    Plan on spending a couple hours being messed around with. Lots of doubletalk. Much better to do this on the phone with Verizon.

I pkaced my order at 3:24 PM and it was ready to be picked up my 3:34 PM! I headed over and when I arrived, I checked in on the app and it was updated with a button to indicate that I'm in line. We shopped for some phone accessories but didn't find anything we wanted. So we made our way to the pickup line. We were greeted immediately and I mentioned that I was picking up an order. The cashier scanned my phone and quickly pulled my order. I checked it and it was exactly what I ordered. The cashier said thanks for the order and we were on our way out. Overall, the service was the winner here. Staff was friendly and the item I purchased was $100 off where every other store I checked online had it for regular price. I highly recommend buying from this location as the staff is quick to gather your online order and they are very nice at this store.

Walked into the store which was like a ghost town. I saw maybe a few customers walking around. Looked for a salesperson which took a few minutes to track down. After I told her want I wanted, she responded that she is too busy with another customer, that i should go to the front and they will find someone to help. I did just that and there was no one in teh front. Again seeing an employee with a blue jacket walk buy i asked for some to help me get the iWatch, he said that I should wait by the display and he will get someone to help me. Waited another 10 minutes and walked back to the front again and this time there was a greeter person. I asked her that I know what i want, I do not have any questions, just need for someone to give me the product. She said that everyone is busy and that it will be 15-20 minutes. I said the "The store is empty why so long", to which she replied that everyone is busy. I told her that I should have gone to an Apple Store. I waited for about 10 minutes and walked up to her again. With an annoyed expression she said that "sorry no one is available right now". I said this is unacceptable and l am leaving to an Apple Store (which I would need to drive about 10 miles. She said "I am sorry but we are short staffed". I said yes you are and whose problem is that". You don't even understand what the problem is. I drove to an Apple Store in Deerpath, and walked in. Wall to wall people and about 25 salespeople. Got attention immediately, the associate brought me the product I wanted, I paid for it and left in about 8 minutes. Drove to ABT because I wanted to look at some grills. Again packed with people, I got a salesperson immediately who walked me through the options. Best Buy VH is grossly mismanaged. You have a customer walking in the store wanting to spend $900 and is unable to do so with the store having the product. But its more than that. Its the company culture, I can see it in the attitude, the behavior and most important by the customer experience. very different attitude and experience in Apple Store and Abt Inc. The decision was based on his professionalism, reliability and never having made me feel like he was just trying to sell me (like the Magnolia guys at Best Buy). After working with us by adjusting the products we were purchasing to meet our budget, we hired Devin and his team. We are very glad we did. He showed up on time, figured out our mess of a wiring system left behind by previous owners, and in less time than he expected. I was out of town when they installed and he worked with my wife. She never felt intimidated by the technology after he showed her how to use it (and she can't find Netflix on our TV). I have never been disappointed, I had my last computer for years, which was stolen by neighbors in an apartment below us, however since I had just purchased a new hard drive 2TB & stored the old ones, (thanks to the advice of a Microcenter employee) the thieves were seriously disappointed! I don't know if that's the case, but it kind of feels that way. A lot of stuff here are brands I've never heard of, but you can find brand name stuff here (Apple, Belkin, Targus, JBL, etc). We came here to buy an external hard drive after the current one decided to die. When we asked an employee (I think his name was Hector), about whether or not the particular hard drive we were looking at would be right for its intended use, he was able to answer our questions. When we checked out, the cashier asked us a bunch of questions about what we were buying and if we had any questions. We asked her about protecting devices from static electricity, and she didn't have a clue about anything beyond scanning purchases and pushing the extended warranty plans. If you have questions about items here, just ask one of the employees...not a cashier. Overall, this is a nice clean store. Don't expect to find everything you're looking for. But if you need basic accessories and gaming stuff, this place has all of that.

    I have been shopping at Target Glenview since it opened over 20 years ago. I can say that I like…read moreshopping there. However, in the recent couple of years, I don't know what is wrong with their customer service department. It used to be friendly, polite, and competent. Now, their customer service, especially some of their managers, who are arrogant and unaccommodating, could easily ruin the whole shopping experience. Recently, a couple days before Christmas, my good shopping experience was ruined by the middle-age female staff, named Luba, at the self-checkout stations. Then it was further worsened by her manager Alex. When there was a discrepancy between the scanned price and the price listed on the rack, Luba refused to ask someone to verify the price or honor the posted price. Instead, she insisted the scanned price must be correct and told me that if I did not like the price, I did not have to buy the item. To avoid wasting time, I chose not to purchase one item and paid the higher price for another. At the end, I was supposed to get a gift card from a deal. Nowadays, for security reason, Target would need their staff to put a sticker on the gift card, then scan it to link it to my account. However, after Luba put the sticker on the gift card, she didn't know what to do. She kept scanning the gift card as if I was using it for the transaction. Her action made the purchase system acting weird. Then she questioned if I was eligible for the gift card, and got her boss to help. Her boss was Alex. I had dealt with him numerous of times. He never smiles, acting in a condescending way, had never accommodated. This time, he said that the system had stopped working, and he had to void the whole transaction and re-scan everything. Needless to say, I was not happy. I said it's wasting my time. Then he responded by saying "it's wasting my time too"! I said he got paid for it. The he mumbled something. What kind of attitude was that? He was the customer service manager who needed to correct the mistake made by his staff. When I said the female staff didn't know what she was doing, he dismissed it by saying that Luba usually does not work in that area. That explanation is unacceptable, she was assigned to assist customers at self-checkout and should have been properly trained. It would have been fine if both of them just apologized for my inconvenience, but neither of them did that. No sorry, no thank you, Target really need to re-train their customer service staff of the Glenview store to understand what good customer service is.

They are in a pretty large and well spaced out strip mall that includes a Kohl's, an Aldi's, and several eateries as well. We don't go here often, mainly for household knick-knack items and when coincidentally nearby, but it is one of my favorite Target locations.
