Listen, this isn't exactly a ritual we conduct very often. But...ya know...when your wife's phone keeps randomly freezing up like Ben & Jerry's ice cream mid-task, sometimes you tap the genius bar to see what's going on. And sometimes....you have a brain fart and forget that soft resetting your phone still fixes a lot of problems. Kinda like how I did. Granted, I felt like a horse's patoot by the time we walked in there and basically got free advice we could have otherwise obtained from ten seconds on Google. The guy at the table was very professional about everything. Down to earth, even. It's always refreshing to see folks in the tech industry apply the utmost professionalism when it comes to customer service. Honestly, the longest part was the beginning. See, we had a 1pm appointment. Only when we arrived, we still had to wait an additional 15 minutes before anyone saw us. What's the point?! If you have to wait still despite having an appointment, it's as arbitrary as walking in out of left-center field and requesting someone service your phone. I found their lack of store WiFi rather disappointing. Other Apple stores have this. So, why not Pheasant Lane? I dunno, guys. It's an Apple store. What else is there to say? Horrible experience. Will not shop in this store again and am considering non-apple product going forward. I went to the store purchasing 2 iPhone 17 Pro Max. The guy in the entrance asked a few question and took me to the pickup counter, stating once the staff finish the person before me, the staff will help me. So I waited, the lady finished previous customer and just stood there, not asking me "Can I help you with something?" I waited another 5 minutes and asked her if she can help me with the purchase. She acknowledged with 1 word "yes". I was a straight, quick in & out guy. I told the young lady that I would like to purchase 2 iPhone 17 Pro Max unlocked, 256G, pay in full. "OK" is the only response. She did her thing on the sales terminal which I think is an iPhone. The staff in the backroom brought 2 iPhones out. She scanned them and just stared at me after. Not sure what to do next, I paused for a minute, then brought out my wallet and my credit card, she still said no word and continued staring at me. Only after I handed her my credit card, she openned her mouth with "Is this the card?" Then took my card and did her thing. Then I realized I ordered 2 blue phones and it can get confusing if I give to my uncle and aunt as gift. I asked her if I can switch one of the phone to orange color. She responded "You already paid for them". I was like "wow, wtf, do I owe you money or something?" in my mind. Eventually, we did a color swap on 1 of the phone. The last thing I needed is the printed receipt. She gave me the swap receipt not the sale receipt. I have to go back to the store and asked her to give me the original receipt. With this kind attitude, this young lady, possibly a college kid, is ruinning apple and apple store's reputation. The attitude is this "I work in apple store. I am better than you. Don't bother me." went to the store for buy a new unlocked phone, knew exactly what i wanted and was ready to pay, 2 employees crossed next to me on sunday june 21 at 2:00 pm approx, and ignored me , the worst part is that they were looking for customers entering to the store, had to look for one who told me that have to wait 45 minutes to be attended, which i said NO! I phoned the apple store in Nashua to ask if they had the iphone 17 pro right now and the man who answered the phone said that i look at the website and that he does not have any info. The website said pickup was 7 days out. I said that to him and asked him if he could tell me more. He repeated the message like a robot. Either its Apple's terrible policy of making prospective customers run around to buy their products or this guy was generally unwilling to help-not sure which! Mentally prepare yourself as if you're going to a car dealership. I walked in to pick up my new phone that I already paid for online. Instead of just picking it up and being offered transfer service from my current to the new phone, I was bombarded with side sales pitches. that's totally fine, but these came with very condescending remarks. Apple person: it's about time you upgraded. me speaking to myself in my head: excuse me? get off your pedestal icloud. Apple genius person: has anything happened to your current phone? me: no apple genius person pursues to sell me AppleCare. Not so genius is it? I literally just told you nothing has happened to my current phone and you proceeded to sell me Apple care. apple not so genius person: what if ... me: no I don't want AppleCare Apple genius person: what if something happens... me: I already said no This went on for a few more sentences . In past 6 months I have purchased 2 iphone 16 pro's and an ipad pro 13. Every time I went into the store it took me 10-15 minutes to get a sales person which I had to hunt down myself. Staff was extremely rude to me. Every one of them treated me like I was an idiot and unwanted in the store. Note I am reasonably tech savvy, I have worked at Intel and Cisco for the past 30yrs as a hw designer/manager. Example interaction, I went in with my wife's old iphone which had started "expanding" and coming apart due to a bad battery. It seemed to be very dangerous and could have caught fire in my wife's handbag. The staff was unconcerned and seemed to want to blame me for what their product did on its own. I came to the store because during a phone call with Apple they instructed me to stop by the store to grab the SIM card I forgot to take out when I dropped off my iPad Air 5 for replacement. I thought it would be simple exchange, but this short dark hair lady with long nails made it so difficult and belittling me in such a rude way that I was so confused and embarrassed for no reason. I showed her the email Apple sent me and she later acknowledged in the notes of the order Apple did say to come grab the card but the store shipped it out already. Instead of owning what happened she tried to say I was at fault and made it for everyone in the store to hear and see that I was at fault. I needed to service my MacBook Pro which also has apple care+ so this store is the only one which is available at the moment. There was some disagreements regarding with repair process but it was okay. The problem is about the payment. Apple Store/ Genius Bar doesn't accept Apple Pay which I have Apple Card. The rep also says that I can't also use physical apple card because it doesn't have CVV. Then I told I can retrieve CVV via my wallet. Still, they keep refusing to use Apple Card because they can't see CVV of the physical card which is unacceptable. This store Genius Bar rep don't know what they are doing. An overdue review, but I came here for Black Friday to take advantage of the no sales tax + Black Friday gift card promotion. The line was lengthy, but they did have couches and seats available while you wait. My boyfriend was able to run a few of our errands while I waited, and the line went by swimmingly. They had representatives directing traffic and answering questions, and I didn't feel the typical Black Friday shopping madness. Upon getting to the front of the line, I was helped by a gentleman who was able to answer all my questions as we purchased my new phone. Unfortunately, halfway through my purchase, I realized that the gift card deal did not apply to me since I was doing such a large upgrade. The gentleman was patient with us as I explored other options. Ultimately, I decided to reverse the transaction and he was very understanding as he performed this for me while my boyfriend ran to Target (to see if they were still doing their promotion). The cost of the phone was refunded right away, and the cost of AppleCare+ was refunded within a few business days (due to the holiday). Later that day (after purchasing the phone from Target), I came back to recycle my iPhone 6 here so I could get an Apple gift card worth more than they were offering me at Target. Another gentleman helped me out this time, and was careful to explain the whole process. Unfortunately, the Apple gift cards don't work towards any iTunes purchases or the cost of AppleCare+, but I was able to purchase a Hidrate water bottle from the app once I decided on a color later that night. In summary, outstanding customer service and organization all around. Even on Black Friday, I was probably in the store for a total of 45 minutes. Compared to other Apple stores, where I've waited 2+ hours on a normal day, Nashua is highly recommended. read more

