I placed a mobile order for an iPhone 17 Pro 256GB with in-store pickup, which the Verizon app clearly showed as in stock at this location. I arrived at the store and was the only customer present. The sales rep told me my phone was being prepped and it would "only be a few minutes." A few minutes later, I was told to leave the store and come back in about 10 minutes because the system was supposedly down. While waiting, I watched the employee put the phone that was being set up for me back into a drawer. I returned after about 13 minutes and was then told that the phone I ordered was no longer available, but they did have the "next model up" -- conveniently with an upcharge. I was also told I'd need to call customer service myself to cancel the order. This was a complete waste of time and felt extremely dishonest. The phone was clearly available when I arrived, and it's hard not to conclude this happened because mobile pickup orders don't earn commission. Not all of the Verizon representatives in the location are courteous and respectful. I called in because my phone did an update and it's not working. I was trying to get help because I'm at work and can't just drive down to the store. The guy on the phone was very impatient and told me that "I will see you later today, I have to go, I have customers waiting." Didn't appreciate that as I was the first customer he was talking to and even though I was on the phone, I am a customer. This is rude customer service. read more

I had a big struggle with Verizon due to a bad rep starting my business account. The rep no longer works for Verizon, and my issues were never resolved. I have to give credit where credit is due though. Kat is a rockstar and did everything in her power to help. At the end of the day, I'm disappointed in Verizon as a corporation, and also disappointed with some of local management, but this store in particular deserves 5 stars for their kindness and compassion. This location is located in a strip mall near MOD pizza. There is plenty of parking available near the store entrance. The purpose of this visit was to buy a new phone because my current phone is about 2 years old. Paul Walker was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient in helping me find the best phone for my needs. He didn't pressure me into buying something more expensive or extra accessories that I didn't need. He even called other stores to see if the phone that I wanted, which was out of stock at this store, was available at a store near my home. My Daughter, Wife and I entered this store. Three employees at the quick to help us . We explained what we need to do. Ist guy passed on to another, second guy passed us to the other. Third person said nothing but gibberish, second and first guy suddenly wanted to help with more no you can't, why do want to do that , can't be done. None of them were willing to work without making their commission. Since no commission is to be made they were useless . GO elsewhere not that it would be any better. I can't rate the staff because they frequently change, and cannot share my opinion due to personal ties, but I will state an unbiased fact: the company that runs this Verizon location Cellular Plus will do what is right when it comes to taking care of their customers. Their employees are taught NEVER to turn you away to a corporate store because the company believes in taking ownership to find you a solution and earning customers for life. I had a problem with my SIM card suddenly not working after only owning the phone for 18 months. I was told to get an eSIM, so spent almost *4 hours* on the phone w/Verizon trying everything to get it to work. Finally was left with only option of going into my local Verizon Cellular Plus. Walking into the store, I was lucky enough to have Taylor help me right away. We tried again for an eSIM, to no avail. My last option was to have another physical SIM card added, which Taylor did in no time. He was very kind to me and extremely competent in his handling of my issue. Every time I visit the Milwaukie Verizon/ Cellular Tech store on McLoughlin Blvd I'm treated well. I recently needed to upgrade my phone and I was pleasantly surprised with Greg's quick and expert efforts. I am very pleased with the service provided by Greg. In addition, Paul always ensures that customers are quickly acknowledged upon arrival and receive attention asap. I appreciate his expertise and service, too. There are two other young men who have provided great service, I just don't recall their names. Overall, I've never observed an unhappy customer in my many visits to this store. Paul Walker, the store manager could not be better. He helped my husband and me transfer phones. We didn't purchase anything as we already had a phone, yet he spent about 30 minutes or longer with us. While helping us, he managed answering the phones and helping others all with grace an professionalism. He is great at multi-tasking. We went to the Verizon store in Clackamas about 30 minutes earlier and were told they couldn't help us with transferring the data from one phone to another. I explained to them that I was a business customer and had 10 phone lines with them. The rep still said she couldn't help. I will never go back there again, so disappointed! My go to store for all phone needs will now be through Cellular Plus and Paul Walker and his staff. I highly recommend this store and the staff! read more

