Awful customer service. Did not do what they promised they would do. I'm not a customer and I'm receiving emails from this company about another customer's account. Xfinity is stealing money directly from your account via your debit card. I took advantage of their Mobile phone offer. Hated the service, cancelled within 3 days and returned the phone within 2 weeks including shipping time. I received confirmation that they received the phone. That was 7 almost 8 months ago. Twice since they sent a notification of my upcoming bmo il bill for $283. I had to do the AI loop, then "chat" customer service to get it resolved. Then it happens the same way again! After not less than 5 hours each time with assurances that the account was closed yesterday without any notice $283 was debited from my account. This because I am an idiot and have Internet and cable services through them and they have my card on file. So after another 6 hours of the endless chat transfers and ticket escalations AND endless apologies for having Stolen my money I told I would go ave a refund the next day. Today! No refund and another 5 hours...starting all over again with AI, lateral transfers to customer service "chats"...Mind you...having to start all over with each agent I was transferred to, each agent "opening a new ticket" then endless "escalations" to a higher department..starting all over again. Then I will be emailed with confirmation in 4 days! They illegally debited my account which should be have been closed 7 months ago and outright stole my money. HOW IS COMCAST GETTING AWAY WITH SUCH BLATANT THEFT!! AND THEY MUST BE AWARE THEY ARE DOING THIS. Is it because customers are fleeing them because of shady price shifting, illegal increases to customers bills, outright stealing of customers money only to send them into customer service HELL via their AI, customer service "chat" on endless lateral transfers with more time spent with the agent making generalized apologies, assurance they will keep "an eye" on the entire process until resolved only to transfer you to another low level chat agent in India or Mexico where you have to start all over with the very first detail of the same ongoing event. Com to ast knows this system just makes it easier for the customer to walk away from the problem then spend countless hours pulling their hair out with no resolution in site. Yesterday after 4 hours I missed a doctor's appointment, was charged a $50.00 no show copay because I was invested for 4 hours and would have to start all over again and getting my $283 dollars back was greater than the $50.00 copay. Abd on abd on. Xfinity wants their customer to give up. That's why their baking resolution impossible. Worse once I do get my money back and I will...5, 8, 10? months from now I am sure they will do the same stealing of my money again!!!!! Xfinity knows...they know! I took my neighbor to the Comcast store in Nashua. Was checked in immediately and after about 15 minutes my neighbor and I met with Richard. Her husband had recently passed and she was eager to reduce her current bill to something better aligned with her budget. Richard was able to set her up with a new plan that got her more of what she wanted to watch and reduce her monthly charge by $160. We took the equipment to her house and with the help of the telephone support person got her router named as she wanted and both the internet and TV working perfectly. Terrible and rude customer service in the store! No patient and lack of knowledge even at the base level!

1. I spent easily 4 hours on the phone this week trying to get things fixed. They have an awful automated system to get you to the right department. I was bounced around to several reps, explaining what I've been through and what I needed. I was promised each time I wouldn't have to repeat myself to the next rep, and that the communication would be passed along. This did not happen. (3x) 2. I understand the customer support team structure, but there are very poor back end systems in place to process phone order upgrades. 3. I'm a current (long time) customer, and upgraded my mobile phone, which got flagged in the fraud dept. I then was called and had confirmed identity, and completed the order. 4. I asked the team if I'd have a problem upgrading the other line and ordering a new phone, to which they replied "no problem". 5. I went online to complete the second order, on 10/12, and got flagged again. It showed an email that the order was completed. Then an incoming call came in to confirm identity, again, (after being told it wouldn't be necessary in the previous call) so I was flagged again. 6. I confirmed the necessary information, and was told it did not work and my order was cancelled. This was before the promo ended on 10/12. 7. I was directed to visit the Xfinity store. They made a note on my account. I visited the store, and was immediately greeted with "no, can't do it". - that's a very poor way to start an interaction. 8. The rep said he'd speak to the regional manager, and 2 hours later (the message was relayed second hand through him) I was told that they wouldn't honor the program. 9. The rep in store ALSO said, there's a system wide issue that caused the fraud team to flag the second order. It's a known issue and has been a known problem for a while. 10. I placed an order during a promotional time period, that was cancelled by a known (admitted) system glitch. I asked for a promo to be honored and got shut down. 11. Outcome: Garbage company, with garbage service, with a garbage escalation process. I wouldn't recommend even trying with this company. Stick to the big players, instead of these clowns. I was patient and tried not to make a 'stink' about it, but it's a difference of $500, for an error that was caused by Xfinity. Where's the integrity and human interaction here? Xfinity Comcast has horrible customer service. They fired almost all of their American telephone support staff and replaced them with AI robots, or occasionally technicians from other countries. It has been a nightmare trying to find a human that we can speak to. No one should ever give a dime to this company. All they do is take your money and then ignore you. read more