I went to the store to have batteries replaced in two iPhones and to try out the iPads. I had reservations for everything and found that was the key to success at this store. There was a long line of people who did not have reservations and they did not look happy. I was greeted at the entrance and the guy confirmed my reservations. Since I was early, he asked me to take a seat in front of the giant screen with Apple ads. When my time arrived, I was greeted by a manager who told me exactly what to expect. Next came a tech to gather my info. You will need your Apple ID to confirm the phone(s) are yours. He took my phones to another tech in the back room and told me to come back in an hour. Of course I had no way of telling time since I didn't have my iPhone. Another associate came over and introduced himself. He took me to the iPads and did a short demo. I asked a few questions and then it was over. He scurried off to another customer. When I returned, the same manager told me one phone was ready and the second one was still running diagnostics. I came back when both were ready, paid the bill and left. For a place that does the high volume of business that this place does, I felt it ran very efficiently. We have been living with the pandemic since March. Plenty of time for retail establishments to get their $#!+ together. The process this store put us thru is a joke. I've been a loyal Apple user since the Apple IIe. We made an appointment on line in advance. Arrived 15 minutes prior to our appointment. Saw the line out front. Walk to front door and asked what we need to do. 1st guy said to go and tell the security woman we have an appointment. Security woman told us to walk over and tell 1st guy we have an appointment. We then were told to speak to another person. Then told to get in line. Then called store to find out what we need to do since no one up front could tell us out front. Johnny came out told us to stand in a specific line and apologized for the inconvenience. So we waited. Then watch people with appointments after us immediately be taken. The communications out front was ridiculous. No one know what should be done. I think the worst thing was the complete incompetence of the check in staff and security. All acted very immature horsing around and just cause more confusion than needed. What was scary was another incident that happened with an order man. The guy came in for his appointment and ended up passed out on the floor. Non of the MALE workers at the front door or security new what to do. They spent a lot of time just staring at the guy on the ground like deer in headlights. Only one woman employee came out to check on the guy. No one call security at the mall or 911. Obviously they never had any type of emergency training at this store or no one paid attention. Totally disappointed in my experience at this store. read more

