But the sleeves were so short and tight that they were cutting off circulation to my arms. And I have skinny arms. This is a quality issue. L.L. Bean sells dirt-cheap quality clothing at high-caliber department store prices. It is a total ripoff. You would be much better served going to an actual department store or even Amazon for your clothing needs.

I think it also helps with the structure and shape thus integrity of the shoe. The machine has a camera inside so you can actually see that it is spraying. This is great for some types of shoes. I plan to bring my other pairs, it doesn't have to be bought from DSW.

There is no one really walking around the floor, so you basically have to move heaven and earth to track someone down. Also, there are not enough benches (correct term?) where you try on the shoes. There is one per aisle, at most, and that doesn't work so well when it's busy. Still an issue is the whisper-at-most of AC in this store. Plenty of stores maintain a pleasant temperature - I get it if they don't want the store too cold. But here, it was hot and muggy. I felt more sweaty here than outside! It was so gross, and I didn't think I'd run into that in an indoor location, but oh well. The prices were pretty good, with the exception of the shoes that were not eligible for promotions (that might've come from above, though, like Nike corporate or Addidas corporate, and not their fault at DSW). I saved 20% off an already reasonable price by signing up for their newsletter as a ~*~*VIP~*~. The 20% off being available through that method only should've been communicated better at the outset, but oh well. I saved 20% and got some cool gym shoes, so that's good at least.

Colston arriving late was out of there control but what wasn't out of their control was how they handled the crowd and the lack of accountability in making us wait, wait without any updates. The staff allowed people to come in and there was no rhyme or reason on how the line was set up inside. The line went sideways when Colston was interviewed by Tom Waddle because everyone got out of line so those that got there earlier had people who were in back go in front. Nothing was done about this when it brought up to one of the people running the event (dark haired brunette). This is the same person that seemed to speak differently to people of color vs. caucasian people. Needless to say, there should've had a event staff run this event because it was clear, whoever ran this had little to no experience the crowd size of 200+. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth as I shared with folks ahead of tonights event at LifeTime Fitness about this event featuring performance apparel. I'll make sure to redirect them to Lululemon or Ten Thousand.

I came in just for a return and it was literally done in seconds! Absolutely no hassle or having to explain why I was making the return (had all tags and original mail order packaging). Everything I have bought from Vuori seems to hold up really well in the wash without any shrinkage, which makes it worth the extra cost.

I don't want to hit a wall once I start hitting the 8-10 mile marker so energy gels have been helping me push through with ease and REI has plenty of them. They mostly carry the GU brand and HoneyStinger. I've been trying out flavors and found a couple that I like. REI despite their items being on the pricier side have great selection and quality gear. I was able to get everything I needed in prep for race day. I didn't encounter any issues with staff. It felt more like, "We'll leave you alone unless you need something." I'm totally fine with that. It's an upscale comprehensive sporting goods store with a good amount of items in stock. I was actually impressed with the women's shoe selection. They had more HOKAs in stock compared to Road Runner Sports in Wilmette. I know I could've easily gotten HOKAs online but I'm the type (especially when it comes to apparel and shoes) to want to test items out in person for fit. Had I known they had better availability with more colors in stock, I would've bought my shoes here. REI is granola and you'll need to bring your own bag to shop. They are officially bagless and no longer provide single-use shopping bags at checkout. Parking is easy since it's nestled within a strip mall. I was able to get a spot in front with no issues.

For a luxury brand that prides itself on customer service, this experience was far below expectations. We left feeling ignored and unwelcome. They had so many purses to choose from my brain was swimming. I didn't expect them to have so much. Although expensive I think you also realize the value of the type of purse you buy. They tend to look brand new for a long time. I have to honestly say the best part of the whole experience was the service we received from Vanessa. She has helped us multiple times and she has been such a pleasure to work with. She is smart, educated, and pretty and she got my taste pretty quickly.
