My phone was not repaired in fact it was given back to me in worse shape than when I brought it. I brought it in for a screen replacement, it was a Galaxy note 20 ultra, I was told my phone should be done by 3pm, no call yet so I called, I was told my phone WAS repaired however failed a one of the 200 tests done when finished, it was something about a temperature sensor in the phone, they told me that it failed therefore they must undo the repair and give my phone back to me the way I had brought it in. So I was upset, however I understood, my wife picked up my phone as I was at work, when she picked me up from work and I opened the box to look at the phone, my back glass was destroyed... It gets worse, I won't go into detail but when I called send spoke with someone at the store and said I wanted my back glass replaced because it was not like that when I brought the phone... This is what she said to me "why do you need a new back glass your phone is been anyway"... My heart literally sunk hearing that, these guys think they are so good at what they do that if they can't fix the phone no one can apparently. So I responded to her "oh.... Alright I'll just throw this $1300 phone of mine away right?".... Oh but it gets worse, when I brought my phone to them, everything worked fine minus the screen, a door knob I was installing for my wife closet had fallen right on the screen one night that's how the phone broke, otherwise I baby the hell out of my phone, so nothing else was damaged at all what so ever... So anyway...I bought my own screen .. For $300 and had it installed at a shop, I sat with the owner/tech while he worked on my phone and watched him he was very careful and professional, after he was done, my screen turned on, and the phone worked.... Or so I thought..I put my sim card in, and my phone would not get signal at all .. It recognized the sim but it seemed the antenna wasn't working or damaged, next I noticed my phone would not vibrate, after that I noticed the bottom speaker wasn't working, and lastly, the microphone would not work, so no one could even hear me if I could even make a phone call.... When I called and spoke with the tech that worked on my phone prior to finding out he broke my back glass, he never told me he did, also he denied breaking it, he also denied damaging my phone, however they gave me a new back glass .... At this point what good is that right?...I thought I just got screwed out of a $1300 phone that I love...I called Samsung, spoke with one of the kindest and most helpful reps I have ever spoken to, his name was Marshall, he himself was upset at what I had been put through with this place, luckily enough i was sent a prepaid shipping label and was told to send Samsung my device and it will be taken care of, also he said he was personally going to get to the bottom of what happened here at ubreakwebreakmore ... You want your phone fixed? Stay far away from this place, I will never step foot near this place again I wish I never went there, I should have done the repair myself... This place is so awful, I'm 35 years old, 3 kids...a grown man, and I literally cried after what they did to my phone and what they put me through... It hurts...I have 3 kids I work 60+ hours a week to support my family, my wife is a stay at home mom so my income is the only income...I had been saving money since my note 8 to buy the next note, but when the 10 came out I didn't have enough money saved, when the note 20 came out I had enough money to buy the note 10... So I actually borrowed some money from my family to be able to buy my note 20 ultra... And they expected me to just throw it away because they couldn't fix it... But they made it so much worse I could have just bought a screen and it would have been fine, now it's useless... And not to mention the fact that I bought it from eBay, so for some reason it wasn't in Samsung US's system I was almost denied getting it repaired but the rep at Samsung was so amazing they were on the phone with me from 10:30 to 2 am trying to figure it out for me... TL;DR - Worst customer service experience ever! When given the option to bring your phone here or ship it back to Google for a repair, please don't ever choose this place. I cracked the screen on my Google Pixel 4 XL and decided to bring it to UBreakIFix because it was closeby. I brought it in at 11am and was told the repair would take 3 hours. Waited 3 hours, still no call. Waited 4 hours, still no call. I called them and they told me that it would be half hour of additional repair needed. They didn't call me back after 90 mins. Finally, after 6 hours of them having my phone, I decided to just go into the store. When I got there, they pretty much had it ready to go. The only catch was that my SIM card was no longer being recognized. They said I had to call Google to get the issue sorted out, even though it seems they are the ones who caused the phone to malfunction. It's not an issue of the SIM card because I'm using that same SIM card in an older Pixel 2 XL. I have been bounced back and forth between these guys and Google customer support several times in the last 24 hours. To say that this has been a bad customer service experience is putting it incredibly lightly. Do yourself a favor and ship your phone back to Google if you ever need to. Sent here by Asurion to replace my cracked S10+ screen under insurance. Repair was done within the given time frame. Samsung authorized facility, so same parts and tested for water resistance after repair was completed. Plenty to do in Highland Commons while you wait. read more

I had a Note 10+ with a damaged display that I needed to get fixed so I could retrieve some confidential information from. I sent the phone to UBreakIFix and they repaired my phone however undid the repair because I would not supply my pin.  As I said, I have some confidential information on the phone. I was willing to pay full price for the repair without a thorough test of the device.   It is absurd that uBreakIFix (or Samsung) went through the expense and effort of 2-way one-day shipping and installing/uninstalling the replacement screen.  I am very disappointed in uBreakIFix and Samsung. I have been a loyal customer of Samsung however I am going to reconsider my loyalty going forward after this experience.  I will not recommend either company's products in the future. read more