Quality of services via mobile app is horrible. I've Ben trying to pay my bill with my bank card for the last couple of months, and it will not accept it. I went on the mobile app to try and pay once again, and got declined. So I tried one more time to pay my past due payment. Xfinity went in my bank and charged my bank 200.00 dollars. My experience here had some positives as well as negatives. Comcast tech support suggested that I trade in my modem/router for one that would allow me to access the faster bandwidth that I already have. I arrived a little after they opened at 9 am. There was already a line with four people in it and I went to the end of the line. I drove through the rain to get there and the skies were threatening to open up. With no rain gear, I waited an hour to go inside. Many people behind me came and left. People were cursing Comcast over the wait. After I was escorted into the building, the associate who helped me was very nice. With in ten minutes he gave me the equipment I needed and sent me on my way. He also told me that if I ever need to just return equipment, I could take it to the UPS Store and they will pack and ship it for free (no charge to me). That was very helpful since I had one more piece of equipment to return. I got home, followed the instructions, and had everything working within 20 minutes. They have automated the installation so anyone can do it. I was pleased with that even though I do know networking. I have mixed feelings over this experience. read more

I know cable companies get a bad rap because the prices are so high, but every customer service experience I have had here has been positive. This was such a waste of time. We were greeted when we entered, picked our accessories and then were told me needed to be placed in the system to check out. 5 employees and 2 were actually assisting customers while one literally played on his cell phone at a kiosk, and the other 2 just... get paid to space out apparently. Best part was being placed in queue and STILL having people come in after us being helped first. Good news is that Best Buy is across the street and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

Good luck ever connecting with a human when you call the 800 number listed on the store website. You'll end up in an infinite loop and never actually connect to anyone at the store. Seems they expect you to eventually become so aggravated that you'll just hang up and go away. read more

I am no fan of Xfinity and think they enjoy a monopolistic relationship with their customers and deliberately bundle a lot of junk channels with very few worth watching and charge dearly for it. The lousy and sporadic quality of their cable TV and internet is problematic at times when one is just trying to enjoy one of the programs from their meager offerings. But the staff at this store have always done a fantastic job to answer my questions and help me out. They are knowledgeable, professional and extremely polite. The people are very organized and eager to help. The human touch is rare and underated. read more

Worst customer service , prices with taxes and fees given over the phone by comcast representatives and memos of it put in your account yet when you go to the Daniel Webster location they tell you the price is higher and their own reps are wrong. They do nothing to remedy the situation or the inconvenience of you driving all the way there to pick up your new equipment. IF you have the option to go to another internet /cable /phone company I highly recommend you do. read more

Signed up for comcast mobile and got a new phone. Had issues with charging the phone brought it down to the store and waited an hour before I was informed there was a problem and I would have to wait. Worked with a Tec online,received a new phone. Week Later I had the same issue brought the phone down only to be told it was my fault. I tried to explain to the Rep that the phone is only a week old and I have had many a cell phone with out this problem. In stead of looking into problems with this style phone he was way to quick to blame the customer. For this reason I say stay away from this location their customer service is horrible! My concern is not so much about service but the cost. I am tired of the constant increases for my bundle service to the point where I went up $30 per month. I am now up to $280/month!! AThat is insane! I am bringing back all equipment today and have decided to cut the cord for good and just go with internet only. I know they jack up the internet only price sky high but I am still better off with Hulu live and Netflix. Then I can pick and choose added services that I will actually watch. Went into this store to purchase a new phone and switch my service from Verizon to Xfinity. That was on a Tuesday. I was told that there was an issue and that my new phone could not be activated until a few hours later that day. I waited 5 hours and my phone was still not activated. I went back to the store and they informed me the issue was with Verizon and there was nothing they could do. I went to Verizon and they informed me they had released my number to Xfinity and it was ready for them to activate. On Thursday I went again to Xfinity and finally spoke to the Manager who was "somewhat aware" of my issue from his employee who managed my purchase. Spent an hour in the office of the Manager who finally concluded they had done all they could and it could possibly be another 48 to 72 hours before my phone could be activated. Been without a cell phone now for 3 days. The Xfinity customer service is horrible. The only resolve to me was a temporary phone which I had asked for on Tuesday while I was waiting for them to resolve the activation issue and was told they could not provide me with one. Then on Thursday after an hour with the Manager, he could only offer me a temporary phone which I rejected,. Their motto of being committed to the best customer service is a joke. A few years ago a company, WMS, who was renting space from my father, went bankrupt. My father got screwed. When he was allowed back into their space there was a modem. I received this modem around November 2017 for internet. Now, in February 2020, I was asked by a friend, who was house sitting while I was away on vacation, what my network and password are. I didn't know what she was talking about. I told her to use xfinitywifi. She told me this was an unsecured network. I contacted Xfinity and they told me that they couldn't see a modem on my account. When I returned from vacation I called with the information from my router (woops) and was told I could have someone call me back when I get home and they can help me figure out which is my modem and which is my router. I told them I have had this account for over two years and I was told they can only look back to my records for the past 6 months. When I was able to give the model number for the modem the individual was very unprofessional, gasping, saying I shouldn't have this modem, it isn't for residential use etc. I didn't understand because I have had this modem for a long time. It was explained to me that because I have been paying for internet I had access to a wifi hotspot, xfinitywifi, which is an unsecured network, which I am guessing is how I have had my Capital One Visa Credit Card hacked and fraudulent charges on it in January and February of 2020. I told the individual that this modem was given to me from my father and that it was used in his building by a company, WMS, before they went bankrupt and left. I called my family and asked my parents to speak with Xfinity because I didn't know what was going on. Why was I paying for an unsecured network and getting hacked? Why didn't Xfinity know what technology I had in my home? Why did they only keep records for 6 months? I had to give permission for them to speak with my father. They told my father to bring in the modem, they would scan it, and change it from a business account to a residential account. They told my father over the phone he would leave with the same modem. As my family walked into the store in Nashua, NH, they grabbed the modem from my father, gave him a paper, and told him they would be right back. They never came back with the modem and told my father he needed to buy a new one. They lied to me, they lied to my parents, they lied to all of us. If they had said "this modem was being rented from WMS and when they went bankrupt they never returned it. This is our property, we need it back, and you will have to buy your own modem" there would have been no hard feelings. My father got screwed when WMS went bankrupt and so did Xfinity but in order to get their stuff back Xfinity felt they had to screw me and my family instead of being honest and professional. Shame on you Xfinity. You are liars, thieves, irresponsible, unprofessional, take no responsibility etc. DO NOT USE XFINITY/COMCAST. I have been paying for over two years thinking I had a secured network when I didn't. Wish I could give 0 stars because you don't even deserve the one I had to give you as a rating. read more