This is the worst Apple store I have been to in my life. The customer service is beyond disgusting and one star is being generous. They give Apple a bad name. I called Apple store and they informed me I can purchase in store. When I went to the store they wouldn't let me in without appointments. I drove 50 miles just to tell them they will not sell without an appointment. I called Apple again and they again informed me they are allowing walk ins for purchase at the location. Charlie, an incredible selfless team member of the Apple store literally saved my day and possibly my life! I was about to leave the mall and realized I had a flat tire. This really creepy man came over and said it's a loss cause and insisted on giving me a ride, and his persistence was making me nervous. Charlie must have been arriving for his shift, was in Apple uniform and came over to help. He told the creepy man to leave, and made sure he did. He then helped change my tire, and when I didn't have a spare, he took one of his own car! He insisted it he rather use his donut on his car, and make sure i had a good tire to get home safe. Not too impressed with this place. Crews seem to be very disorganized. They are helpful, but disorganized and wait time is long. If I did not have warranty on my daughter's iPhone, I would not have come here. Also, they may be able to fix hardware issues, but they could not resolve some software issue on my macbook pro. Liars! Last year when I upgraded my phone here, they told me that I was enrolled in the iPhone upgrade program. Come upgrade time this year, turns out this was a lie. They had enrolled me without clearly letting me know in the Verizon upgrade program. Never once in the process did they tell me this was the Verizon upgrade program. So, now I am stuck. I came here yesterday to purchase a new iPhone 14 Pro as my 11 was old, cracked, slow, and ready to retire. Yasmin (sorry if I misspelled her name) immediately came to our attention and was super courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and quick. I've never had a more seamless experience buying a new phone. The whole transaction and process of switching over to my new device from start to finish could not be more than 20 minutes at the most. She definitely knew her stuff and took the time to thoroughly explain protection plans and how to transfer over all of my data. I also bought a new case and screen protector in-store and she had this neat device that perfectly placed the screen protector, which was the coolest thing ever. We had a very nice young man for guidance and assistance (I forget his name) in case we needed help after the purchase when switching over via iCloud at the Genius Bar. This was the best experience at any Apple Store I've been to. read more

Well, that was an adventure. I ordered a trackpad and paid online. I'm not sure how it happened, but my 'Pickup name' was listed as my email address, which I didn't notice until I arrived at the store. Apparently I needed ID that matched my pickup name and I was unable to receive my item--despite having the QR code to pick it up (the instructions said I only needed to show that and my government issued ID to an associate to get my item). I asked the associate if I could use my license, or my credit card I used to make the purchase. They went back to check with their manager. Nope, I had to have ID that matched my 'incorrect' pickup name. I asked the associate how I could fix this and they said I needed to download the 'Apple Support' app in order to chat with a representative and have them change my pickup name. I asked again if there was any other way to change it and they said no, I would have to download the app and chat with a rep. They said this would be faster than actually calling, and they shared a story about a woman who had the exact same issue I did who was on the phone for over 2 hours the other day. It is an odd experience waiting in front of an apple store and being told to DOWNLOAD AN APP in order to get service for my significantly tiny problem which I was told 'was the only option.' But I did it. I waited 10 minutes for someone to answer my chat, only to find out that they could not help me as my problem was 'outside their area of support' and I needed to speak with a senior advisor. I was given a case number for reference. The chat itself took around 10 minutes. 20 minutes after that, the senior advisor called me and asked me what issue I was having. I briefly explained my problem and told them that I had a case number, did they need that? 'No,' they replied 'I have it already.' Oh...so you already knew exactly what the problem was and instead requested that I explain it again. Some a++ customer service. After putting me on hold for 7 minutes, they said that they were unable to help me and instead I needed to be transferred to Order support. A few minutes after that I spoke with another representative (who thankfully didn't force me to state my problem again) told me how I could fix the problem myself. All I had to do was go to apple.com/orderstatus, enter my order number, and edit my pickup name. ...which I could have done at the beginning of this whole saga. At this point I had been standing outside of the apple store for over an hour, so you can understand why I might be a *little* frustrated when I found out that I could have accomplished this task myself, had the apple store employee (or his manager) informed me of this remedy. When the apple store employee checked in on me and I informed him that I could change my pickup name myself, he did not seem surprised. I changed my pickup name to the correct ID and immediately cancelled my order. What I find unbelievable about this whole situation is not the hour-plus runaround that I was given, nor the irony of 'needing' to download an app in order to talk to a customer service representative when I am standing outside of the company store. This problem was so basic, and so common (remember the woman on the phone for 2+ hours I mentioned before?) that putting a customer through this can only be described as purposeful and spiteful. read more

