“While Mitch helped me, I watched Zach keep his cool with an upset customer who had spent all of 30 seconds inside and bypassed the line.”

My experience here had some positives as well as negatives. Comcast tech support suggested that I…read moretrade in my modem/router for one that would allow me to access the faster bandwidth that I already have. I arrived a little after they opened at 9 am. There was already a line with four people in it and I went to the end of the line. I drove through the rain to get there and the skies were threatening to open up. With no rain gear, I waited an hour to go inside. Many people behind me came and left. People were cursing Comcast over the wait. After I was escorted into the building, the associate who helped me was very nice. With in ten minutes he gave me the equipment I needed and sent me on my way. He also told me that if I ever need to just return equipment, I could take it to the UPS Store and they will pack and ship it for free (no charge to me). That was very helpful since I had one more piece of equipment to return. I got home, followed the instructions, and had everything working within 20 minutes. They have automated the installation so anyone can do it. I was pleased with that even though I do know networking. I have mixed feelings over this experience.

My husband and I went to the "big" Verizon store in the Trader Joe's plaza. As luck would have it,…read morethey were out of stock on the phone we wanted and suggested we go to Verizon in the Pheasant Lane mall. Begrudgingly, we went to the mall. We HATE shopping for cell phones. We'd rather go to the RMV than be pushed to buy the latest greatest and don't get me going on the "smoke and mirrors" of the cell plans. Upon arrival at the Verizon mall location, we were warmly greeted by Tom Vartanian. Somewhat skeptical, we thought, "here we go". Were we ever wrong! Tom took the time to research plans, phones and on-going promotions to get us the very best deal. He was always informative, never pushy and pleasant to deal with. Suffice it to say we found a new Verizon store! Thanks Tom!! MB & J

Yes, this is the big Verizon store in the Trade Joe plaza in Nashua. They would misrepresent themselves anyway they could to get you sign up for an expensive plan. We signed up for an international travel plan for our trip overboard but changed our mind and tried to cancel this plan before we begin our travel. We were told, "Oh, you have to call Verizon Customer Service, we don't do the plan cancellation here." The charge has already shown up on our next bill even though we haven't begun our trip yet. The bill balloons from $223.77 to $502.01 . If you still want to believe those 5-star rating then go ahead and experience it for yourself.

And sometimes....you have a brain fart and forget that soft resetting your phone still fixes a lot of problems. Kinda like how I did. Granted, I felt like a horse's patoot by the time we walked in there and basically got free advice we could have otherwise obtained from ten seconds on Google. The guy at the table was very professional about everything. Down to earth, even. It's always refreshing to see folks in the tech industry apply the utmost professionalism when it comes to customer service. Honestly, the longest part was the beginning. See, we had a 1pm appointment. Only when we arrived, we still had to wait an additional 15 minutes before anyone saw us. What's the point?! If you have to wait still despite having an appointment, it's as arbitrary as walking in out of left-center field and requesting someone service your phone. I found their lack of store WiFi rather disappointing. Other Apple stores have this. So, why not Pheasant Lane? I dunno, guys. It's an Apple store. What else is there to say? It gets 4 slightly embarrassed customers who forgot soft reset is a thing out of 5.

The guy in the entrance asked a few question and took me to the pickup counter, stating once the staff finish the person before me, the staff will help me. So I waited, the lady finished previous customer and just stood there, not asking me "Can I help you with something?" I waited another 5 minutes and asked her if she can help me with the purchase. She acknowledged with 1 word "yes". I was a straight, quick in & out guy. I told the young lady that I would like to purchase 2 iPhone 17 Pro Max unlocked, 256G, pay in full. "OK" is the only response. She did her thing on the sales terminal which I think is an iPhone. The staff in the backroom brought 2 iPhones out. She scanned them and just stared at me after. Not sure what to do next, I paused for a minute, then brought out my wallet and my credit card, she still said no word and continued staring at me. Only after I handed her my credit card, she openned her mouth with "Is this the card?" Then took my card and did her thing. Then I realized I ordered 2 blue phones and it can get confusing if I give to my uncle and aunt as gift. I asked her if I can switch one of the phone to orange color. She responded "You already paid for them". I was like "wow, wtf, do I owe you money or something?" in my mind. Eventually, we did a color swap on 1 of the phone. The last thing I needed is the printed receipt. She gave me the swap receipt not the sale receipt. I have to go back to the store and asked her to give me the original receipt. With this kind attitude, this young lady, possibly a college kid, is ruinning apple and apple store's reputation. The attitude is this "I work in apple store. I am better than you. Don't bother me." Spent 2400 bucks for this kind attitude. WTF?????
