I must be in that demographic (obviously) because I found some cute pickleball stuff (of course!) for a friend and some "evil eye" slippers. There are bags, jewelry, cards, clothes, more. They were very friendly and told me that new stuff comes in regularly. I do have to replace the Fragonard tote that I use as a gym bag for something a little more stylish so maybe I'll come back to browse the oversized bags.

I am a social shopper and enjoy building relationships with the individuals I shop with...I walked into Ella Louvi a few weeks ago and was greeted by Grace - the owner herself. Not only did she recommend pieces and bring them to me in the fitting room, but she went into detail on what and how I can wear each piece for different styles and looks. Since that first experience, I have been back to her store every other day picking up items one piece at a time because her items are chic and unique, high quality, and very affordable. I got a smoking hot red jumpsuit for under 100 dollars, unreal! After my next couple visits, I had an email in my inbox from Grace thanking me for shopping with her and that she really enjoys talking to me while I shop, and now we talk almost every day! She keeps me up to date with what she has coming in and when, sends me pictures so I know what I want to try on during my visits ahead of time, and is always willing to put items aside/hold them until I have a chance to come in. Shopping at Ella Louvi with Grace and her wonderful coworker Ania guarantees you will walk out with a one of a kind piece that fits you flawlessly and doesn't burn a hole in your pocket at the same time. Three years ago I would have been shocked if someone told shopaholic me that I'd enjoy shopping for my kids way more than myself, but it's true. I skipped the cute women's clothing and made my way towards the back of the store to check out the cute little onesies, tutus, etc for my little ones. I just so happened to be here during the Winnetka Sidewalk Sale so I got some fab deals on kicky pants PJs and other cute outfits for my son. I didn't have as much luck for my daughter, but next time we're in need for a tutu we'll be headed here. If you stop in on the 363 days the Winnetka Sidewalk Sale isn't happening it can be a bit pricey, but definitely worth checking out for the kids. And perhaps even yourself.

That was in November. It is now February. These people refuse to answer the phone. They only communicate by text. She is 84! We finally got a hold of someone and they refuse to give her a refund because they gave her "a birthday discount". They have now been holding onto her money since November and told her they have no idea when the bras will be in. All we want is a refund and they refused to do so. Absolutely disgusting customer service and a horrible way to treat an elderly woman. Shame on them! If I could give them zero stars, I would. Very disappointing

When we asked for help, she dismissed us without a second glance--as if we didn't belong. If it hadn't been for a remarkable salesperson named Bella, we would've walked out on the spot. Bella was calm, respectful, and incredibly kind to my daughter. She treated her with dignity and care during a difficult and deeply personal fitting process. It's important to note: very few places still offer this level of specialized help. Bella did it with grace--and was then openly mocked by the owner in front of us. That a younger business owner would belittle a more experienced and clearly valued staff member, especially in front of customers, is not just unprofessional--it borders on workplace harassment. When I got home, I looked up reviews- multiple sites. The pattern is undeniable: customers repeatedly praise the staff--while calling out the owner's outrageous behavior. And disturbingly, she often responds to reviews by insulting the customers themselves. One person described how a disabled individual was ridiculed. Sadly, this has become more common. A boutique in Northbrook called Such a Deal became notorious for shaming young girls who didn't match the owner's preferred body type. That store eventually closed. Max's in Highland Park also developed a reputation for demeaning its customers. While it's still open, the backlash permanently altered its client base--and its standing in the community. To Bella: thank you. You were the only reason we stayed. You treated my daughter like she mattered. You deserve better.

I've been meaning to check this out all winter and glad I finally stopped in. They have super cute clothing - both casual and a little more dressy (think cocktail attire) for women. The price points were also really great! A few of the brands I recognized were Astr and Heartloom, but I also spotted a bunch of new ones. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to try things on, but I"ll definitely come back for my spring/summer shopping needs. They also had a great rack in the back of winter clothing on sale, but I'm ready to say goodbye to winter this year. The styles are geared towards prom and pageant with a heavy inventory of bling style dresses. As another reviewer (Jacqueline F.) mentioned, if blinged out is your thing, this is your place. The dress style they cater is youth focused. I'm not saying this store is not for older folk but depending on style preferences, it may or may not be what you're into. Although my mom didn't find a winner, I will say the dresses are beautiful but I'd like to reemphasize with a disclaimer, they are prom and pageant focused. I can't seem to pinpoint their 2022 entry level pricing but on average, most of the tickets I saw tend to run in the mid $400s. I didn't see a dedicated parking lot. They're situated along busy Dempster and we found free street parking around the corner.
