Having been a T-Mobile customer since 2015, I can confidently say that the branch on 11924 SE Division St in Portland, Oregon managed by Angel is going to be the single location that I recommend my friends and will be going to for all my needs. The single reason - they have your best interest in mind. My wife and I had one simple task, add two lines to my account with a grandfathered One Plus plan. We had done our initial research, visited a few branches, and even talked to the call center but none of them were about to give us an answer that aligned with what we had seen on the mobile app. Unfortunately, we needed the lines that week and could not wait for the processing and shipping time if we were to order them through the mobile app. Fortunately, we went to the branch on Division, and Angel's team, Bernie in particular provided us with answers without hesitation that aligned with everything we had researched! Not only were we able to get the lines at the price we saw on the mobile app, he told us about other promotions to help us save money! Since I have a grandfathered plan, Bernie needed to work with the call center to activate the lines and what impressed me is that he stressed to the representative on the phone multiple times, without me mentioning it, we did not want to change our plan since it would cost me more. Bernie's level of exceptional service did not stop there! Even though their branch did not have the phone I wanted, he partnered with Angel to transfer the phone to their branch in under an hour. This story is only a fraction of the memorable customer service experience I had with Angel and Bernie. I walked in to this T-Mobile near Southeast 122nd and Division Street after I called to find out if they had the newer brand and type of cell phone that I looked up on the T-Mobile website. I was able to purchase one and there were a few other people inside this location. There weren't any cell phones on display on the afternoon that I arrived. There were a few questions that the manager Angel answered while he got my cell phone ready for me. I was told there would be a short wait for a stock check in the back storage area for a similar cell phone for my darling Husband. There was another dude that went to look. I was going to tell Angel that I could return the next day after there were some more boxes of inventory that were processed... but, the other dude brought out a similar smart phone. I asked about faster chargers. I bought two (one for each cell phone). There were a few people who tried to "jump the line" while thepre were people waiting to get inside. I didn't know that a Wednesday before 7 PM would be so busy at this location. Also, there weren't that many parking spots in front of this location when I arrived. I didn't see the last person in line had backed onto the sidewalk in front of me. I think I scared that person when I said "Excuse me." There were about thirteen other people who were waiting in the line after I left with those two newer cell phones. I bought a case for my darling Husband's phone on that afternoon. I had to return later (a different day) for a cell phone case for my newer cell phone. I haven't had any issues with my or my Schmoopie's (that's my husband) cell phones. I am very happy with my and my Schmoopie's Android cell phones. read more

Went in to upgrade my phone according to their Jump service after having my current phone for a year. Initially I was excited, the representative (Jordan) was very friendly and suggested a bundle with screen protector, case and a set of Beats headphones. After at least 30 minutes of choosing my accessories and having them inspect my phone, I was ready to check out with my new iPhone. Jordan had repeatedly assured me that I wouldn't need a down payment, that the extra monthly cost would just be added to my next bill cycle. But he lied. They wanted $100 up front, even though I had deliberately double checked throughout our conversation that no money would be required immediately. I'm severely disappointed. My time was wasted. I'm going to switch to a more honest carrier. read more

These guys lied to my face after telling me I'd have better service after switching to them. I work all over Portland metro area and need to listen to music while I work. It helps me relax and do what I've been doing for 20 years. However with t mobile I get no service, ever, anywhere and every time I come in to their store they're too busy to take care of me and I leave because I get tired of waiting. So my galaxy note 3s proximity sensor didn't work for a few weeks brought it in to the store call t-mobile and said I had to reset the phone! Which I've done I'm just stunned that they haven't heard about the sensor problems I tried to fix it never worked hoping to get it fixed at the store nope. If I could give these people zero stars, I would. They are rude and unhelpful. Why is this shop even open??? Both of the times I was unable to get help from this store I went down the street to a T-Mobile on Powell BLVD. and recieved the services I needed. So now I see why I said, "if you come into this store, seek assistance from Ryan" (I've paraphrased) Nevertheless, I went into this store moments ago and "Shik" as she spelled it, is an undercover smart-ass (as I like to call it) who acts as though she's too cute to poot. With that being said, I ask about upgrading and before I could put a period on the end of my sentence, she begins explaining the upgrade policy. I asked, if it would be okay if I gave her my phone number and she looks over at her Co worker, smirks and says, "yeah, sure." So I gave her and her Co worker a hard stare, smiled and gave her my information. She's smacking on gum and begins telling me something about my account. I say "something" because I literally tuned her out, thanked her for her services, asked for her name, as well as, the spelling and walked out. Wow! I guess good help is very hard to find these days. Tmobile should really consider having "Secret Shoppers" go into their stores and checkout the service. Just a suggestion... Came in to pay off my phone and there was a long line. A gentleman went (I'm assuming) to get a manager and while in line, took our names and reasons for being there. Obviously, was a way to preoccupy our impatience but it worked. The lady who helped me was short, sweet and to the point. Way better service than I had before. read more

Everything was fine with them when I was spending alot of money in their store. Had an issue with my phone that I only had 2 days. At first they said they would let me exchange it with no out of pocket money. Called the store to make sure they had the phone in stock before driving the 100 Miles to the store. Steven answered gave me major attitude. Left me on hold for 10 minutes while he "checked" to see if they had the phone in stock. He said I had to pay the $50 which the day before I was told I would not. I asked to speak to the store manager, but Steven refused to let me. So basically this store screwed me and did not keep their word. Poor customer service if you have any issues. As long as you are spending and not exchanging they help you. read more

Stopped by to get an upgrade. The employees all seemed less than thrilled to be at work. I was passed over by the customer who walked in after me. The employee who helped me was not friendly and hardly cracked a smile. I know they are supposed to upsell you but id rather not be pushed into buying things to help with your commission. I will never visit this location again and am highly considering switching to At&t. Also, T-Mobile really should stop passing their costs on to their customers.