Their rookie tech ruined my son's phone that required a simple screen replacement. As a recently widowed father of 2, his phone is our lifeline, and now I'm screwed. Asurion and Verizon wireless need to find a better repair company. "Hey Mr. K______ I just wanted to reach out again to let you know that the plan that we had originally discussed to get the phone serviced at a different time with a new part will probably not work out as expected. Most importantly what I want to get across is that the phone as is, is not functioning to the standard that a technician who would be coming to service the phone at the newly requested time would be able to accept and perform a repair on. If I were the same technician running that day it might be a little bit different and I could possibly work something out, but since I cannot say for sure if I would be assigned to that particular job on the upcoming Monday I do not think it is a good idea to hold out for that. I would also like to take this moment to apologize for misinforming you and having you take the time out to reschedule and such, as this was my first day going out and doing remote tech I was not as prepared as I should have been for this particular situation. Bottom line you need a working phone and the phone you currently have is not in a functional condition in which you are able to operate the touch screen. My suggestion at this point, as well as what I should have said earlier is that since the phone can not be worked on by a technician you would definitely have to contact asurion one more time, apologies once again, and ask them to send you a replacement phone. If they ask for a reason, obviously a technician came by (me) and performed the standard processes of a remote tech and then found that the screen brought for the job was defective. Once attempting to reassemble the device with the old LCD, said tech (me) found that the old LCD screen would not display picture once reassembled. If this comes up then you should make it clear that the phone was in working condition when the tech (me) came by the house and that the damage incurred to the old LCD happened after the tech (me) attempted to repair the device and noticed the defective screen. This is important for them to know because if the phone was damaged prior I do not believe it would be covered but since the damage occurred while a tech (me) was on the job then it is up to asurion and us at UbreakIfix to correct the error/issue. BACKUP: -Since they will be sending an entirely new phone over to you once you tell them what happened, I would recommend that you or your son attempt to back up the files/photos/memory that are stored on the phone's drive to another source. Usually the easiest bet for this would be a computer that your son would be using most of the time so that he can access the files from there once they are backed up. -While the screen LCD does not actually display any picture, I believe all other functions on the phone should be in working condition, from what I had tested/observed while attempting the repair. -The display may not be useful, but you should still be able to charge it as well as plug it into a computer, the computer will likely prompt you on the actions you can take with the device once it is plugged in to the computer. [*If this does not work immediately I would make sure the device is actually on if at all possible (while attempting to backup files), this definitely could be somewhat of a challenge due to the LCD display not helping you at all. Despite the trouble it may cause this is definitely an important step if keeping the data stored on the device somewhere you or your son can access it at a different time is something that either of you would like. *If this is not something you guys are worried about then you can probably just go through with the asurion replacement and not be concerned with what I am writing to you about here.] -Once the computer gives you this prompt you would then select the option of whether you would like to import pictures/videos, sync media files, or simply open the device in file explorer to view the files on the device. This should allow you to access all of the data on the phone and then allow you to move them into a folder on the computer that you or more specifically, your son could access later. I apologize for not having the foresight to catch this sooner and help you with everything in person, I am still learning everything as I go and I understand how these situations can be frustrating. I do feel responsibility for not being able to make the best call in this instance and making the experience smoother for you as a client of ours, so I made my best effort to reach out to you at the end of the day and hopefully correct this mistake before it gets any more frustrating for everyone involved, most importantly you. read more

Wish you could give no stars. Called uBreakiFiix in Hudson on January 5th and explained I had a broken iPad Air screen, gave him the model number and got a quote for the repair and dropped the iPad off. Got a call over the weekend and he told me they were having trouble getting the part and since the iPad was operational I should pick it up until they got could get the part. Picked the iPad up today and was met with a blank stare when I asked when she thought they would have the part. She said stores are individually owned and some have access to "secondary" market but the Hudson store is not one that does. She said I should try another repair store!!! So don't waste your time going there go to one that does have access to parts!!! read more

Shane, the customer rep I dealt with, was courteous and knowledgeable. He explained the process of shipping my device and the diagnostics they'd run to determine the problem. I shipped the device, they ran the diagnostics, and then Shane gave me a call to let me know what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix it. The repair was reasonable in both scope and cost, so I OK'd it. They ordered the part and made the repair ahead of the estimated date. Of course, if a repair is too costly and it makes more sense to simply buy a new device, then there is a reasonable charge for diagnosing the repair. But, hey, they did the labor to figure out the problem, so they should be paid. And, of course, since I just heard from Shane today that the repaired device was ready for shipment, I'll have to run the device a while after I receive it to make sure it works properly. I have a strong feeling it will be fine. uBreakiFix is an HP authorized service center, so there is some credibility there. On the whole, I'd say, if your smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc. breaks, give 'em a call to see if it's worth fixing. read more

They not only fixed the problem, but went above and beyond in helping me. I am technologically challenged and, even more than their professionalism and skill in fixing the phone, I appreciated their kindness and helpful attitude.
