I visited this Verizon today because of technical issues with both my tablet and IPAD. Ashly did a fantastic job by fixing both my tech issues. She is very professorial and knowledgeable with great customer service skills. She also offered me other promotional deals and answered all my queztions. I highly recommend to all my family and friends to visit this Verizon store because all the employees are knowledgeable and customer friendly. Thank you Ashly very much. I had 2 great experiences at the Murrieta Verizon store! Cinthiya & Minhaj provided the best service I think I have ever had with a mobile carrier!! I was an AT&T customer for a long time but my new home was a "dead zone"..it was awful so I researched Verizon. I had questions about a Verizon online offer that I was having trouble completing on the website. When I went to the store I expected to spend a lot of time explaining my needs and sitting through upsell games for a device that I didn't need but my experience was the opposite. I received much more help than I expected. They were both very positive and helpful during the process and I left happy! A few days later I received a follow up call from Cinthiya checking in to make sure everything was working. After that call I realized that one phone was not working with Verizon yet. I went back to the store and Cinthiya was eager to help with the activation issue I was having. I didn't realize when I walked in that it was closing time but I was never rushed by the staff. Minhaj was also there to assist with the process. Both phones were successfully ported over and I now have cell service in my home!! Thank you so much to them both for their patience and help!! Not sure why this is getting filtered, but I'm here to provide an honest review. Still terrible. Since it's filtered I'm reposting my experience with them. If you want to be treated like a second class citizen, visit the Verizon Wireless Store at Village Walk in Murrieta. I purchased a phone from them less than a week ago, and a helpful associate named Ryan worked with us. I was having issues with the phone being defective yesterday (phone would randomly reboot, screen would display artifacts) so my wife went in and Ryan was kind enough to exchange it. Today, the new day old cell was having issues, with the touch sensors turning black / visible, and with the side of the screen turning orange when white webpages were opened. So since I'm on crutches and in a cast, my wife went in again for me, and this time was a total change of attitude. A very caustic employee named Nicole informed my wife, "we can't just keep switching Palm Pres out for you every day.' Uh, as a reseller, it's your job to exchange defective products that you sell, and in turn return them to the vendor for proper credit. It's also not the customers job to play pity ear for you because you hate your life. Regardless, my wife came back to me, and informed of this behavior. So I went in, and Ryan tried to help us, but his manager John would not bend in any way shape or form. I wasn't trying to get anything for free, just trying to get the same phone free of defects. You think they would have thrown a bone to the customer, but nope, totally unprofessional, except once again Ryan, who was cool and calm, even if we were probably annoying him to no end! In fact, his manager wasn't even willing to switch the phone out, despite it being defective. The "manager" (read: child) didn't even bother to come out and talk with us, or try to work with us, talking through his employees and staying in the back of the store the whole time. Instead of being a good manager and checking on his sales floor, he did not come out of the back even once when we were there. This is what passes for management at Verizon Wireless? So what did we do? We went to Verizon Wireless in Temecula on Winchester Ave. They were more than helpful, and despite not even getting the phone from them, they had us try out phones until we found a working one with no defects, and exchanged it for us no problem. I would highly recommend going to Verizon Wireless in Temecula as opposed to Murrieta, even if it is 15 more minutes out of the way. Stay far, far, away from Murrieta Verizon. The sad part was is my dad recommended it to me, raving about the customer service, but after explaining to him what happened, he will not be going back. Just make the drive to Verizon Wireless Temecula, it's well worth the extra drive. If for some odd reason you have to go to the Verizon Wireless store in Murrieta, then ask to work with Ryan. read more

I had a great experience here with Anthony. I was up for an upgrade and knew exactly which phone I wanted, how much it would cost up front, and how much I would end up paying per month (due to lots of my own research). he did show me other products that I could have added on, but didn't push me at all when I said I wasn't interested. he was super efficient and friendly and I walked out with exactly what I wanted after not even half an hour. Definitely the most painless Verizon experience I've had, and I've been with them through like 6 phones. thanks again, dude! read more

