The staff here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had an incident with my car while going to get a battery changed (not the fault of the employees at all) and they were willing to both provide tools and help me change out the connecting joint of my radiator hose in the parking lot, which was not exactly easy even with both of us working together. Consistently a great store for whenever you need what they specialize in. The employees always go out of their way to help you. For example, we went in with a camera battery that no longer worked or took a charge, and instead of selling us a $45 new one, they tried to get it running first, in order for it to take a charge and become usable again. So on March 28 yesterday at about 3pm I went into the store, I asked the guy about changing the batteries in my 2 car key fobs. He proceeds to tell me he had to charge me $13.00 each. I questioned him, I said so 26.00 , he said yes, I said guess I will do it my self. He NEVER offered to sell me the batteries I needed. They are a size 2023. I went down the street to Market Basket, package of two lithium cost me $2.99. It took me less than one minute each key fob to replace and NO TOOLS NEEDED. What a crappy employee. And IF that really is the store policy to charge $13.00 per fob, that is crappy as well. I will NEVER go back to this store. Bad choice. Brought my phone in for a new screen. They immediately tried to sell me a battery; no thanks. Then after replacing the screen the home button/touch ID didn't work. After fixing that, I realized they put a screen on that was not OEM; it was much thinner as I could feel the outer edges of the home button protruding above the screen. Never again. read more

I had a great experience here! I came in desperate as my phone screen shattered, and my phone became unusable! I spoke to Zack on the phone, he was very kind and empathetic, as I was very stressed out. There were two other Chris's in the store, and they were very pleasant and kind also. My phone was fixed in an hour flat, and while I was there, I was able to get a battery replaced on my key fob which I had been meaning to do. If you need a battery, as the name implies, this is the place to go. In my case, I needed a watch battery replaced. For $5.99 and less than five minutes of my time, I was all set. The guy who worked there was super nice too. When they tell you there's a warranty it's a freaking lie. Came in a week ago because the new screen they put on had a chip in the corner. - they had no technician here so asked me to come back. Came back and now they say they refuse to replace it because "chips and cracks aren't covered by warranty" - load a bullshit. Do not spend your money here! But a quick search uncovered Batteries Plus Bulbs, which quoted $20 less than Apple if I scheduled my appointment on-line. Very pleased with Batteries +, they do alot more and sell more than you would think. They are a very honest business. I dropped my iphone in the water at the beach, and was prepared to spend some money to fix it, I had the apple warranty but didnt want to spend hours on the phone trying to get an appointment and trouble shoot. Batteries + urged me to go to Apple where I had the warranty. I insisted they look at it and fix it. Within 10 minutes they came back with the phone. They said all set! I asked how much, they said no charge! Drove my car in after a jump start from AAA (whom did not have my car battery in stock. ((AAA)). I left my car running while the sales person looked up the size in the computer. Because it's a Volkswagen of course 2 kinds were options so the sales person came outside to my running car and determined exactly what size it was. Then I went back inside and paid for it, installation was NOT extra. Then he went outside and replaced it, start to finish 20 minutes total! By the way it was approximately 7 degrees outside. I called Batteries Plus Bulbs and was told it generally takes about 3-4 hours ( it's not like an iPhone) but if i brought it in before 2 they would try to have it finished before they closed at 7. Came in to get a new battery for my Armani watch while visiting my family in New England. Would have cost me an arm and a leg to do it though Armani, as they recommend, plus I'd have to foot the shipping bill and wait weeks to get it back. So I went to Batteries Plus. The young guy at the counter put new batteries in on the spot in about 5 minutes. He did a great job and was very nice too. Best yet, the whole process only cost me 10 bucks. Not bad at all. I went in hoping they could replace the charging dock on my iPhone 4s. I had already replaced the phone but wanted to be able to use it for the games and other content. Instead of writing me up for a new charging dock, they plugged in a cable and discovered that the charging doc was fine, I just needed a new cable. So for $15 my old iPhone was up and running again. I have been to Batteries Plus before and also received excellent service. I highly recommend them for your battery and smart device needs. Had my phone repaired and received it back on time. On phones inspection I noticed the side of the phone was significantly damaged which was not the case when I brought the phone in nor was it noted on the initial in store inspection. Now my phone has a large gap between the glass and while usable is definitely subject to increased damage. The lack of responsibility/transparency was disappointing and is a poor way to do business. LOVE this place, every time I run into issues with auto, lawn tractor, ATV batteries, they do a tremendous job. Great help today from Kyle at the Nashua office. I had a crappy glue job on my Ipad touch screen replacement just out of warranty which wefixwireless at the mall did such a poor job. Kyle explained how you can use a weight to secure the glued position(try at your own risk) and said to leave overnight. I put on a flat surface upside down and put about 8 pounds on top and left for 5 hours and fixed! Great way to deliver service! I got my iphone 5 battery replaced there with great results also and should have gone here first for my ipad repair. Wefixwireless when I brought it back didnt care. I didn't even have the work done here and they helped and it cost me 0. Keep employing great people like Kyle I have a lot of tech and my next fix will definately be here! read more

NO STARS! I had my Iphone 6 screen replaced and it cracked less than 24 hours later in the exact same place that it was cracked before the replacement. I had it in a Lifeproof case. They refused to honor the warranty and wanted to charge me AGAIN to put a new screen on. They claimed it was from impact but this was not the case. Very unhappy-don't waste your money! read more

Bought a battery for my car through their web site with the understanding that it came with Free Installation. I got charged $14.99 for the Free Installation. When I asked about it, the worker there stated "the free installation is a REGIONAL thing". I asked what that meant, he said that in the "warmer parts of the country" the stores don't charge for installation but here in the Cold areas, they do. So "Regional Discrimination" is the practice at BATTERIES PLUS BULBS, at least that's what their employee stated to me. I do hope that it's only Regional Discrimination and not the fact that I'm a Senior Citizen that they thought they could take advantage of... Couldn't be, that would be illegal. Needless to say, I'll NEVER go back to ANY Batteries Plus Bulbs store and I make it a point to share this experience with everyone I speak to at the local hospital I work at.... I bought a battery from the Amherst street store in Nashua. This battery was a snowmobile battery purchased in February 2014. I used it for a month in Feb and had it for the 2015 season. The battery is now completely dead. One chamber of the battery was extremely low while all other chambers were fine. The manager had thought it could be a faulty battery do to this occurring. The manager tried to charge it and refill it which did not work. The manager would not offer anything else for me other than 10% off a new one. I have had several snowmobile batteries in the past and never had one die in two years time. This is a seasonal battery which barely got any use. I would not recommend this battery or the store to anyone. The manger said it's beyond its warranty and he could not help me at all. read more

I've been to this store a few times and they're always helpful and courteous. This last trip, I was all ready to buy a $40 backup battery and the salesmen took my previous battery to test it. They found that my "old" battery was still working fine and didn't pressure me to buy the new one. I ended up solving a wiring problem in my Internet junction box instead.
