We initially had an appointment on a Monday for a tech to come out from 2-4pm to get internet. No one showed up until 5pm, only one person and he wasn't able to complete or even start the job alone. We rescheduled for Wednesday 8-9am. At 10am with no call or text updates I called and waited on hold for 40 min, just to find out they had cancelled our appointment without notice. Then had to reschedule a third time. Wasted multiple days of my time. read more

This review is for the AT&T store (not sure why the Yell title says Starbucks except it's next to Starbucks). Bennett did awesome for helping me get a new device connected to our plan and pointed out we were eligible for some upgrades and good trade in offers. The surprisingly pleasant part is he got through 3 other customers super efficiently before me: unfailingly polite to an older man who was thinking of switching into ATT, another man who was paying a bill, a mom getting her son's plan changed, and myself. read more

I really wish I could give zero stars. I spent 2.5 hours in this store to get a hotspot and left with no hotspot... 2.5 hours!!! That's ludicrous. Then the guy basically tells us to start over with a new rep the next day because he isn't working. No thanks I'll pass, there are other carrier's who sell hot spots. read more

I needed a new cell phone, but I was not looking forward to the hassle of getting one. Went to the Del Monte AT&T Store, and to Costco but left empty handed and frustrated. Thought I would give the Sand City AT&T store a try, and bingo, it was a fantastic experience. Alexis helped me, and she could not have been sweeter. She set up my new phone, showed me how to delete everything off my old phone, put on a new screen protector and case, and I was set. Phone works great. Alexis was friendly, upbeat and knowledgeable. This place should have a do not enter sign at the door. They are the most incompetent people I've ever met in the industry, it's all starts with the manager he is the most disconnected person I've ever seen at a job, first off he's a waste of space I feel sorry for anyone working for or trying to learn anything from this guy. I came in with a simple request about my phone it was dropping calls and not holding its network. The moment I walked in the junior associate was trying to be helpful, and the manager was sitting there on his phone not being helpful at all,, he had a look on his face like he he would rather be anywhere than at work, and After they tried to reboot my phone, they told me a sims card would fix the problem but also stated it would take 10 minutes for the safe to open up, so they tried an procedure to get a code to reset it. I went to my car and when I came back, this had not happened and there was a phone call waiting for me to answer some questions in relations to my account. The questions were very irrelevant and it ended with them telling me they couldn't not help me. I said to the manager what do I now my phone is worse now than when I brought it in I tried to ask to the manager to at least return it to the original state He said he couldn't, I stated why you guys are the one that turned it off. He just looked at me with a smug expression on his face, and said it wasn't his problem, so I'm just telling everyone this store is a waste of space and that manager needs to go. This store is a joke. I went in on a Saturday, there was only one person in front of me. I waited for 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I was there to buy a Samsung note 9. They had the phone in stock. When they asked me if I wanted to pay for the phone on a 24 or 30 month plan, I said neither. I told them I wanted to fully purchase the phone outright and didn't want to add to my monthly family plan. They told me they could not do that. I asked what they meant, and they said they are not allowed to sell the phone outright, and you could only go home with it if you set up a payment plan!? They told me I could try going to the corporate store at the Del Monte Mall, which I had just come from (they were closed because they had an electrical fire). I've never heard of a store not allowing you to purchase something in full. I think they are pretty poorly trained as well because they referred another person to the "corporate store" because they couldn't figure out a billing issue. read more

This small AT&T store may not have every single phone and accessory in stock like the bigger stores (although, they actually have quite a bit), it's the customer service that can't be beat and I'm thrilled my wife and I went her for her new phone. Jordan is the best! He explained all of the differences of the newest phone options, pros and cons to each, and my wife selected the one she wanted. New colors were selected, new cases and accessories and all done with a minimum of wait. Jordan outlined the payment options and made the entire purchase almost too easy. This type of customer service can't be beat and I will continue to go this SPECIFIC store for my AT&T and phone needs. Thanks for everything Jordan! read more

Have purchased phones, accessories and support from this store. Consistently good service. Solved phone problems Del Monte store could not. Never had to wait very long so no need for appointment. Beware of this location, the staff is only concerned how to make additional commission on you. They will spend 99% of the conversation trying to talk you into unnecessary changes to your plan or lock you into new contracts. If you end up using this location, I recommend avoiding their employee Alexis. She was responsible for setting up the mobile hotspot we purchased through ATT. My husband is also a first responder, so after trying to upsell him on a phone line, tablet, and watch failed, she then failed to correctly set up the router & mobile hotspot we just paid $340.00. Alexis not only set up a phone line rather then our mobile hotspot, she also used a phone Sim card in the mobile hotspot router, rather then the correct Sim card. We figured out that night when trying to setup there was an error, however when calling today to try and resolve the problem, their employee brad repeatedly answered the phone & would hang up on my husband. Only after driving back to the store & speaking with the store manager jose did we begin to get any assistance correcting their mistakes. Between the horrible customer service & what seemed like intentional errors, I will not return to this store or recommend ATT read more

