Not only did she recommend pieces and bring them to me in the fitting room, but she went into detail on what and how I can wear each piece for different styles and looks. Since that first experience, I have been back to her store every other day picking up items one piece at a time because her items are chic and unique, high quality, and very affordable. I got a smoking hot red jumpsuit for under 100 dollars, unreal! After my next couple visits, I had an email in my inbox from Grace thanking me for shopping with her and that she really enjoys talking to me while I shop, and now we talk almost every day! She keeps me up to date with what she has coming in and when, sends me pictures so I know what I want to try on during my visits ahead of time, and is always willing to put items aside/hold them until I have a chance to come in. It's a small, local boutique so each visit is like a personal shopping experience. My favorite part is that there's an endless array of cute jewelry and trinkets all over the store which make great last minute gifts. I've found so many great deals during her different sales. Honestly, this store does have some beautiful items; I especially like some of their sweaters. Many of the clothes aren't particularly form-fitting, which could be where "old lady" reputation comes from. This is a good place to stock up on some basics, especially during sales. There are some excellent deals to be had. In fact, I just scored a great deal on a long black velvet skirt and a dressy top (needed for my husband's post-holiday holiday work party). Not only were both items heavily discounted, but were an additional 50% off. Got an outfit for $30. And holy vanity sizing, Batman! I gotta give props because this must be the only store on the planet where I fit into an XS petite top (and that top was form-fitting - no old lady look for me!). Whatever size you wear, you're guaranteed to be at least one size smaller here.

I've been meaning to check this out all winter and glad I finally stopped in. They have super cute clothing - both casual and a little more dressy (think cocktail attire) for women. The price points were also really great! A few of the brands I recognized were Astr and Heartloom, but I also spotted a bunch of new ones. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to try things on, but I"ll definitely come back for my spring/summer shopping needs. They also had a great rack in the back of winter clothing on sale, but I'm ready to say goodbye to winter this year. The woman who worked here was super friendly to everyone who walked in asking us if we were shopping for anything special. And the store was beautifully decorated as well! The company itself also provides very little useful information. What is even more frustrating is that the website apparently welcomes customers to send messages with questions, yet no one responds. If you offer customer messaging, customers should actually receive a response. Overall, the lack of transparency and communication reflects poor customer service. I can understand why they wouldn't want to have one (they do exchanges or store credit), but that's generally too much a gamble for me. After buying an outfit for my kiddo at a different store last year that I saw after purchase was ripped and only getting a credit--which, over a year later, I have yet to redeem--I can't bring myself to buy from places that don't do refunds. The only exception I might make sometime is if I wanted a photo frame or something that there's almost zero chance I'd ever return.
