I recently purchased 3 Apple watches for my kids for Christmas. I spoke to a Verizon employee named Mo, very nice guy. The reason I am so upset he promised me the watches will be at my home by Friday the 22. I told him I need them before Christmas and he said I was good to go, not to worry. I pulled up my tracking from Fed Ex last night since they never arrived and it says the watches will not be at my place till the 26th. This has put me in a tough situation. Verizon Del Monte-Lousy Customer Service!!!! Lisa was clueless and her approach was to make sure i did not buy a new phone with Verizon. Her "boss" Chris called "solutions manager" was worse. I finally came up with the solution. Go to AT+T. The commercials already outsmart Verizon and now the lousy customer service experience with no follow up as promised by Lisa and Chris, has inspired this 20 year Verizon client with business and personal accounts to go shopping elsewhere. They will close soon as their only solution was for me to shop online-so why do they have jobs and why does Verizon pay rent for a useless storefront? read more

Just spoke to a rep who wanted me to come into the store rather than giving me the info I wanted via phone. she finally told me that their cheapest dumb phone plan was $70/month. My T-mobile is only $30 but has lousy reception, but I'm not complaining anymore. What is Verizon thinking?! $70 a month. WTF read more

one star ha i wish i could give them no stars! attention: everyone! do not give this verizon your service. if you must keep your carrier, they are a huge joke!! they dont care about there customers at all! i went there this evening with my sister in law just to get her a sim card because when talking to verizon over the phone they said some iphone cards are part of a problem or recall and just stopped working randomly. so they said to bring it to any verizon to have it replaced. so i looked up on my verizon iphone this store that specifically said open til' 7pm. so we drove all the way there just for some rude enployee to treat us like dirt while he let other customers out of the store. (mind you we were there by 5:10pm and to what he says on sundays they close at 5pm) well thats great seeing how we were told otherwise! instead of just replacing her sim card which would have taken under ten minutes to show that verizon honored the time mishap on there part! nope instead he shut the door on our face and treated others inside like they were more entitled. i am beyond pissed off! i have never been treated this poorly and sad to say my sister in law has to go all week without her phone because verizon screwed her over. so this store deserves a horrible rating and ill be writing to the manager! shame on you guys, its all about the customer service or did you forget about that when you slamed the door on our face! read more

I travel across the country and have had many occasions to visit different Verizon stores. I know by far that Luis was the most helpful person I have encountered. He was extremely knowledgeable about the plans and products that I needed and worked very hard to get me the best deal available. Kudos to him!!!! read more

I have been in this store one time for about 10 seconds, but that was long enough for me to be told that they have no little doohicky for transferring numbers from my old phone to my new one. This was a shocker because I thought for sure this shysty company would jump at the chance to wring another $10 out of me any chance they got. I have been with Verizon (reluctantly) for 10+ years and I've had good and bad service reps but as a whole, I wouldn't pee on Verizon if it was on fire. They nickle-and-dime me every time I go in, their contracts and phone upgrades are finagled so you're always tied to them somehow, and now my heart leaps with joy to learn that their p.o.s. backup assistant has backed up exactly 19 of my 100+ contacts. It was an awful experience and it was not the first. My husband upgraded his phone back in March and Ruth provided us with a bundle that included the case, the glass protector and a Bose speaker all at "no cost to us" too good to believe. We trusted (huge mistake) Ruth that all of the accessories were "included with the phone." My husband reviewed the purchase receipt and learned that ALL of the accessories were NOT included with phone. We immediately called the customer service and they clarified that we paid for everything. We went back to the store and Ruth refused to help us. Ruth stated that she was with a customer and she will be busy for couple of hours. I returned all of the accessories and got my money back. Second incident, my girlfriend and I were in couple of weeks ago and it was awful, awful I tell you. Once again, Ruth came into the picture because all representatives were busy. My girlfriend wanted to upgrade her phone to the iPhone 6 at the 2 yr price. Ruth explained how she DOES NOT deal with 2 yr pricing at that location and she could ONLY DO EDGE and she recommended for us to do it online. Lucky for us, my girlfriend's daughter works for Verizon in the Southern California Irvine area, so she was able to clarified all of this. Ruth lied to us and every location can give you a 2 yr price. My advice to you is to stay away from Ruth, she has no integrity, she does not take accountability for her actions and she will lie to you just to make a quick sale. Never again would I go back to this location. read more

The sales person signed me up for ring back services without my permission. I had to figure out why music was playing when people were calling. I logged onto my account to stop the unwanted service and found out I was also signed up for 24 hour emergency service which I cancelled. Unethical practices by Verizon sales persons! Verizon's customers beware and check your account before leaving the store. read more

The employees are rude, dismissive, liars. It feels like walking into a sleazy used car dealership once they start interacting with you. Oh, and forget basics of human social interaction like eye-contact, to say nothing of customer service. I'm a pretty easygoing guy and have been a customer for years. I only rarely have to go in. It didn't use to be this way at the Del Monte location, but wow, what a disappointment. Told me a lie about how my charger port on my phone was damaged (actually a dead battery) and started in on how I had no choice but something outrageously expensive. Almost forgot that they flippantly said all of my two pitiful discounts would go away with a new phone---even though I'm due an upgrade and the conditions that got me the discounts still exist. I am a reseident of salinas i went into the salinas store and the wait was over and hour long so i decided to head to the monterey store were i was helped by the associate Henry who explained to me everything (he is a spanish speaker which was a plus to me) on my bill and helped me decide on what phone to upgrade too i was very pleased with the customer service overrall i will be referring friends and clients to verizon Store in monterey.. OK I am not a fan of going into these stores usually because it costs me a ton of money and i don't know what i get or why i need it. Today I went in because i had the nokia twist (horrid worst phone ever!) and it was acting up and needed to be replaced for the third time. They worked on it forever and it wouldn't work. Thomas amazing had the patience of a saint and the skills of a wizard. Got me the envy and was happy as a clam! Then i had to get a charger because i completely forgot! Ruth W. at the Verizon store at Del Monte Center is nothing short of a saint. She was so patient (worked through her lunch break to help us), kind (answered all of my dumb questions, even the repeat ones) and did a miracle to get our iPhone working again. She helped us, made us laugh and didn't shame us for not understanding the concept of remembering passwords. I will stay Verizon's customer as long as Ruth W. works for them. read more

Very little waiting for a Sunday, very helpful staff in understanding the different operating systems of Windows, IOS, and Android.

This is the worst experience I have EVER had with a cell phone carrier..or with any business for that matter. Today will be the fourth time going into the store to figure out my phone. The first time I went in with my boyfriend and we stood 2 feet away from the only 2 reps in the store and they ignored us- no "hi, we'll be right with you" or "welcome to Verizon wireless "- nothing. The second time I went in and talked to them about how I can get a new phone and said "what are you willing to buy to get out of your contract?" Haha. Seriously. I told them the bargaining chip was my continued business. Finally received a deal to satisfy both of us and the phone hasn't been working!!! I go back and the manager said there was nothing they could do. I'm going back today because the service rep that sold me the bloody dysfunctional phone will be there. I'll delete this post if they fix it- if not, I'm afraid you're guaranteed bad customer service and possibly faulty equipment with no where to turn but small claims court to get your money back! read more