The service at this store was great! We walked in expecting to wait a long time since the store was packed - next thing I know someone is their to help us. We weren't sure exactly which Ipad we wanted or if we wanted to get one that included Wi-fi. The guy that helped us was really great at listening to what we need and letting us know which one would work best for us - he even talked us out of the more expensive 3G model (usually stores try to up sale you on everything!) We were in and out within 30 minutes. They really have it down how to make it more convenient for you and how to get you in and out quickly without feeling rushed. read more

I was a new customer to this location when yesterday I came in because I was having cellular data connectivity issues with my iPhone. I met with Jonathan who gave me a new SIM card and instructed me to go to Verizon, a few storefronts down to have them activate and install it. After visiting Verizon and having them tell me their systems were down so they could not activate the SIM card (???) I went back to Jonathan and he so graciously used an Apple store phone (my phone was out of commission) to call Verizon and activate my SIM card for me so I was all set before I left the mall. Jonathan essentially did his own job, plus the work of the Verizon store employee which went above and beyond what I expected. read more

It's hard to rate this Apple store because all we did was walk in and pick up an online order. This simple transaction all went fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did encourage me to not use the free "help setting up" service with the reason that the table they use for that is too crowded. I came for the newest iPhone that was release a few weeks earlier. Most people buy these things online these days, but you know there are good reasons to go to the Nashua store. I knew exactly what I wanted, and checked their stock at the Apple website before immediately driving up. The store greeter was able to check their stock immediately and associate my name with a device. I was relieved to be "locked in". Then I waited in a small line of maybe 4 people who were also buying the latest and greatest. I talked to the guy behind me in line and he was buying a bunch of phones for his company, so I suppose the line can move a different rates depending on who is in line. I'd say 12 mins in line total. Anyhow, I get to the front of the line and everything works like clockwork. Saleswoman is super nice and professional. She quickly understands my needs (and lack thereof) and sends me on my way with my new iPhone. Mission accomplished. No drama and no stress. read more

I showed up during my scheduled time to pick up an order; it takes all of 2 seconds to grab said item and send me on my way. f"The female that came to assist me was rude, interrupting and talking at me with her hands clicking her long fake nails at me as she spoke. Arrived at 3:25 for a 3:30 appointment. Table was full of customers waiting, one since 3:00 and another since 3:15. At 4:00 one of the people at my table went and asked what the problem was, he was told there was one person ahead of him. Long story short, he was called before the 3:00 person and the 3:15 person. Another customer arrived at 4:15, asked if she would be called at her 4:30 appointment time. Guess what, she was called in FIVE minutes while three of us were still waiting. Very poor customer service, apparently our appointments were cancelled even though we checked in at the door. I will NEVER visit this store again. read more

They were awesome! I had a problem with my new Airpods and made an appointment at the genius bar online. They ran diagnostics and replaced one of the headphones. Later in the day I tried my pods again but unfortunately the problem persisted. There weren't anymore appointments for the day so I gave them a call and they took me right back in and fixed the problem in less then 20 minutes! 10/10 super helpful read more

Let me preface this with the fact that I love apple products, but I just had an incredibly a lousy experience here. I was trying to sell my old iPhone 4s back to get a credit toward a new phone my dad will buy in the coming weeks. I called ahead to this specific store to make sure I could sell it back to the store in person and walk away with the credit -- they said yes. Then I got there. They were really nice but all they could do was say the person on the phone was mistaken and to return the phone in store I need to be buying a phone that same day. That is NOT what was communicated to me over the phone before I drove 50 minutes to this store. Given that I have the choice of Burlington or Cambridge which are just a little farther, I will not be coming back to this store. Super disappointing experience. read more