Bought a new iPad and found that I needed a smaller SIM card. So, went into the Verizon store to see about getting a new SIM card. There was one person working the counter helping a customer. So, I waited... After a while another clerk appeared from the back room and question me on what I needed. I explained to him that I was replacing an older iPad on Verizon with a new iPad on Verizon and I needed a smaller SIM card. At which point I was told that they were out of SIM cards and I would have to come back tomorrow. So, how does a cellular phone store sell phones without SIM cards? I was later told by someone that works in mobile phones at another retailer that that was bunk. That representative didn't want to deal with the work required to re-register a new SIM card to my account since he wouldn't get credit for a phone sale. So, the next time I need assistance with any Verizon product, I will go over to West Linn and avoid this store, and more than likely the entire Cellular Plus franchise. read more

The ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had in purchasing an iPad and iPhone!!! First and foremost it bears mentioning that this outfit is ONLY an authorized Verizon dealer and is NOT an actual Verizon store itself. Do yourself a favor and go into the ACTUAL Verizon store at the Clackamas Promenade!!! When I went into the store in mid September to see what offers they had on an iPhone 13, I was told that that if I traded in my iPhone 8plus, I would get a $579.99 credit that would be applied at 1/30th that amount for 30 months. I was also told that I would qualify to get an iPad air with two discounts of $150 for loyalty and $350 for a "buy more save more" discount applied in the same manner. So I took the bait and got the iPad and put in my order for my iPhone 13pro expecting the discounts that they sold me and put on paper for me. When I asked what my payment will be, they give me a rough estimate but can not and will not give me anything on paper. Their estimate for my new payment was around $130/mo as their computer screen was saying something north of $200/mo. When I asked "Why does your computer screen say north of $200?" They simply replied "Oh it just does that, that wont be your payment, don't worry" and then they proceed to tell you that your discounts for your purchases and exchange will show up on your statement in one to two billings. So I waited two billing cycles, November and December, and nothing had shown up in regards to the discounts that I was promised. So I call Verizon in late December and after several calls (after being dropped several times) and several hours on the phone, they tell me that my trade in was never received and that I do not qualify for any discounts. Irritation level getting pretty high at this point as one could imagine, 3 months after my initial visit. So I call Cellular Plus back and ask if they have a record of my phone being received by Verizon to apply the discount(at least for the phone) that was promised. They said that they had to call their vendor line at Verizon and see what happened. After the manager called Verizon he called me back with news that they did receive the phone and that the discount was being applied. Thinking the issue resolved, I wait for my January billing and again, it is at the much elevated amount without the promised discounts applied. Again I call in to Verizon, early January. They tell me that the discounts were not applied correctly by the employees at Cellular Plus and tell me to look at my next billing statement. Trying to be as patient as possible, I wait until my February billing is out, AGAIN, it is at the inflated amount and REFLECTS ZERO discounts that I was promised in SEPTEMBER OF 2021!!!! So guess what I am doing almost 5 months after the visit in which I got my iPad and iPhone? ON THE PHONE WITH VERIZON AGAIN, WOO HOO!!!! They still do not show that my discounts are being applied and they keep saying that Cellular Plus did not apply the discounts correctly. I have been on the phone today with Verizon for over 3 hours (and counting). They said that they show ZERO DISCOUNTS for the iPad but were able to track down that I MIGHT be eligible for the $579.99 discount. I explained that isn't good enough, I need all the discounts that were promised to me by the Cellular Plus sales guy. As I sit here and continue to wait with a Verizon rep, after already being on the phone for over 3 hours, I implore you, just go to the actual Verizon Store at the Clackamas Promenade. Moral of the story is: You shouldn't have to waste dozens of hours of your own time after dozens of calls to Verizon to try and get them to honor discounts that a secondary Cellular Plus promised but didn't deliver on 5 months earlier. This absolutely LUDICROUS!!! Oh, and by the way, they are telling me I will need to wait another 2 billing cycles before I see any credits, that could be May... IF I SEE ANY CREDITS AT ALL!!! Criminal conduct, deception, and poor customer service. In December I was at the 15115 SE McLoughlin Blvd Verizon store being helped by the store manager, Dan Brady. I was a happy T-Mobile customer, but my employer had just signed a contract with Verizon offering a 15% discount, so I thought I'd see about prices. Dan informed me that currently Verizon was currently offering promotional incentives that would equal $300 if I switched services. He hand wrote out the discounts, gave them to me, and said they would take place in a few months. I agreed to start service. Four months later and several conversations with Verizon employees, these discounts had not been applied. I went back to the McLoughlin store in March and spoke to the new store manager, Amber, about the situation. She informed me that the previous manager, Dan Brady, had been fired due to unscrupulous activity and that she and other Verizon management were "cleaning up his messes". Turns out that their store manager was lying about my incentives, committing a crime. She agreed to help me by contacting her superior and requesting that my agreement with Dan be honored. She said she would contact me in two days. I never heard back from Amber. I went in to the McLoughlin store a week later to talk to her. She initially reported that she had not heard back from her supervisor regarding my request. A few minutes into our conversation she changed her statement, now saying that she had heard back and that "there was nothing she could do". She gave me the name of her territory manager, Stephanie Wriborg. Two store managers and multiple lies. I have been willing and patient, wanting to work with Verizon and its staff, but their lack of integrity and disrespect for their customers is appalling. As someone who has been a victim of a Verizon employee's criminal activity, a manager of their company, they would want to do everything they can to right the wrong and honor the agreement that their store manager made. I met Stephanie at the store and she took my report. After reviewing the information she said, "You are not going to like this" and proceeded to say they would not honor two of the three incentives Dan had promised. She argued that my information was "heresay". No apologies for the mistreatment. Nothing resembling customer service. I left. I called Verizon customer service to file a complaint against Amber and Stephanie. The representative was kind, took my information, and passed it on to the appropriate channels. His name was Chris and he was professional and responsive, apologized for Amber and Stephanie and reported that my information would be reviewed and if appropriate, disciplinary action taken. He also said that the $300 credits would be reviewed and considered to be offered. A stark contrast to the treatment of Amber and Stephanie. I would avoid doing "business" with this store and it's management team. Unless you like being treated poorly. read more

