I do not recommend buying your cell phone from this Verizon store. I went in to take advantage of the $100 off the purchase of your iPhone, I was told that I qualified and long story short, after spending more than half an hour talking about the plan details and me mentioning the fact that I would not turn in my phone, the sales guy last minute mentions the fact that I have to turn my current payed off phone in Order for the promotion to work. Additionally, I was told I had to pay a set up fee (a service I did not need) or I can get it waived if i purchased accessories from the store, and let me tell you accessories in this store aren't cheap. I ended up buying something I did not need just to get the phone. So at the end of the day I felt like I got ripped off. At best buy they had the same deal, the same day without having to turn in my phone or pay set up fees. Unfortunately it was too late I had already bought my phone from this location. read more

I had gone in to look for a watch and found my new permanent Verizon store. I was very politely greeted at the door when i showed up. Fortunate for me there were not many other customers in the store when i arrived so I was able to chat with Bri, Brennan, Eric, and Steve about the two watches i was looking at. As other customers came in, they dispersed to help them out and Bri ended up ordering me both watches to the store for me to try on. They arrived two days later and i came back in to check them out. Again politely greet and when Bri saw me, she immediately told me to hang on and ran to the back to grab the watches. Once everybody was done with their customers, they came back over to chat with me about the watch, what it could do, the basics on getting started with it and Bri ultimately got it set up on my account and ready to go. All of the employees that I worked with here were very nice and had no problem working with me and my indecisiveness. i would highly recommend this store to anybody that is looking for some help with phones, services, or accessories. read more

What's with all the bad reviews? I had a pretty great experience here a few weeks ago. I was on my way to the Camarillo outlets and noticed my phone acting up. This was the last thing I needed during such a busy week. I decided to stop somewhere on the way to have it checked out. The staff here was fast, efficient, and more concerned about my phone than I was. My phone problems were solved and I left with some pretty handy accessories that made my life easier. My job requires a lot of field work and commuting, and one thing I need at all times in case of emergency, ESPECIALLY as a parent, is a working phone + accessories at a reasonable price. I am thankful that there is a group of people out there that share these same interests. I don't live in the area but come out here for work often so I'll be stoping in again soon. Stay away from this retail store, my brother brought in my 83 yr old dad for them to look at my dads tablet, they said they will give him a new tablet and phone for "free" some promotion they had told him. They end up changing everything on my account without contacting me, I am the ONLY person who is authorized to make any changes to my account. They end up changing my plan and adding insurance. Then I noticed all these receipts coming into my text msg when I was at work. At lunch I called Verizon 611 and I was on the phone for hours they told me the store changed everything on my account so they put everything back how it was before . I told my brother to return the tablet and phone, since it wasn't free after all. Verzion open an investigation since his store never called me to okay any authorization. The store failed to ask for ID as well. Still also waiting on Verizon Corp to call me back. I been a customer for 19yrs this was the biggest scam coming from this store. Manager asked me to call him I left a voice message i have not received a call back after two weeks. read more

Let me start off by saying I think most Verizon stores arnt that great. I have had really bad experiences at most of them. This one I feel is probably best that I've been to however still sketchy. I purchased two new iPhone12's a few weeks ago. Overall good service from Taylor but he did get me for a few things. They wanted to charge me almost $45 for "setting up" each phone. He kindly waived one of them. Come to find out it took all of 5 minutes!! He got me there. Then he tried to sell me on the protection plan saying "the phone is made of glass now" and proceeded to tell me a story of a customer who refused the plan and came back a week later with a broken phone. The iPhone 12 is made from glass to make it more durable!! Not LESS durable. Still however, good service. He gave us a good amount off the phones and it wasn't a surprise when I got the first bill. As in, what he said I would be charged I was. Give them a shot. read more

Terrible service. I've asked for status on a phone I ordered (they did not have it in stock). Jim said he would get more info and call me back and he never did. Another rep said he would call me on Monday with more information and he never did either. Let's see if the "Area Manager" calls me back. Apparently they can track any order or check on the status. Terrible place. Update: Cande, the area manager, did return my call with an update. The wrong phone was shipped and he reordered the phone and placed rush delivery on it. Phone was received two days later. I received a call from Amanda. I went in the same day and saw Amanda. She was friendly and set up my phone quickly. PLEASE READ, do not go to this location they are very sketchy,sneaky,and smart. They will tell you one thing and your bill will tell you another. Knowing this I upgraded recently to unlimited data so I asked the girl Niria if there will be an hidden charges because deal seemed too good to be true sure enough there was two payments of $55 she forgot to mention and also didn't mention my mom had to enroll in paperless billing even though I asked her 5 times "are you sure there won't be any hidden fees?" She says no. My bill jumped $100 and got it taken care of by a real Verizon store that's not a retailer out to make an extra buck instead of focusing on keep a customer whose been with Verizon since 2009. The lady I talked to today also said there was a missing credit when I traded in my phone to get the iPhone 12 that just wasn't added for some reason which was also fixed by the real Verizon customer support team. But the answer the retail version store gave me was "oh that person doesn't work here anymore so we're not sure." So that's over $200 that just went unrecognized. Also few years back sold me a used iPhone and told me it was real only to have APPLE tell me this isn't our product. If this kind of stuff is happening to me it must be happening to a lot of people. Never write reviews but this place is sketchy and want to save people money and time. read more

Fantastic! Visited this store yesterday to set-up a new phone. Victor was really helpful and took care of me quickly - no wait! He answered my questions and showed me what I needed to do. I later had to go back to the store because I was technically challenged. Mike provided excellent customer service and made sure everything was okay with my account and phone. He went above and beyond and was super pleasant! I used to go to the Simi store. No more! I'm telling all my friends and family to go to Moorpark!
