Writing this review more as an FYI of a mistake I made so that others do not make the same mistake. It's not clear that the employees provide accurate information on the plans and deals being offered by Verizon. In my case there were two deals that I was sold on which led me to both switch phone carriers to Verizon from Sprint, and to buy a brand new phone. In the end neither of the deals applied to my type of plan and phone and I was locked into paying way more than what was told to me by the employees. Before buying anything or making any binding decisions in the store, I would call Verizon and speak to someone with more accountability. Maybe this is common knowledge but I assumed I could trust the employees. read more

Giving 1 star because I can't not give one. Salesperson kept trying to push items I didn't want when I was in the store. Asking the question 13 different ways will not get you a different answer. Additionally, they charged me a fee without notification, and added me to a distribution list without my consent. If you're going to do business there, be very explicit and tell them exactly what you want, and if you want to maintain your privacy, then tell them not to add you to any sort of list. read more

If you go here, be sure to know exactly what you need when you walk in and do not rely on the sales associates for help because apparently they'll do anything for a buck. This review is long overdue. In July 2018 I ran into this store panicking because my iPhone had been lost in Concord, and I'm not from there and needed it for directions home. I was flustered, and desperate to purchase a new phone on the spot. I had insurance on my phone, but instead of using it I took the ADVICE FROM THE SALES ASSOCIATE and purchased a new phone all together. He told me it would be cheaper in the long run, and I'm a student, living on my own, without money to spare, and I trusted that he was doing his job to help me. NOPE. Not only am I paying off the phone I purchased that day, but I am still paying off the phone I lost in Concord. I called Verizon, I called IM Wireless, and because everything is via contract there is nothing they can do. In my eyes this store owes me $660. read more

Update from 11/20: Craig Barrelle from the store contacted me and refunded the $100. Though the experience was not the best, he did make up for it. Changed my rating from 1 star to 4... -------------------------- I have been doing business with this location for many years (have bought numerous phones for family and business and have many voice and data lines). The location recently came under new ownership. As my old faithful Blackberry was dropping too many calls, I finally broke down and purchased a Motorola Android HD for around $400 (at the upgrade price). I was a little wary about the Android since I had problems with one the last time I went this route. However I was told I could return it for an iPhone if necessary. I actually preferred the iPhone5 but they did not have any in stock and the sales person recommended the Moto Android HD. (He did not mention a "restocking fee" but my assistant told me about that later.) I returned one week later with the phone in pristine condition and was told the fee was $50 which I had expected. "OK" I said. After carefully examining the phone, the sales person placed it in the box. Knowing it might take some time to switch the information to the new phone, I then went to the car for my newspaper and came back inside to find him on the phone with someone who I later learned was the store owner. Apparently the Android was dropped and a barely perceptible mark was on the corner of the edge. It really was barely perceptible. (In fact, if he had an issue with it, why would he not have said anything as soon as he picked it up? Instead he had rubbed his finger on the edge, squinted his eyes as he looked at it, and placed it into the box.) I had not noticed this and for all I knew the phone may have been sold that way (I am sure it was not, but it is possible I suppose). However, I was now told that the mark caused the "restocking fee" to be $100. I said "OK, but you have negatively impacted your customer relationship" (or something like that, it may have come out "What? What do you mean you're charging me $100!? blah, blah, blah blah" You get the picture) But here's the interesting part - I had said "OK" and was ready to move on. Really. I was. However, the sales person wanted to be sure I knew that this was my fault, that they would have to discount the phone by $100 in order to sell it and that (yes, again) that this was my fault. (Perhaps part of him knew this was not really reasonable and he felt guilty about it? Nahh... probably not.) I said "you have made the choice to charge another $50 and potentially lose a customer. I don't think that is a very good decision and arguing with me about this does not help". He continued to tell me that I damaged the phone and that they would be unable to sell it now and had to discount it by $100. I said "I get it and you have lost a long time customer for $50" (Not to mention what actual costs there are to "restocking" other than putting it back on the shelf and the paperwork). I got so frustrated with the arguing, that I finally decided to just have my Blackberry reconnected and forgo the iPhone. When he continued I said "why are you still arguing with me?, I just need my refund and my phone reconnected. If you keep arguing I'll need to call your boss" to which he replied "go ahead and call my boss". Wow... I left without my old phone reconnected and without a new phone. Back to the Blackberry. I guess this is one way to handle customer service. Though I certainly was not happy with the $100 penalty, and do not think it was reasonable, had I been treated courteously and had the sales person simply acknowledged my perspective, I doubt I would have left without a phone and posted this message. But do these places really discount pristine phones with tiny marks by $100? I would like to hear if they do. It's one way to make a quick $100 and of course lose a customer of many years. Go to the Verizon Wireless in Concord and ask for any imperfect Androids. I hear they sell them for $100 off... read more

The store itself is fine and on par with other Verizon stores I've been to, but I'm giving 2 stars because I can't figure why there is a Verizon store in a town which has no Verizon coverage. Expand your cellular network coverage to a location first and THEN put a service store in the location. read more

I just had my second bad experience this year in this store. And both were for very simple things that should have been no problem. First I bought a wall plug charger and cord. They don't carry Apple products so I bought the brand they carry. After 5 weeks, the cord died. 2 weeks ago, I went for a case for my iPhone 6S. Needed it for traveling the next day. They had a very poor selection and gave me one that they said was right for my phone. I bought it despite a high price. They put it on my phone. When I went to use it on the airplane, it proved NOT to be a correct fit. It didn't accommodate an earphone jack. I removed it, never used it and brought it in for refund today. They tried to argue that it DID fit because I could use it with wireless headphones! When I asked for a refund with a copy of my bill, they asked me for the box, saying they couldn't issue a refund without the box, which they never gave me because they put the case on my phone while I was in the store. They denied that was possible. I was out $42! People should be aware this is NOT a Verizon store. It is a private store that buys a license from Verizon. Look elsewhere for your phone products!!! read more

This Verizon wireless is store is literally good as it gets! I knew I had to eventually go into a Verizon to get a new phone and I was dreading the whole process. I'm not a tech person and had no idea what I was even looking for. The sales rep I worked with was very patient and asked me questions to identify my needs. He then made a recommendation upon the information I gave him and got me a phone that is great for me. The gentleman answered all my questions and worked with me until I felt comfortable with my new phone. This store is now a Verizon Wireless store. The staff were helpful and friendly but i ran into problems which perhaps would have been avoided if I understood phone contracts more clearly but, 1. They told me I needed to upgrade gigabytes because they could see that my son was using too many and I would be charged on my next bill. . (When I went home and checked, this was not true. I"m not sure why they would say it..) I did upgrade as I was getting my daughter a smart phone as well. 2. I was told I could get a free tablet (with rebate) and return it within 14 days. I returned it the next day, rethinking my need for it, and found out I would have to pay a $75 restocking fee. I feel I should have been told that when I bought it. 3. The machine that transfers data was not working, and I was sent to a Staples store in the next town, which sold Verizon phones and where they said I could get a data transfer. When I went there, I was told it would cost $70/phone. read more