The guy name Lee helped us out. He tried to figure out what was the problem on my hubby phone since he had no reception at our apartment. Before he had no problems, now it is strange. He gave us a new simcard but mentioned that they have techs in the shopping mall in monterey. He was very informative and helpful. Need more staff like him. read more

This is one of the best AT&T stores that I have ever been to. Danielle and Juan were so helpful getting my elderly father a new phone. We had a complicated situation with my Mom passing away and having to switch accounts and get my Dad a new phone. They were sympathetic and extremely helpful with our situation. Horrible service, no reception and calls drop. When I canceled my account I called them several times and they guaranteed me that it was all done. 6 months later I get a creditor bill stating that I owe them money. They didn't want to own up to their mistake. read more

I walked in and asked for help setting up my wifi/internet on my new IOs 5. The new manager Alex Carrillo set up the net, and checked my settings to ensure my hotspot was activated and quickly went through my phone to fix other issues I was experiencing--all in a matter of a few minutes! Absolutely horrible service. Used excuse of Covid 19 to prevent me from seeing monitor. That and being 6ft back prevented me from hearing gal. Went in to upgrade to old phones. Then sent invoice to email rather than print it there. Didn't transfer my contacts, told me to do it at home, only she had already set up Apple account without giving me password. Total pain to access and change. She also added insurance at 15.00 a month I didn't ask for. Have total of 4 phones on account, bill has gone from 208.00 a month to 362.00. Still trying to figure out what happened. Will be having to call and get fixed or cancel ATT and go to another carrier. read more

Yesterday I purchased a new phone and was going to just do it online and have it mailed to me, but decided to just drop into the store to pick it up and I am glad I did! This AT&T location is excellent. I had a great experience. Jessa, who helped me with my trade in on the next program was very patient with me and all my indecisive decisions. She was very personable and able to help me make the right choice on a phone. Her manager Alex also assisted and was very friendly. I've been to this store a few times and frankly it used to suck. Complete garbage, people inside were rude and completely unhelpful, it was dark and difficult to get help. It just sucked overall. HOWEVER at some point it looks they remodeled, the pictures Yelp has are old and not accurate anymore, the store looks great. The staff members that helped me yesterday were the MOST helpful I have ever seen at an AT&T store in the entirety of the time I've been with AT&T. Aleah was kind, courteous, patient, and absolutely wonderful to work with, the the young man with her (that I failed to catch the name of) was just as helpful and amazing. Definitely better than I expected going in, better than I've ever been helped at the Del Monte Center location- Aleah stayed almost 2 hours past closing helping me with my activation and answering questions and showing me where I could find the answer if I forgot, just absolutely amazing. My daughter's new phone was not working and was still under warrantee. Additionally I am also paying insurance on the phone. After talking to the ATT folks on the phone they had my daughter drive all the way from Santa Cruz have her phone looked at. They run it through all the test to make sure there wasn't any damage on the phone. They could not find any damage. The manager at on duty takes a magnifying glass and say there's a nic on the screen and this invalidates the warrantee At her next break, I had her bring the phone back to me in the Bay Area and I take it to the local ATT shop. The person at the desk looks at the phone, and by the symptoms, suggested the battery is bad. We got a new battery and that fixed the phone Never do business with the sand city location. read more

I came in to straighten out a billing problem with a phone I bought at Costco. When the bill came, it still wasn't fixed. I went in again and was told only the manager could address the problem. I sat there with my children for 4 HOURS while waiting for the manager to check my bill. When he finally got around to it, it only took him 13 minutes to check my bill. read more

This place is awful. Do not come here. My wife and I bought iphone 5's here and our initial experience was ok. On purchase the salesman sold us iphone screen covers and told us that they had lifetime replacement. They were pretty expensive and my initial gut feeling was to not buy them, but it was nice not to have to apply them ourselves so we went for it. Well guess what....... when we went to get replacements they initially told us they were out, but the next time we came in they told us that the salesman was wrong and we couldn't get replacements. The woman manager was extremely rude! She acted like we did something wrong, even though she admitted that our initial salesman had been selling a bunch of people screen covers and saying they have lifetime replacement. incredibly bad customer service. When my wife asked for a corporate number the manager refused several times and when she finally gave it to my wife she told her it wouldn't do any good. This woman was the manager!!!
