I made an appointment via Samsung Care + to have the back glass on my S24Ultra replaced. I came in for the appointment and the employee working to open the store (appt was for 10AM, right when they opened) was friendly and helpful. But he advised he had to take the phone and couldn't work on it for at least another hour when the next employee showed up for work. I came back the next day and it was ready to be picked up. The repair was perfect, couldn't tell the back glass was new, not the one that came on it. Would highly recommend them, but they need to do a better job keeping appointments and doing the work when the appointment is made, I can drop off a phone anytime, don't need an appointment for that. read more

I came in with a cracked screen (been cracked for almost a year, wasn't giving me any issues, but it was cheaper to get the screen fixed than to buy a new phone, as this one is paid off already.) So i dropped my phone off for the screen to be fixed in May, I got my phone back and left happy with a new screen! Until about a week later my screen started "ghost tapping) opening apps, face timing people, skipping my youtube video i was watching. So I ended up bringing to back thinking maybe they just didn't clean it well before putting the screen on, hell i don't know. I drop it off and come back in 4 hours. He brings out my phone and the screen will turn on but now my touch sensor doesn't even work. I can't put in my password, I can't swipe to open my phone, my face id isn't even working. my phone is useless. I asked for a refund and he hesitated and was going to tell me no until his manager said to get me a refund. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to any friend of mine, I wouldn't trust these armatures with a jitterbug. read more

This post is about Asurion in general. This company does not stand by its products or it's customers. On their website they advertise that they cover everything even wear and tear. I bought their warranty on a generator I have and the spark plug burned out after only eight hours of use. The tech that repaired it even said that it was unusual and that it was probably a faulty plug. Asurion would not cover it even though I paid $250 for a two year warranty. I feel kinda bad being the first one to post a review, but it has to be done. At first, I told another Rep, I didn't want to make a big deal. They were really nice, but when the device stopped working properly; it was the last straw. Here's the full breakdown of my review. When it comes to rating a service, I look for 1) efficiency, 2) Strong knowledge of their policies/products and 3)Attention to detail 4) Overall quality service/product. My husband and I came here to replace his phone screen. While checking in, I asked the Rep about the Liquid glass product for our smart watches. They provided a solid talk up. I asked about the any issues with existing scratches and they said it wouldn't be a problem. Additionally, the product would simply seal the small scratches and won't interfere with usage. We provided another phone number to reach us and left. Two hours later, we got a call. .5 Star deduction. They told me they weren't able to apply the liquid glass on devices that had prior scratches due to past insurance fraud issues. Um I specifically asked that question, for $140 you should at least recheck the policy. Now I have to wait 2-3 days for my refund. 0.5 deduction for inconvenience. 1 Star deduction for efficiency. I was told the part in stock was defective, meaning they weren't able to do the replacement. It shouldn't take two hours to conclude the part is isn't going to work out. 1 Star deduction for quality,after waiting for another 30 minutes, the phone was returned with the screen not seated properly in the phone case. First you tell me you can't complete the job, and you can't put the phone back the way you got it? 1 star deduction for attention to detail, The rep gave us the wrong contact information and claim number to reach the insurance company for a full replacement. They had called the insurance company a few moments before we came to pick up our items. After everything the very least you can do is double check the information. Update: TJ, the owner quickly contacted me and tried diligently to resolve the matter. Even offered to personally to fix the device. Unfortunately, we already made arrangements with the insurance company to send a complete replacement. Seems like a pretty good business to have electronics protected in case of anything going wrong. From what I understand they try to figure out whether it's a hardware or software issue and keep you informed of their progress. They seem very helpful at the Stafford Virginia location. I think the manager, Xavier does a good job and I hope the staff in the back end that you can't see perform with pride and excellence so that anything I leave them for cleaning or repair will come back protected and clean without issues. Signed up for this coverage and they deducted monthly premiums through PayPal but when I tried to use it to cover a repair no one had a record of my account, payments, nothing. Yet they continue to attempt collecting payments from my PayPal. Impossible to deal with. Do not recommend. read more