Very disappointed with the services offered. I was told over the phone one thing and the told the complete opposite when I arrived in store. I then get told that the only way to accomplish what I need is by paying a fee which is larger than my bill. I was then told, this happens ALL THE TIME. Not sure what to think about these Xfinity stores. I thought that the #1 priority for businesses was customer service which, I feel, Xfinity / Comcast is dropping the ball i some areas. First, let me say I have been in retail management for over 40 years and in customer service portion for, well 40 years and I am really stunned to find out that a retail store does NOT have a local phone number to call for questions. I have been told by not only the #800 operators but store staff as well that, and I quote, "if we had to answer a phone in the store how would we be able to wait on customers"? HMM, maybe the same way 99.9% of the retail businesses to it, they just do. Now I can understand that you may not be able to go into a long conversation with someone on the phone because you have customers in your store but, you can certainly answer a few quick questions. As for me I hate it when I am in a store and the clerk stops talking to me to answer questions from a phone call and I hate it when I call in and someone is having conversation with me and they put me on hold to help a customer in the store. The answer, if you are on the phone you let the customer in the store know you will be with them in a minute after you are done with the call and if you are waiting on someone in the store and the phone rings you let the person on the phone know you will be with them in a minute as soon as you finish with the customer in the store. It's called COMMUNICATION, most people do not mind waiting if you communicate to them what is going on, I see it every day. Now, my problem with Xfinity not having a phone to answer, I wanted to purchase 3 iPhone 8 plus phones and I wanted them in certain colors. It does not tell me on the website which store has what colors so I had to run to 6 stores in 2 states to try and find the correct colors for my family members, even the stores would not call the other stores for me. In the long run no one had the colors we needed and I was told to just order them online and that way I could get the colors we wanted shipped to us. The issue, we have to be home to sign for the phones and we are house sitting for 3 weeks so we are nowhere near home. I am also told they cannot ship the phones to a different address due to security concerns, I understand that but I am still without my phones. You know, Verizon now has a plan that rivals Xfinity where they GIVE you an iPhone 8 for no charge when you sign up and no you do not have to buy 1 to get one free. It's funny, Verizon stores have phones that ring at the stores and are answered by their employees, I wonder who I am going to call today?! Comcast (Xfinity) has THE worst customer service of any of the cable/satellite providers. I went there today to return my tenant's boxes and sign up for a new contract for myself (as I had been out of the country for a year on assignment and rented out my house) and found the staff there unhelpful and not very proactive. They immediately took the 3 boxes I brought back, but then even after having explained that I was evicting the tenant and she was gone and I wanted to sign up for a contract they said that they could not turn off the cable without the tenant's permission. I said fine -- but since I had come all the way down can I at least pick up my boxes and get started and they could figure out he tenant's problem with her. The said NO they could not give me boxes for my place (which I own) until the tenant cancelled?????? Really what idiots --- I decided to go back home- contacted Dish and tonight I have TV and internet thru AT&T with no contract. Cheaper than Comcast as well (if they had given me a set of boxes and contract I would have been stuck with them for at least 12 months). Funny part is the tenant has no intention of paying her bill nor returning the boxes now and cancelled her phone and left without a forwarding address.
