Super weird over the phone. Asked if they had a replacement battery for my mac book, wouldn't tell me if they had it but then started asking me personal questions even before addressing my concerns. Then asked me to bring it in, at this point I still don't even know if they have a replacement available or even pricing. I asked if they even had the battery I needed and what the price was and why the 5th degree and all of the sudden they had it and a price. Super rude, super weird. Got the feeling they felt like I was dealing in ill gotten gains, meanwhile I just wanted to support a local business and replace a part on an a 10 year old computer that I probably couldn't give away at this point. Mike (who I think is the owner) always has a smile on his face and Sebastian is fabulous! You might think that batteries would be a very boring topic but the store is thriving even during the pandemic. It's largely because the owner of the store is very knowledgeable and can provide a range of services that you can't find elsewhere. For example they could fix just about any device that has an old battery in it by creating a custom battery pack for it. Good selection of LED lightbulbs. Also a good selection of automated light solutions. They do a lot of business swapping in replacement batteries for cell phones, tablets, and laptops also. I came in to get a watch battery replaced and was in and out in about 5 minutes. It was my first time in, and they seem to have every kind of battery you could imagine. Mike stopped what he was doing to help me quickly, and he was so nice! I just saw a ton of great comments about the store on nextdoor, and it reminded me that I had intended to leave this review after my visit. People have been raving about the help they got to get everything from their weed wacker to cell phone to their 30 year old car battery fixed/replaced! When this shop first opened, I was not sure I would ever go there, thinking I could get just about everything at Home Depot...but I was wrong! The first time I went there, I was looking for a battery for my son's electric scooter, and it was a battery like I'd never seen before. I walked in the shop with the battery in my hand and Mike (the owner) says "Ah, a scooter battery" and I immediately knew I was in good hands. A few minutes later I'm walking out with the right battery....and a new flashlight, and a mental note that they do watch batteries and car batteries too. The next time I went in the shop, I was looking for some obscure lightbulbs for a light fixture I had ordered over the internet. Mike said he had never seen bulbs like that before- really long, super thing fluorescent bulbs, and while he didn't carry them, he spent time doing research and found them. He was completely honest with me and told me that in order for him to make money on them he would have to order a bulk amount, which he would never sell, so he would charge me more than the internet site would, so he printed out the page and I ordered the bulbs myself. Sure, he "lost" a sale there, but his honesty has brought me back to the store time and time again. All my watch batteries have been replaced there, FiOS batteries a couple times, and a car battery for my old Chevy. Each time I go there I come out with a new super beam flashlight...it's becoming a bad habit, but they are awesome! The staff are exceptional people- very knowledgeable and extremely nice. I've visited the store several times and have always been impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is, but my visit the other day was absolutely amazing. My daughter's science class offered an extra credit project involving light bulbs so we stopped by the shop. The owner truly went out of his way -- even doing some research on his own to help! Can't remember the guys name who helped me but he was really nice and patient with me and my replacement for a battery. I needed a new cell phone battery that was hard to find so I called Batteries Plus and spoke with an employee named Kenny. Kenny checked and said they had them in stock. I asked him to make sure as I was about a 30 minute drive away and he assured me they had them. I drove all the way there only to find out they did not have them. Kenny had lied to me just because he was too lazy to take an extra minute and check. I spoke with the manager, Mike, and he said he would order one for me. My total time driving there and back and time I spent at the store was about an hour and a half. Couple of weeks later I get a call from employee Richard that the battery has arrived and I could come pick it up. I asked Richard if I could just pay them with my credit card and they could mail it to me. Didn't feel like driving a total of one hour again because Kenny had lied to me . He said he would check with manager Mike. Richard put me on hold and then came back and said Mike would not agree to mail it to me, that I had to pick it up. After I made one wasted trip there, they were refusing to drop it in an envelope and mail it. I finally got Mike on the phone and he refused to mail it unless I wanted to pay $8 for mailing charges. I could not believe he wanted to charge me an extra $8 after them wasting an hour and a half of my time because of Kenny. I would not agree as this was very unfair for them to try to gouge me for an another $8 after what had transpired. Mike put Richard on the phone and Richard said "if you want it or not you need to make up your mind and call back when you do" - then he slammed the phone down. The attitude of these people was outrageous, treating a customer this way when I was trying to give them my business. I would advise anyone needing a battery to avoid this place at all cost. If they tell you they have a certain battery in stock, don't believe them. Don't waste your time driving there and back. Just buy it off the internet or you might waste several hours of your time like I did. read more

The battery of my car was dying and was researching which battery I needed on the internet. I found the price on their site was a lot lower than the same Duracell battery on Amazon or what I would have paid at a garage or Costco for a battery replacement service. It was just before closing time so I called them and asked if they this battery was in stock and if they would be still open if I was a few minutes late. They said yes and thay also explained that they would replace it for me without extra costs. When I came there they already had researched how to do the work on my car and had the battery ready on the counter. It was done within ten minutes and they gave a warranty certificate for in the glove compartment. Very professional and an extremely friendly service, thanks! Made appointment to have iPhone 6 battery changed. Spencer did a wonderful job. I made the appointment online and saved $10. New battery is $59. Less hassle than going to Apple and my battery life is much better now- like new. At first Spencer said he was backed up and couldn't get my phone done right away. I impressed upon him the appointment etc. He finally agreed to get my phone done within 45 min. I left to get other errands done and returned 1 1/2 hours later. The phone was done and he mentioned the screen protector (mine had cracked when dropped and I needed a new protector). He put the screen protector on as well (for additional charge). This store really came through for me today. My cell phone died over night and I needed to get a new battery installed...TODAY. I was able to go online at 10:30 am, make an appointment for 11 am. I dropped off my phone and I got a call an hour and a half later that it was done. The staff members who were working that day were extremely helpful and proficient at their jobs. And I got an online coupon when i scheduled my appointment online so I was able to pick up a new charging cable as well. They got me back on my way ASAP. I can't say enough good things about this store. They had a hard to find watch battery - score. Installed it on the spot - double score. Total price: $4.99, talk about awesome. Having said all that the best part of this store are the employees and service. The two working this morning were uber-friendly, competent, and welcoming. They had answers to every question we had, and we wound up buying a couple other neat items that seemed too good to pass up. I've been there before for them to test my battery (Low battery charge light was on). The tech guy said its not all the way dead but do come back in a month to get it replaced. Came back as told and ordered the battery online so i can just show up and have them install it for free! I own a BMW and 2006 and on models have to be coded/registered so the battery receives the right charging and etc. Both Mike (the owner I believe) and the guy who installed and test my battery explained this to me beforehand which was awesome. Both times in person and over the phone, staff was knowledgeable and respectful. Will always go back if I need anything! read more

I really like this local shop! The staff is also very welcoming and friendly. They sell any kind of battery or light bulb you could ever imagine. I used to have to go to radio shack for certain items that they sell. They can even replace batteries in most watches. They did a great job with mine and it was fast! This place is not an authorized Apple repair shop but they told me that they were. They specifically told me that their service and battery would not void my Apple warranty and it did. My Verizon Fios battery backup unit was faulty and draining any battery that was placed in it. The folks in this store not only provided me with a replacement battery (which was $10 cheaper than Verizon's price), but also several loaner batteries to tide me over until the Verizon technicians came to fix the unit.