Went in to Verizon to become a new customer and ordered a new phone. The girl helping me (didn't get her name) was awesome. She switched me over ordered my phone and told me to come back in when I received the phone so they could transfer all my information. She was very helpful and polite! I received my phone about a week later and went back in to have everything transferred over from my old phone to my new phone. The store was very busy and I had to wait about 15 minutes for a service tech. (Wish I would have waited for the girl that helped me the week before)The girl that helped me was not very friendly and didn't seem to like her job. She was trying to back my phone up and it was taking a long time. She said it was because I had so much stuff on my phone. Not true, I had just cleaned everything out. She said it would be best if I went home and used my wifi because it would be faster. Really? When I was walking out I said something to the greeter and he told me the wifi at the store is really slow because all the devices they have connected to it. REALLY? Get more. All of the staff members I work with are friendly and very knowledgeable, especially Tatiana. She is patient, kind and really knows her stuff. She answers all of my questions, helps me set up the phones that I purchase and never rushes me. I really appreciate her always making my phone buying experience a good one! I have been here 3 times in the past 2 months. Each time I have received impeccable customer service. Mike helped my husband and add an iPad mini and all accessories onto our account and we loved it. The discounts were greatly appreciated for being verizon wireless customers. Then when I shattered the fiberglass phone shield he sold me (so glad he did because it saved my screen) I came back in to have him apply a new one which he did perfectly! He then set me up with Kory to get my verizon fios internet options. When we were ready to order that both of them were off but Alonso helped get everything ordered and honored the same discounts I had been offered online. Melissa, the manager was very helpful Too and I informed her of the great customer service I have experienced. Will continue coming here for all my verizon needs! read more

I was there recently and had a great experience. I was helped by Nicole, I'm sure it was the same Nicole as referenced in the comments from Art E. (Murietta) and this was not my experience at all. Maybe Art should have gone in the first place instead of sending in his wife. I see even when you went to the Temecula store you still didn't get your phone. Nicole was friendly, polite and very courteous and helpful as were the other staff in the store. Usually when people make harsh comments about others like "hating your life", it is usally a sign that they hate theirs. I would if I was on crutches. This store is just another retail store. There's nothing special about it as far as their customer service. I'm giving them 2 stars because the expectations of their customer service are low. I always feel their representatives are a bit snobby, and they always give you a motive not to come back, like how they forget you're next after another person, or how they put buts and what not in something you wish to have. I wanted to upgrade my phone. I went to my location in Temecula first but they didn't have the color I wanted in stock so I drove to Murrieta. I got Chris and had a bad experience. The entire time he was cold and rude. He wasn't exactly pushing products but rather assumed and was adding them to my bill. Like a $50 screen protector, a $50 charging pad, etc. I kept saying I don't want that. Then I said I got screen protectors on Amazon so I would wait and do that and he practically mocked me saying "how cheap are you trying to go?". It's not cheap but I'd rather look up reviews and find a good one. I'm willing to pay for a good screen protector but paying $50 for the otterbox brand because the Verion guy told me too isn't enough. But mocking me was so rude. I signed the agreement but then caught he was still charging me something so I told him to take it off and only sign me up for the phone contract and let me pay the taxes that day. I didn't know I had to sign the agreement again and he was so annoyed by that. It then put the taxes on the bill so I asked when the bill comes due and he said "when it always does". I don't get the bill so I don't know. He wasn't willing to look it up for me so I have to wait until my business tells me the bill comes in. Just super unhelpful. Then he hands me the phone wrapped in a box and goes, "here's your phone". They always open it and make sure everything is good so i was surprised. I started opening it and he said "you're good to go" in a go away tone. Literally no one else was waiting so I just walked to the table to finish upwrapping it. Meanwhile, he went to the other two workers standing there so he could continue watching football that was playing on the counter the whole time. Sorry to disturb your game... This was my first time at this location and definitely won't be coming back. Next time i'll wait until Temecula gets more in. read more

I would give no star if it would allow me to. I went in here last night, my mom needed to renew her discount through her work. We were "helped" by the manager Danielle or Daniela. She was extremely condescending and pretty rude. My mother has been a verizon customer for 10+ years and she gets treated and talked to like Shes an idiot. She was not at all the least bit helpful and I was really surprised with how she talked and presenter herself because I manage a Starbucks and would never have given the low level of customer service she provided. I went in to purchase a new iPhone 6 knowing that I didn't have an upgrade available so I was told that I would get a "loyal " customer discount of $200 off the price of the phone since I had been with them since 2002 . Well the guy helping me said oh I can do better then that ! Said he would get me the phone for $350 out the door instead of $549 and started giving me all this "free" stuff that I didn't even want ! I paid $350 and left with my phone only to find out when I went to pay my cellphone bill that it was a lot higher and had charges for new equipment. So of course I call to find out that what he actually did was sign me up for the edge program so now I have a payment of $33 a month for my phone and I owe the whole $749 ! The $350 that I paid at the store was for all the "free" crap that he gave me !!!! As soon as my contracts are up I'm leaving Verizon ! Stay away from this place unless you want to be scammed! read more