First off this is NOT A VERIZON STORE. This is a store that also deals with Verizon products. I stopped by 3 times to find out info. First time a young woman named Emma helped me, she was very friendly, informed, and helpful and gave me all the info I needed to make the decision to upgrade. Second visit was apparently just as they closed. The guys inside went in the back and switched the lights off and locked the door and ignored us rather than just saying they had just closed for the evening. Third time went in and dealt with the manager Dan I believe his name was. He was as friendly as dealing with the DMV. I told him about the night before and that I thought it was rude, he responded with "anyways" thought it was very rude and not what I would expect as proper customer service in the private sector. I decided to go to the real Verizon store after another run in with another fake store that tried to scam me. read more

Possibly my best experience at a mobile store yet. Nathaniel helped us switch carriers through a struggling "break up" with Sprint, after they've apparently overcharged my account for over a year. He went beyond the expected service of a customer service representative, even reaching out to Sprint to see what he could do with the release of the phone and account numbers. It's a stressful process but he even may us laugh through the whole process. The store manager even chimed in with his knowledge of Sprint services to help us understand the before and after process of switching and what benefits Verizon has to offer. Honestly I'm sold on Verizon services and I will definitely come back to this store for any of my concerns and needs. Verizon & Cellular Plus are lucky to have the employees that really care about the needs of the customer and I will highly recommend this store specifically for any of your cellular needs! Retail life is hard, especially when it comes to cellular services, but the staff here made the process easy and fun. read more