I've been using Apple products since I could remember. Aside from the "zomg it's Apple!" thing, the buzz and the hype surrounding every new product (it's a new cable?! omg!) and the design, I've always been impressed by ease of use and especially by the level of support and customer care that comes with owning an Apple device. A friend experienced a problem with her iPhone not even three weeks after the warranty expired. At first it basically forgot that it was an iPhone; she could have still used it as an iPod, a camera, a GPS, or a wi-fi web device. It wasn't entirely useless. We took it to the store where a genius suggested a software update, which stripped the firmware and bricked the phone. No big deal, it's JUST out of warranty, they'll give us a courtesy replacement like they have every other time they broke something on us, right? Nope. To be fair, the second or third Genius and the manager-on-duty were both really awesome. They understood our disappointment and told us that in the past, they could have done this-- but things have changed and now there's just absolutely no way that they can replace something out of warranty, even though they agreed that they should. They suggested calling Apple's customer service hotline to ask for an override, as this was the new policy. So I call the customer service line. After a phone rep's promise of a replacement , the phone rep reneging on the promise to replace the phone, and a manager insulting us, then stating that they saw no notes from the Apple Store and no notes from the rep I had spoken to twice in the past two days, then telling me that he was the highest-up person that we could possibly speak to and that the train stops with him, we were left with a $750 paperweight and we'll need to purchase a refurbished phone with a lower capacity in order to get back up and running. I work in service and I understand how important it is to treat each customer like they're the most important person on the planet. Apple used to be very good about that; they realized you don't want to have a customer for a day. You want to have a customer for life. They realized that their loyal base is what drives hype and that the hype drives sales, and good service makes people loyal to you. Their business model has changed from a customer-focused model to a sales-based model and, unfortunately, it's not working out for the better. I'm disappointed and I'll have to seriously reconsider my next Apple purchase. read more

Last Saturday (5/4/2019) went to Apple store in Nashua. One Sales guy named Harish approached me when I entered the store. I told him that I am switching from Android to iOS & looking for the latest model. He showed me, but he did not explain properly what is the new feature in iPhone xs as compared to previous models iPhone 8plus. He thought that we are not going to buy a phone and do time pass. He not even greeted or asked for any other questions. As a new user, I was expecting some kind of help. he just showed me the payment plans and left. I have explored all by myself and asked another sales person's help. This guy said he is the 'traffic router' he will ask someone to help. Finally, I have purchased an unlocked phone with full payment. The sales rep should help customers. Nashua Apple store management should teach how to behave or respond or help customers. read more

Compared to all the Apple stores in NYC, this place is HEAVEN. Let me compare: **5th Avenue store, average weekday afternoon: Basement level spaceship, packed like sardines with hundreds and hundreds of people, about half of which are employed by Apple, and yet it is impossible to find anyone who will even point you in the direction of someone who will help you. So, I just got back from what I thought was going to be a stressful and disappointing trip to the Apple store. What I got was a very pleasant, surprising, and ultimately happy experience! My iPhone 4S stopped working, and I was nervous that I was going to have a dead phone on my hands, or a costly repair. My warranty was up next month, and I wasn't sure if I would be covered. When I got there 20 minutes early for my appointment, I was seen just a few minutes later. The staff was very attentive and helpful, even though I was one of probably 50 people in the store. No sooner had I walked in, I was already being greeted and helped. While I was waiting for my appointment, another employee came over and started to look over my phone for me, to offer some input on what the problem might be. The employee who ultimately ended up helping me was talkative and friendly. Ultimately, he told me that my phone was broken, but that I qualified for a replacement phone which they would be giving me that day. Words cannot describe how happy I was, and I thanked him profusely. He explained where I should go to have it activated, and answered some non-iPhone related questions for me before we parted ways. All and all, their staff did a fantastic job. I felt like an individual, and not another commission today in a sea of customers. Even if I hadn't qualified for the replacement under my warranty and had to pay out of pocket for a repair, I still would have been satisfied with how I was treated.