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had a wireless store. We added a line and a phone to our already existing Verizon account and put for in store pick-up. Which was supposed to be ready within 2 hours of the order. Over 3 1/2 hours after the order was placed and paid for my I went to pick up the phone and transfer the number. When I arrived I was advised they had not processed the order. After a few minutes they came out with the phone and a basket of products for me to add to "a bundle" which was their main concern. The new line and phone was added to a family account. Since I was not the name on the account they would not release the phone to me. Even if the main account holder added me to the account they contacted her to get verbal permission. With an CDL with the same last name and address. The phone and the line were ALREADY paid for. When I told them we would like to cancel the transaction the team member said that would be fine that there was no transaction complete. I asked her for documentation that the line that had been added and phone that had been paid for was canceled. She again advised me she could not provide that because it never happened. I showed her my receipt that said different and she said that didn't matter and there was nothing she could give me. When I got home I called customer service advised them of what had transpired and they assured me the transaction had been processed and the contract was added to the account. Then placed me on a brief hold because there is actually a special department that had to cancel the transaction. She then came back on the phone a gave me a cancellation which I was advised in store was not needed. I am glad I listened to my gut and called to confirm the transaction was cancelled or I would have been stuck. The employees at this store need some training. read more

This is just our experience. Not only is headquarters getting a letter but calling the manager and general manager. Both of whom have no customer service skills. Kathy is the blond pixie who checks you in and says acts as assistant manager. Next co manager is Melissa. This store SUCKS. For awhile there, service was good. When Max was there. But Melissa. Steer clear. She does not know what she is doing. After they made us switch from unlimited plan to paid GB plan we turned new phone on and for two days proration for our 8GB plan then phone says we were already over and would be charged xxx. We go to store and Melissa explains things her way which was rude, obnoxious, and vial. She explained no options to us that would resolve our problem. We call *611 and they changed in five minutes to correct and provide the appropriate customer service. Nicole the original girl never added the new data plan couldn't even find the plan we wanted and I had to call *611 while in the store. Then she found it. Wow. Waiting to speak to Roy the real manager who has no idea what his two employees are conniving against people. They are covering for each other. They need a store management makeover. Looks like morale is down and everyone a beginner. We weren't the only ones bewildered with their customer service. About three other people that day shaking their heads and commenting on workers in store. That is why this yelp is so important that they cannot delete and a letter to manager of that office and general manager. They need to fix this store. Store make-over. read more

The Murrieta, Ca Village walk location is by far the worst! Terrible customer service by the "Manager" ADRIENNE by farrr!!! ADRIENNE was rude from the time we walked in the store. We had purchased 2 iPhones over the phone and had it delivered to that location. They gave us one phone and said that the other phone was pending even though we paid for both phones at the same time. When I asked ADRIENNE what pending meant she said "I dont know you have to call customer service" I called customer service in front of her and the customer service rep told her that all agreements were signed and she should proceed with us the phone. The manager told the the rep that it still said pending and there was nothing she could do. Had ADRIENNE been more helpful in trying to figure out what was going on instead she brushed us off with her passive aggressive, condescending attitude!!! I do not recommend this store and will proceed to take further action! We had to walk out the store. Needless to say after hours on the phone with customer service we canceled the order. I refuse to deal with that location ever again!!! read more

What a bunch of lazy employees! They need of some serious retraining in Customer service ASAP! I have been treated better at the local burger joint! Anyway, a woman did finally greet us and then promptly did nothing. She was able to help someone who arrived, AFTER, us immediately. At that point, I was disgusted and we left the store extremely angry and disappointed, while she called out to us. NO THANKS! This is not the first VERY negative experience, I have had with Verizon, in recent years, NOT by a long shot! Some time ago, my old land line 951-600-0741 was used to purchase an I Phone fraudulently way up in Northern California. I contacted Verizon and received instruction on how to report the fraud. I went to the local Police, filed a report and sent it to Verizon, as instructed. After all that, your company also did nothing and stuck me with the $200 bill for a phone I never ordered. Thanks for nothing and I mean that literally! By the way, I went to a non-company store locally and the new phone was activated in less than 5 minutes. Apparently, the Village Walk store has a quite WELL KNOWN reputation, for being extremely lousy, as other Customers have complained to the same guy who helped us. I can attest to that fact, BASED ON THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, and will be giving that location the lowest possible rating on YELP and any other sites, I can warn the public against doing any business at that particular store. This was NOT the case the last time I renewed my contract. Boy, have times and the people who work at that LOUSY VILLIAGE WALK store in MURRIETA, CA changed drastically IN THE LAST YEAR OR SO. I will go to Costco NEXT TIME, when my contract expires, at the end of the year and chose a different carrier, who will provide ACTUAL service. I have had nothing but positive experiences at this location on several occasions. To begin with the wait is very short. No matter who you speak with all of the employees are extremely knowledgeable & I felt no pressure to purchase their products. Disregard any of those old reviews. Mike, Brett & Ryan have all assisted me & I felt valued as their customer. They provided me exceptional service & I'm one picky customer. I also witnessed the attention they were giving to their other customers as well. One elderly customer came in and was getting a new phone and they offered her a chair right away & some water. She seemed very happy with her new purchase. I went into this location for an upgrade on the T Day holiday weekend & waited 5 mins to be helped. Mike knew I had some issues turning in the old phone & was very considerate making sure all my data transferred over. These employees are really knowledgeable & very nice. Check them out! read more

