The associate simply told us that they don't provide samples, without any explanation or effort to help. What made the experience worse was the attitude -- it felt rude and dismissive, and there was no apology or customer-focused service. I've visited other Nordstrom locations before and have always had great experiences with polite, professional, and attentive staff. That's why this visit was especially disappointing. Customer service is one of the reasons people choose to shop at Nordstrom, and unfortunately, this location did not meet those expectations. I hope management pays attention to the customer experience and provides additional training to ensure guests feel welcomed and respected.

It's a fine store for such and they have a wide variety of items. They may not have the quality of a Hello Tokyo or a Daiso but you get more for your discount dollars here it appears. The kiddos had plenty of fun items to pick from to stay under their $5 budget and they enjoyed their shopping here. My only critique is that many items showed a scan code but no specific price except a sign saying less than $5. I had to ask the friendly and helpful attendant several times what an item's price was and most items we picked were $3.50 or $4 but it would be helpful to show an exact price if possible. I would recommend any discount shoppers check out this a-ok franchise to see if there's a consumer fit for themselves.

I always feel guilty when someone gushes "I loooove that on you it fits you PERFECTLY!!!" and then I don't want it. So I really liked the freedom they gave me at Madewell even though there weren't that many people in the store. They also have amazing sales! Sometimes they have an additional 40% off sale, where you can snag deals like jeans for $40 and tee shirts for $15. I find that their in-store sales are much cheaper than online. I like to price check when i get home, and sometimes the things i bought at a major discount are full price online (which, of course, makes me feel smug and pleased with myself). Their stuff is such good quality and is so comfortable. Their jeans feel like jeggings but are actually jeans. Also, for petite ladies like myself, their ankle jeans are a great length.
