Had my iPad serviced at this location and 2 days after it being serviced. I simply picked it up and my thumb cracked the newly fixed screen. Fast forward to today; I went into the same location and started off by speaking with a very nice lady, but our conversation was soon interrupted by John Rhine, the store manager and quickly starts to escalate the situation. Without even looking at the device he said it's not their fault and would not be doing anything for me for the newly damaged screen that was caused by very little pressure from my thumb when picking it up. Now I'm sure this may happen a lot where people come back in after there screen is fixed and may have dropped it and claimed it was from a faulty install. John Rhine was quickly dismissive of anything I had to say and was raising his voice as soon as he came rushing out from the back. John Rhine starts yelling at me claiming I threw my iPad onto the counter and said he had it on camera. I never ever threw my iPad and would love to see the CCTV footage of me doing this. He would not speak to me any further about the matter and demanded I leave the store. Not once did John Rhine try to speak to me in a de-escalating matter and was completely rude for the very start. After spending over $200 on this repair I would not expect it to break from a little bit of thumb pressure. Buyer beware, after they have gotten your money, they seem to have little to no respect for someone questioning the work done and in fact I felt very disrespected and am unsure how a person like this could hold a manager position when they clearly do not know how to deal with customers or de-escalate a situation. I have reached out to the corporate head quarters and had a good conversation with Lisa who said someone from higher up will contact me in the next coming days. read more

I can't say enough great things about this location! Very easy and convenient site. I made an appointment online, got a $10 off coupon for a replacement of an iPhone 7 battery. The female employee was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable and thorough. She knew exactly what she was doing, and my battery was replaced in less then 15 minutes! How can you beat that??? Another big electronics store with their own group of techs, wanted me to wait potentially 2-3 hours for the same service, even though you make an appointment! If you're looking up places to get your iPhone screen fixed, absolutely skip right over this place. For $80 bucks they gave me the wrong screen color, which I was understanding about like fine whatever I'll still give you a sale cause I'm not a jerk and then it didnt last a month. I called to see if maybe they had a level of morality and would fix it but NAH, theyre just in it to screw you by installing screens with poor integrity waiting to shatter. I have used Batteries Plus for several years, but I recently bought a tractor battery (5-17-23) and used the tractor a few times over the past month. However, when I tried to start the tractor last week (6-20-23) all I heard was a clicking sound. SO I called my local tractor repair center to pick up the tractor to diagnose the problem, -- thinking it can't be the battery Right? It's brand new - or so I thought. The tractor repair center ran a test and found the battery was in fact over a year old and would not hold a charge. So they recycled the old battery and installed a "new" one. When I contacted Batteries Plus they informed me that their batteries "come with a 6 month free replacement warranty for manufacture defects but the warranty would not include money back on the purchase." Needless to say I won't be purchasing from Batteries Plus in the future. read more

Love the lifetime watch battery replacement they offer here would be silly not to take part in that service. Also the battery recycling, that service is expensive though since it is by the pound. I'll have to remember to come by more frequently with the batteries before the pile gets too big and too expensive. read more

**OK for batteries, but be very careful of the up-sell on everything.** Review based on interactions in late Dec 2012/early Jan 2013. My father has an older model Craftsman battery operated 18V drill in which he suspected either the charger and/or the battery was going. Being over 5 years old I assumed it might be both. This sounds like a job for Batteries Plus! Since this place is very close I dropped off the charger & battery for a diagnosis. I actually had to argue with the salesperson for several minutes about "what they should do if the battery is bad". Apparently "Call me to discuss it" wasn't the right answer. We finally settled on "diagnosis and call the customer" for the note. I told them there was no rush on the item and went on my merry way. Two weeks later I get a call informing me that the rebuild on the battery is finished & that I can pick it up. Um, say what? I spoke with the guy on the phone for several minutes (might be a different guy) about why they rebuilt the battery without permission when all I requested them to do was to diagnose the unit. He said didn't know and told me that the "tech" would call me back next Tuesday to explain. So Tuesday comes and goes with no call. I waited till late Wednesday afternoon and went down to pick up the unit. Since I didn't feel like discussing the saga of the charger & battery yet again, I found that the battery rebuild not only came to $52 dollars, but that they had done absolutely no testing on the charger at all. Added insult to injury came when I was being rung up. I took a look across the counter at the original slip with the tech's notes on it. They had SCRIBBLED OUT my entire drop-off comments and written "WHAT???" above it on the slip! Yeah, great. Thanks. I suppose I should have chewed them out about failing to follow instructions, but I had bigger fish to fry later that evening and needed to get going. Net/net: I don't think I'll be back here for any serious work or batteries for that matter. I don't recommend dealing with these guys unless you absolutely have to. read more

This review is for the Batteries Plus on Rt. 20 in Marlborough (at the new Apex Plaza). Very nice employee (Willow) fixed my very cracked S7 screen which I had just dropped. It was ready in less than 2 hours. I can't say if the price was competitive because this was the only place I called ($189 plus tax). She also gave me recommendations for a better phone protector :) and fixed a setting on my phone that I was complaining about. Would not hesitate to go back. I dropped off my ipad to get repaired for a cracked screen. I was told that I would get a call when it was ready the next day. I never got a call and I had to call back several times to check on the status. I was told that it needed a new battery as well, since it shorted out when the new screen was put on, for which I wouldn't have to pay. However, I was told each time that I called back that the battery hadn't arrived yet. 8 days later I picked up the device, which has no screen and needs a new battery. I was very unhappy with the lack of communication that I received from the store. read more

MY wifi hot spot went dead and I wasn't even sure what was the problem. I got a very helpful tip that it was probably the battery. Called this place up and they had a replacement hanging on a rack. Now, the price was about 5 times what they were going for on typical Beijing-to-Tennessee Warehouse stores, and those were so many duds and returns. I decided to opt for a real store where I could return to if there were any problems. I had my wifi back in a few hours, not the week it would have taken the cheapos to send me one. WORTH EVERY PENNY. Nice neat clean store in easy to get to .location, great counter service. read more