Instead of trying to sell me something else, he came back with the addresses of stores that did have that phone. He was attentive and pleasant. Went in to get a new phone because my phone stopped working, however I didn't know what phone to get so I wanted help. Well I get there and I get this female named Nicole I believe, not too sure that's how unimppressd I was with her. Well I get her and immediately I noticed she had this attitude that she didn't really want to help, then she asks what phone do I want I said I'm not sure and before I could say anything else she tells me to call her when i was ready? I thought to myself ok um that's helpful. So I look around and I find a phone that I had questions about I try to find her and she walks over, I asked her a simple question about the phone something she should have known since she works there, and she googled it on her iPad..like really I could have done that? Every question I asked she googled it. She was the most useless sales person ever. Then I asked about one certain phone and she needed to see if they even had a certain phone in stock and she brings it out like if I was going to buy it? First she didn't ask which color and gb capacity I wanted and if I actually wanted it she just wanted to make a sale which didn't make me to happy. So I left. It seems I'm not alone in detesting this store! I wish I could write this review so that Verizon Corporate would see it. I'm guessing they never search Yelp or this store would either have closed long ago or they'd have completely changed employees and managers. An employee there on the 20th (release date for 5C & 5S) lied to my face and mis-represented policies. He also tried to cheat my son out of the full value of his phone that was to be used as a trade-in.... after TRYING to, which I caught, he then denied him the opportunity to use the value toward the purchase of his new phone. They lie, they cheat, and they don't care. It is my mission to have at least that employee fired if not the manager, too. She was awful. Let me know (via sighs, rolling eyes, and no focus on my situation) that I was not welcome there nor did she care about what happened to us/my son. Awful AWFUL store!!! Go ANYWHERE else. Help in the store has been fine- great. My complaint is the restart on our TV almost daily, at times more than once a day for FIOS to reboot. Upsetting when you are into a show and it gets frozen! Bobby has helped us a few times before and has always been rude and unknowledgeable. The other day was the last straw for us when Randall told us we could not get internet service by itself and tried to up sell us on a package we did not need or want. He didn't listen to our needs, or even pull up our account to see what he could do for us. HORRIBLE SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION. The VERIZON WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO SIGN UP WITH THEM! I have been a customer of Verizon for approx 8 years. On Nov 6, 2011 i was called from the Customer Loyalty department and offered a new phone with data plan. I told the rep I didn't want to pay that much and was looking at Wal-Mart or Boost Mobile for the unlimited $50 per month. He then offered me a rate of $20.00 per month for 2GB's of data instead of $30 per month. As this would have made my bill approx $65.00 per month and I have always had good reception and service with Verizon, I said okay. The problems were immediate. I received my statement for change of service with $30 data plan, I called and was told by Jorge in customer service it would be taken care of. He did this by changing me to a 300mb plan. When I got a text saying I had used half my data in less than 2 weeks (with little usage) I called on 1/18/12 and found out about the change. After arguing with Jack in customer service, he sent me to Laura in Customer Loyalty. She said she didn't know what my original caller (I wish I had his name!) was looking at, but she would take care of it by giving me a $10 credit on my bill every month until I changed phones or plans. Today my bill went up again, I called again and Anthony in Customer Loyalty said that there was no $20 2GB plan ever, and no way to credit my account every month. Basically, I was screwed. And to add to the fun, I absolutely HATE this phone (LG Enlighten). I will absolutely be a former customer the day my contract expires! Be very careful with Verizon! read more