I was told my phone repair would take 2-4 hours. I walked into the store after 4 1/2 hours of waiting to find out they never repaired my phone. I would have been fine with it I knew it was going to be repaired the next day. What I'm NOT okay with is they never informed me so I waited around for 4 1/2 hours. What a waste of time.. They were pretty unprofessional about it when I wanted my phone back, I could hear them complaining in the back. I would never recommend this place. read more

this is the most I've been confused about a business , there was a lack of communication for no reason. after phone diagnosis they let me know it was the backscreen, front screen and a part they needed to replace , phone went in Thursday parts came in Saturday as they stated , Tuesday comes i go to get the phone and they say its not ready yet and the reason why undisclosed? okay they say Wednesday should be ready . Wednesday I call its not. Thursday , I go in they tell me that THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE CAMERA? but in diagnosis there was nothing wrong with it ???? well apparently whoever was working on it did something wrong and messed it up and they have to order parts again, in conclusion they could have just let me know straight up instead of leading me on each day, the African American male who is the manager was very helpful, he gave me a loner phone and discounted the repair which was genuine of him it wasn't out of pitty he truly was sorry , great man deserves a raise! read more

Modding this from 5 stars to 1 star. They previously did a great job on my iPhone. Had them fix a cracked iPad screen. I got the iPad back and the screen was fixed but the charging port no longer worked. Called the store to complain and they insist it was entirely coincidental it happened while in their possession, it couldn't possibly be their fault because they don't touch the charging port during repair, and it doesn't matter anyway because screen repair warranty doesn't cover the charging port. A quick google search of "iPad won't charge after screen replacement" shows that their response is bs. Better yet, when my wife called the store to complain their response was "oh you're the lady who called earlier about this?" She hadn't called earlier. Someone else was complaining about the exact same thing. After getting no where with the manager at the Stafford store we decided to go through corporate. That seemed promising at first but has come to a full stop and not led anywhere. read more

I came to this establishment because of an issue with my Ipad I dropped it and the screen wasn't working properly. When I dropped it off I was told that it could take awhile as insurance orders took precedent. I was given a window of time the device would be worked. I should have known then things weren't going to go well. They missed the deadline and the progress didn't update. So I called back in to get an update. I was told that the repair had been made and to come pick up my device. Upon picking up my device I played with it a little and saw there were some issues. I wanted to give it a little time as the worker said they had just turned the iPad on. I was told I had a 90 day warranty and if I had any problems bring it back and they would take care of it. I walked to my car with the device and the problems got progressively worse. Before pulling away I came back inside and showed the employee the issues. He tried to troubleshoot the issue to no avail and wasn't sure what was causing the issue. He mentioned it could be the update the ipad needed as well as some other potential issues as well. I was unhappy to hear this as I would have thought they would have tested the iPad more thoroughly before telling me to come pick it up. I decided to give back the iPad so they could do further testing. Days past and I was finally told to come back as the iPad was ready. I came in and tested the screen and it was better, but they agent mentioned they couldn't secure the screen all the way due to a housing issue. They mentioned that could cause some problems, but if it does bring the iPad back. NEVER was I told this wasn't covered or that this was the main issue. By the time I got home the iPad was back to messing up not just in the corner where it was lifting but the entire screen. Due to travel and other reasons I was unable to get back into the business for some time. I finally returned to the business to show that the issue was never fixed and the same problems I had in the beginning I was still having. The employee again tried to troubleshoot it to no avail. I checked in the iPad and left. Days later I get a call saying that they are unable to fix the issue and I will have problems with the iPad going forward, but there is nothing they can do. I was very upset as I had already paid my $250 and my iPad wasn't fixed. After going back and forth with the Manager we agreed that I could get a refund and that due to them already throwing away my original screen the only option was to give me my iPad back with no screen. This was laughable to me, but for the sake of being able to be done with this company and situation I agreed. Days later I receive a call that after speaking with the owner they can no longer honor my refund, but that they have now fixed the issue. I asked for an explanation on why I was now no longer eligible for a refund and I was told I had agreed to take the iPad so I was responsible. 1. That was never communicated to me. 2. What is the point of having a warranty if they don't have to fix the problem? At this point I paid $250 for an ipad repair which is about the price of a brand new iPad and the options are pay more money for another housing or keep the paper weight that now is my iPad. I asked to speak with the owner and was told he has other more important things to deal with so he will call me when he gets to it. Rarely in my life as a paying customer have I been more insulted or angry about the miserable service I have received. Currently I am waiting to speak with the owner whenever he finds time. I will update the review after that conversation...whenever that happens. It's really a shame when you try to help your community by going to a local business and you get treated this poorly.
