO THERE. IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD. I went to get a cracked screen on my Samsung S5 changed because they said they had the parts in stock and could do it in less than an hour. I showed up and the staff was friendly, the price was good and he said they could even upgrade me to tempered glass in a half hour to an hour. DEAL. I watched him pull the part off the rack and send the phone to the back room. No sooner did I get home but the troubles began. First, the tech called and said they didn't have the black screen in stock after all (huh?) and would white be OK? Sure, I don't care...I just needed my phone back for a business trip the next day. He rogered up and said it would be ready in an hour. No problem. Two and a half hours later...no phone, so I called the shop. Whomever answered the phone said the repair guy was busy with a customer and would call me right back. A half hour later, no call, so I drove to the shop to see what was up. I asked for the status of my phone and the tech came out, not only holding my phone, but a USED WHITE S5 THAT HE WAS TRYING TO PRY THE SCREEN OFF OF. Talk about ballsy! I asked what the deal was and he said "I can't get it off- it's tough, and I'm not sure if it is compatible". WTF??? The guy admitted to me that he was trying to give me a used part that he wasn't sure would work. What happened to the real part that I saw the other guy pull off the wall? Probably some piece of crap that they use as a prop. Seriously. The tech said that if I left my phone, maybe he could find the right part and get it swapped out in a day or two. Um...NO. I took my phone and left. On my way out, I noticed (as I should have before) that all the phones and parts they sell are some sort of third world knock-offs- brands that I haven't seen anywhere else except maybe in a stop or two in the middle east and Asia. Definitely NOT name or OEM brand. What's scary is that this shop was referred to me by the local Verizon store. I made a point of driving straight there and letting them know what happened. The fine staff there apologized and in fact, sold me a new S5 and set it up for me for about the same price the repair would have cost me. NOW THERE is customer service. Bottom Line: Don't go to Geeks Zone. Or Transformers Computer. Or whatever they will call themselves tomorrow (the sales ticket has one name rubber stamped over the other). read more