This is the worst store ever. First of all a company that wants to hide it's name and masquerade as a Verizon store when in fact it is not should be a red flag. I did not know at any point while shopping for a new phone that I was not in Verizon store. I purchased an iPhone 12 pro max and needed to return it the very next day. I was charged incredible fees on top of the phone cost which is not even my biggest complaint. I read the contract and new that I could return the phone within three days and I would get a full refund plus my $40 activation fee. They told me that it would be a credit on my bill which never came to pass. They also never actually returned the phone when I went back. I started getting a bill for a phone I did not have. Major problems these people are scam artists and need to be shut down for Fraud. read more

I bought my new iPhone at the Verizon store in Milwaukie Oregon, and when I was looking was told that they would set me up with a good package of protection - charger, case with screen protection. The insinuation was that this would be included with the price of the phone. The next week when buying the phone, I came to understand that they were going to 'discount' and sell me the 'package'. The discounts were given as it turns out on overpriced items. Had I bought the 3 items on Amazon, they would have been much cheaper. The Gadget Guard Black Ice screen protector I was sold for a 'discount' of 29.99 is 10 dollars on Amazon. The Samsung OEM Wireless Charging Pad (which I don't need as the salesman lied about Apple batteries overcharging) which was 'discounted' for me at 29.99 is less than 20 dollars on Amazon. I also can't return any one item as they were a 'package discount' and so they told me at the store when I tried to return the wireless charger that they could only give me 10 dollars for it. In fact I can't return all three as the screen protector has been glued to the phone. I believe this was a set up so that one cannot return any item and get a reasonable refund. So really, nothing is returnable which I think is illegal. I feel like I've been conned, a cheap street con that I fell for. Well, live and learn, and I've learned that I will quit Verizon and warn all others against doing business with Verizon. So Verizon gained a few bucks and pissed me off for life. Hope that works out for you. What ever happened to just being a good company, satisfying a need with a service, and not up-selling and scamming at every turn? Sick of this business model. read more

They sold a friend (senior citizen) a used phone at full price and wouldn't let her return it even though she didn't want it in the first place but felt pressured into buying it. Walked in the door earlier today, staff was very busy. After waiting several minutes a staff member became free. There were two people ahead of me. But this staff member didn't acknowledge anyone else who was waiting. He then proceeded to start helping another staffer and just totally ignored all of the waiting customers. Ashlee greeted us at the door with a friendly smile and quickly got started work my requests. She explained what she was doing along the way as she looked for ways to get me the new phone without increasing my monthly cost. She was able to do it and I'm the happy owner of a new S7! Very disappointed with this store. My wife upgraded her cell phone and was told the only protective case they had was black, she wanted a more feminine looking case, but that if we purchased the black case that it could be exchanged, within 30 days, for a more suitable color when they came in. Stopped at the store about 10 days later, during their Grand Opening, and spoke with a district manager who ordered a more suitable case and said he would let the store manager know. 2 days prior to the 30 day exchange was to expire we stopped by the store, nobody had called us, and was told by the store manager that he knew nothing about what the district manager had told us or of any order of the case but that we could spend another $30. to purchase another case. Needless to say we declined to purchase another and the wife will just deal with having a masculine looking case. read more

I went in to get a phone added to my account. I was told the activation fee was being paid for in the store. The receipt shows nothing of the kind. This store also charges $15 to connect your phone, when other places like the actual Verizon store and Best Buy do it for free. The phone we ended up getting was $1.50 more per month than Best Buy as well. Avoid this place like the plague. What a joke. read more

There were some difficulties that delayed my order--not the store's fault--but everyone there was incredibly polite and helpful, especially the store manager, Dan Brady, who spent a great deal of time on the phone to ensure that everything worked out in the end. This is not a Verizon store and they do not know the Verizon plans!!! I spent an hour on the phone when I got home straightening everything out with real Verizon folks. What Dan, the manager, told me I had and what my new costs would be were totally incorrect. He also signed me up for insurance that I specifically said no to. He didn't want me to read what I was signing either. In addition he is pushy, sells you stuff in bundles so you don't notice some of what he includes is outrageously priced. Do not go here. These guys have better hours and friendlier service than T mobile across the street. They are higher priced but you get what you pay for. The reason for the 4 star is because they try to sell you stuff and give too many unwarranted alerts. But otherwise, they are solid and have good service. read more
